《The One Luna》Baptism of Blood

Right as they got up to the gate, they noticed it was cracked open a bit, when they suddenly heard a commotion inside.
"C'mon, don't make this any harder than it has to be. There's ten of us level 5 players versus two of you. We all know how this is going to end." an unknown male started yelling in an urging tone.
It didn't take a lot to guess what intentions these men had. Luna signaled for the group to stay quiet, as they started to slowly sneak in. The house had a long driveway, with hedges on the sides leading towards the front door. As they were hiding behind the bushes, Luna activated his stealth skill. Although these men were obviously here with no good intentions, he didn't feel as if that was reason enough to start massacring them. Although he had never never killed anyone before, he knew that in this new world, when it came to it, he would have to kill or be killed.
"Yeah, I promise, just the tip!" Chimed in a bald guy. Luna recognized these guys, they lived around this neighborhood, and were in the same group of friends, he'd notice their eyes always following the two sisters when they were in College, especially when they walked past them in the hallways, those guys would be sitting on the floor, their eyes would be homed in on the two's behind. At one point, even being as daring as grabbing Clara's rear end and yelling "WORTH IT!" as he was getting beaten up. Luna also noticed another guy in the middle whom he'd never seen before. Listening in, he quickly found out who he was.
The bald guy pointed to the guy in the middle and said, "You see, my brother here just got out of jail, and despite being a bigger pervert than me, he hasn't tasted a woman that whole time."
Mara and Clara gripped their Itak Tagalogs tighter, fully knowing that a fight was inevitable. Like hell they'd give in to these guys.

The guy in the middle stepped forward, "My name is Eduardo, as you can probably assume, I'm not a very patient man. If you both continue to refuse to strip for your daddy here, I'll rape one of you while these 9 rape the other one, and you can both see each other get your virginity taken in front of each other. So what do you say? Or else you'll end up like this dumb security guard of yours." Eduardo pointed his Itak Tagalog at a corpse on the ground.
This man was called "Manong Jimmy," he had been a loyal security guard for the De Los Santos family for decades, and was considered as a second father by both Maria and Clara. This man acted as a father figure to the two, and was the one who introduced them to Filipino Martial Arts.
Maria who was the most hot-headed of the two couldn't take it anymore. She gave her sister a look and Clara immediately understood. The very next second, they both charged forward, from the front door, down the steps, towards the group of men, intending to fight to the death. Eduardo had a smirk on his face, as this was within his calculations.
He knew of the sisters' fiery temper. If they went inside, it would take much more effort, as the huge front door seemed sturdy, and the windows had ornate metal bars on the outer end, they would have to expend more energy that way. If they caught the attention of some zombies or passing evolved zombies, that would waste even more of their energy, possibly losing a person even.
As Sura and the rest were already behind the shrubbery closest to the group of men, they charged out as well. Luna hit Eduardo in the back of the neck with the butt of his Itak Tagalog, knocking him out.
"CHAIN LIGHTNING!" Apple didn't hesitate as well, as someone who invested majority of her points to INT, as well as being higher leveled, she easily took down 5 of the men, only stopping after leaving them with a sliver of HP, not enough to kill them, but enough to incapacitate them.

