I have been getting a lot of comments on the Cultivation Levels and Spirits… this post is to explain the basic workings of the world that I have imagined for this fiction…

First of all, about Spirits…

As I have explained in the beginning chapters, Spirits are the manifestations of the Soul of a Cultivator. They are real beings that exist beside the Cultivator and even participate in battles. (This has been explained too…). Yes, it is somewhat similar to the Spirit System of one of my favourite novels, Doulou Dalu. But there are some differences! Spirits there are considered battle strength. Even though they represent the potential of the Cultivator, they don’t really help in the path of Cultivation except when the 10th level is reached and the need for the Spirit Ring arises, or when the battle arises…

But in Spirit God Shura, the Spirits exist with you and [Grow Up] (Remember this term, guys…) along with you. And no, they don’t require Spirit Rings to Grow. As long as the Cultivator advances in his cultivation, the Spirit will grow up. For example, if the Spirit is a [Dog]. When it will Awaken, it will be a [Puppy]. As you advance, it will grow from puppy to a full size dog, it will be like raising a puppy in your house. But here, the food for the puppy will be Spiritual Energy. The best quality you have, the powerful your Spirit will grow. The [Dog] of a Spirit Sense will be inferior to a [Dog] of Spirit Condensation!

But that’s all; The [Dog] will stay a [Dog]. It will not change its species!

Now, the MC cultivates a special technique that will [Evolve] the Spirit. If MC had a [Dog] Spirit, it will be a [Puppy] just like everybody else. But the second stage will make it [Evolve], not [Grow Up]. It may even change its Species. For example, take LILY. She was a Fairy a first, but after the second stage, she became a [High Fairy]. See, she Evolve from a lower Species to a Higher one.

And no, Spirits cannot be made to appear and disappear like Doulou Dalu. The Spirits will stay in their physical form with the Cultivator. When they reach a certain level, then they can store the physical Spirit in their dantian. Even MC can’t hide the tiger cub. As to why he was able to hide LILY will be explained later, hmmm… maybe in the Academy Selections Arc…

Coming to the Cultivation Levels:

There will be 10 Realms and I have introduced 4 already till date. I even hinted at another 2!

Spirit Novice Realm --- Physical Training Realm and has 0 Level. MC stayed at the peak of this Realm for 2 years.

Awaken your Spirit… Form a Soul Bridge… Sense the Spirit Energy through your Spirit and raw it into your body.

Spirit Sense Realm --- Spirit Energy will be stored in the dantian and I will be a vortex. The Spirit Energy will be gaseous in this Realm. It has 10 levels. The 8th Level will be the breaking point in this Realm.

Spirit Condensation Realm --- Change the gaseous Spirit Energy into liquid and form a lake in the dantian. It too has 10 stages. Spiritual Sense will be available. The 8th Stage will be the breaking point in this Realm too…

Pseudo Core --- Half way formed Core in the dantian.

Spirit Core Realm --- Form a core from the liquid energy in the dantian. This Realm and the next Realm are somewhat important Realms for the story and hence the main points will not be discussed. Just imagine a ball made from the liquid energy condensed into a core. It has 3 stages and each stage provides a massive power up.

Nascent Soul --- No information will be provided at this stage. Visit later for updates.
