Yun Ling, Snow Fang, and the god looked up as a pillar of light suddenly rose to the sky from the ground in the deepest part of the Thousand Mountain Valley. They stopped in their tracks as they watched the pillar of light in awe, including the god.

The pillar of light released an incredible amount of Divine Energy which could be felt from every part of the world, making the hearts of every living being in the World of Terra touched by its Divine Energy tremble in awe and trepidation. No matter where they were, at that very moment, all of them stopped what they were doing as they watched the pillar of light in the far distance from their current position.

When the pillar of light pierced through the skies, the world suddenly became blindingly bright for a split second. It was as if the sun had gotten closer to their world. Even in the opposite part of the world which should be nighttime had become bright as the pillar of light spread its light all over the world after reaching the skies.

With an awed look, the god had an exhilarated voice as he said to himself, "The Heavenly Grand Treasure in the Thousand Mountain Valley has finally awakened."

In the entire universe, there were only twelve Heavenly Grand Treasures in existence. They were called the Twelve Heavenly Grand Treasures.

Even if he was a god, his heart was in a mess because of how close he was to the Heavenly Grand Treasure. Not to mention a god like him, even if it was an ancient god or a primordial god in his place, their hearts would also be stirred.

That was because each treasure had a power that went beyond the norms. If they wanted to, they could even change the laws of the universe using the Twelve Heavenly Grand Treasures. It was a sought-after treasure by all kinds of living beings in the vast universe.

"I see... originally, it was going to take a few more days before the treasure awakens, however, the death of the immortal hastened its birth. The Divine Energy released by the immortal was enough to complete its rebirth," the god said in amusement. "That rotten thing has a use after all. It should be glad that its death was of use to the Heavenly Grand Treasure."

He quickly realized it since the treasure only awakened after the immortal's death. It wasn't really that hard to think that they were connected to each other.

At the side, Yun Ling's heart was beating uncontrollably while his eyes were hurting. The effects of the Heavenly Grand Treasure were much greater to him compared to everybody else. When the Heavenly Grand Treasure's Divine Energy passed through his body, his eyes were throbbing painfully.

'What's going on?' he thought to himself as he endured the pain in his eyes. 'Is my Divine Eyes reacting to the Heavenly Grand Treasure?'

"Young Master, are you okay?" Snow Fang asked Yun Ling in concern when he saw Yun Ling's face contort in pain as he placed his hands on his eyes.

The god looked over at Yun Ling and raised his brow. Were the Divine Eyes reacting to the Heavenly Grand Treasure? Did they have some connection perhaps? He was a bit curious and wanted to find out why, but he doubted Yun Ling would know. He might have the Divine Eyes but he was still a mortal who knew nothing of the universe at the grand scheme of things. There was no point in asking him.

Besides, he would know the answer soon if he managed to get the Heavenly Grand Treasure into his possession before anyone else.

"Let us go, Mortal before those mortals or the other gods get there first!" he said as he dragged Yun Ling and Snow Fang with him before going to the pillar of light.

Somewhere near the pillar of light, a woman whose face was covered with a veiled hat accompanied by a handsome man was closing into it. They were the closest to the pillar of light among anyone else.

"The pesky immortal finally left this place and gotten itself killed," the handsome man said as they headed towards the pillar of light with all their speed. "If not for the army fighting it, we probably wouldn't be able to get the treasure in our hands with the immortal guarding this place all the time."

The woman didn't deign to give him a response as always. She ignored him as if she didn't have anyone with her.

The two had been waiting near that place the whole time and the immortal who was guarding the place before was none the wiser. It totally didn't notice them even though they were so close to it due to the treasures they have in their body that were masking their presence.

That was why it didn't take long for the two to reach the pillar of light.

The woman's ragged breathing could be heard as the two stopped in front of the pillar of light. At the foot of the pillar, the Heavenly Grand Treasure was there in all its glory.

She couldn't get a clear look at the treasure, however, because of the light that was covering it. She knew though that it was the Heavenly Grand Treasure that was before her.

The Divine Energy it was emitting that could be felt to the deepest part of their souls...

She could hear her heart thumping loudly as she got closer to the Heavenly Grand Treasure.

"Finally... the Heavenly Grand Treasure is now in our possession," the handsome young man said in exhilaration with an almost crazed look on his face.

The woman looked at the handsome man.

"Let's now activate the formation. The others are going to come here soon. I don't want them disturbing us while we're taking this thing away," the handsome man said to the woman.

Wordlessly, the woman and the handsome man activated the formations they had placed in the place months ago around the area.

A large blue barrier was suddenly created around a ten-kilometer radius with the pillar of light at the center. Aside from that, there was a large circular formation in the sky that covered the entirety of the Thousand Mountain Valley while streaks of lightning were snaking all over it.

This was what they had been preparing for in the Thousand Mountain Valley for months. They were placing formations in the strategic locations in the Thousand Mountain Valley for the entire duration of their stay whilst trying to avoid being detected by the immortal. Because of this, they could create a large-scale formation that would ensure they would get the treasure in their hands.

"Now then..."

The woman heard her companion speak after they were done casting the formation.

"It's time for you to sleep and submit to me."

The woman crossed her arms in front of her just in time before the supreme art hit her.
