The Immortal Willow Tree was originally pleased after getting one of the pesky army's leaders off-guard and pierced him right in the heart. However, it was surprised when the human that had been pierced by its branch disappeared in some sort of mist.

'Illusion?' it thought to itself.

High up in the sky, the Law God Sect's sect master looked at the Immortal Willow Tree with his heart beating rapidly.

That was close. Thankfully, he sent over his illusion beforehand before going to attack the immortal himself. If the one that had tried to attack the immortal earlier wasn't his illusion but him, there was no doubt that he would die.

If he had his heart stabbed by the branch, he would be seriously injured but he wouldn't die. But the Immortal Willow Tree's branch wasn't just a normal branch. There was divinity in it. It was a branch from an immortal tree. He had seen other people being pierced by the branch before while he was avoiding it and saw their bodies drying up within a few seconds after being pierced by the branch.

Those branches sucked their vitality away!

While he was observing the Immortal Willow Tree, its branches had found him and were now chasing him once again. He quickly ran away while thinking about how to deal with it. They couldn't just keep running away. They had to deal serious damage to it and running away wouldn't help in doing that.

Just then, he heard the leader of the war deities speak to him through his Divine Sense.

"Let's gather up and attack the Immortal Willow Tree while it is immobilized," the war deity said.

After the Immortal Willow Tree transformed to its new, humanoid form, hitting the immortal with their supreme arts had become quite a challenge since, with its mobility and increased speed, it was able to dodge their attacks easily.

However, the Immortal Willow Tree right now was immobilized since its feet were buried deep in the ground while its toes were chasing after each of them in the form of a branch. Not only that but its hands were also immobilized since it was also chasing after them too.

"Less talk. Act more," the crown prince said as a golden dragon came out from his fist and headed straight towards the Willow Tree's, obliterating dozens of them in a straight line in an instant.

Yu Shan sighed as he cut the Willow Trees that came near him.

Not far away from them, the other top ten of the Golden Dragon Election and the core disciples of the Law God Sect were each fighting the Willow Trees away along with the others in the rear.

They were in the rear which was supposedly the safest position in the army, however, the large number of the Willow Trees made sure that their army was basically surrounded by the Willow Trees from the vanguard to the rear.

If there was one thing positive in their current situation, it was the fact that the Willow Trees weren't that tough. Even Mortal Lords like them could take them without too much difficulty. Still, the Willow Trees might not be that tough but they all possessed incredibly dangerous power.

Just one mistake from them and it might cost them their life.

They were just at the Mortal Lord Realm and there were literally hundreds of thousands of Willow Trees around them. It would be a tall order asking them not to make a single mistake while dealing with these things out. Even some Sacred Kings made a mistake and lost their lives from these fragile, yet dangerous Willow Trees.

Yun Yi summoned thousands of spiritual orbs and sent them each to the Willow Tree's, taking thousands of them out.

While he was doing that, the Law God Sect's strongest disciple was laughing to himself as he destroyed waves upon waves of Willow Trees that came near him.

"What a monster," Yun Yi said to himself with a smile as his gaze landed at Yu Zhong.

Yu Zhong heard what he said and smirked.

"You're quite a monster yourself," he said, looking at the sheer destruction that Yun Yi had caused when he destroyed those thousands of Willow Trees in just a few seconds.

Yun Yi just smiled. Compared to his young master, what he had done was nothing. With Yun Ling's talent in controlling his spiritual energy, he could make hundreds of thousands of spiritual orbs in just a few seconds. Whereas him, he could also do that but it would take him more time and effort.

In the Jin Empire, the Yun Clan was the best at controlling their spiritual energies and inside the Yun Clan, there was no one more talented than Yun Ling.