Sura and Mabini took the other two by surprise and knocked them out as well. Boni, with his lack of AGI didn't even get to throw out an attack at all.
"Luna!" The Dragon sisters exclaimed after recovering from their initial shock. After getting excited for a moment, they were quickly reminded of a grim truth, "Manong Jimmy he... Even as they were about to kill him he still begged for them to have mercy on us and let us go." Luna gave them both a hug as they started sobbing as they hugged him back tightly.
No matter how aloof they seemed on the outside, towards the people they cared for, they would show a warmth that was a sharp contrast to how they were to the rest. "They deserve to die! Those bastards deserve to die!" Luna hugged them tighter as he rubbed their backs trying to comfort them, as he looked at the tied up thugs with eyes that showed no mercy and only replied with two words, "I know."
Sura noticed his expression, and couldn't help but think in her head that she was lucky to have been summoned by Luna and not anyone else. Quick to adapt, valued his relationships with his friends highly, kind, yet to the people who deserved it, he could show such resolute eyes. She knew these thugs were done for, she just didn't expect how Luna was about to do it.
As the group of ten men started to wake up, they couldn't help but show fear in their eyes, one way or another, their ending was not going to be good.
Luna looked at his party, and especially made eye contact with everybody but Sura.
"One way or another, I'm sure you somehow guess it would come to his. In this new world, humanity's darkest side, some far more disgusting than what these men have shown is bound to pop up all over the place."
The rest couldn't help but grip their weapons tightly, as Apple clenched her fists and tried to even our her breathing as Luna continued, "See, even the most vile of monsters would look pitiful when they get caught by people stronger than them. The more cunning ones would try to play off of your sense of pity, and when you let them go, they'll come back to either kill you, or kill those close to you."
Hearing this, the group of thugs started shaking their heads and pleading with their eyes.
"I'm not going to force you guys to kill, but if you can't show m--" but before he could finish his speech, Luna was suddenly interrupted. "CHAIN LIGHTNING!" Apple suddenly sent an arc of electricity that chained to 5 of the thugs tied up, one tick of damage was enough to kill the five, then she stopped before it chained to the rest, leaving five charred corpses.
"Apple, you.." the gang was shocked as it all happened too fast. Apple bowed slightly as she said, "I will not hesitate. I will not take the risk of possibly losing my brother or my new friends. I promise I won't be a liability, but an asset to our survival in this new world. I promise I won't bully the innocent no matter how strong I get, but I won't be so naive either. "
Luna couldn't help but walk up to Apple, put his hand on her shoulder, and nodded in approval.
The rest followed suit, Luna, Sura, Mabini, and Boni who borrowed an Itak Tagalog, beheaded the other four. They made their deaths quick and painless.
Maria and Clara walked towards Eduardo, crossed their blades by his neck, and after looking at the panic and tears in his eyes, sliced his head right off. The whole team had blood sprayed over them.
It was like a baptism of blood into the new world.

Gods How I Hate Nature
While there are always choices in life, lately they’ve all tended to skew between bad, terrible, and suicidal. Tome finds himself typically choosing the latter. As if people and plants consistently trying to kill him wasn’t bad enough, he finds himself sent off to a Mage Spire along with a self-righteous other worlder (as though there were any other kind). Add to this some powerful figures in black, a sadistic instructor, an uptight law keeper, and Tome just wants to go back to his room, down a pint, and forget about everything… But, when someone starts a fight, especially someone bigger and stronger, you bide your time and strength. Before you can get revenge, you have to settle for surviving and slowly gaining power. That means accepting the most suicidal choices, doing the jobs no one else will do, always smiling, and not slitting that other worlder’s throat… (The story will incorporate comedy, but it will be a dark story. This won't be a happy, uplifting tale, but it also won't be too morose or depressing. Though if you're rooting for the other worlders, then I suppose it will be...)

Sanguine
The Coles are probably the definition of a small dysfunctional family, even if they weren’t the worst in existence; they would probably be lauded as an example of the term. The Coles were a small family though. The father, Oliver Cole, was an asshole ex-football jock who bounced around in small paying jobs after wasting most of his life drinking, drugging and whoring. The daughter, Stacy Cole, was smart, but had many issues including anger, trouble with authority, and occasional suicidal thoughts, and was kicked out of many a school for disruptive behaviour. The son, Mike Cole, was innocent, and tried his best to be kind to anyone and everyone, however his own speech impediment, and slow nature only aided people to bully and belittle him, including his own father. The Coles were indeed a dysfunctional family. At least they were, until they got to the small town near the border between the United States and Canada, Sanguine. Welcome to Sanguine. You will stay. With the exception of the first chapter, each chapter only follows one character. The first chapter is the only chapter in which I will include 'Sides' where it follows a different character. This is a short Lovecraftian story, it won't go above seventeen chapters. Note: the book cover is my first attempt, it might not even remain like it is, I was just tired of seeing the standard 'no cover' thing on it.
