Zao Ning’s body starts to morph and transform while within the stillness of time. His skin creaks as it changes on a molecular level into dragon scales. The scales protrude and cover his body like armor plating.

The shiny silver dragonscale armor consumes Zao Ning, replacing his skin and transforming him into what one would call a monster.

The human/dragon hybrid child grows in size to where he is over 10 feet tall and has monstrous sized wings.

Sharp teeth replace his old human ones and his tongues becomes longer and is forked at the end. His face and head contorts into a snout that ends in a sharp point and his hands morph into claws.

A tail shoots out of his back side and a sharp and deadly point forms at the end of it.

Inside of Zao Ning, power surges throughout his cultivation veins and they too start to shine with a silvery tint.

The two ki worms shiver in fear as they recognize the aura that Zao Ning constantly sacrificed them to coming after them. They try to run but to no avail, yet to their surprise, the two ki worms aren’t absorbed.

Instead, the silver power transforms the two ki worms, giving them the power of Zao Ning.

The two ki worms transform into two massive dragons residing within of Zao Ning. One is lightning blue with the scar and the other is black like pure darkness.

The two newly formed ki dragons give a loud and proud roar as they relish in their newfound power.

The two ki dragons voraciously suck in all of the lightning and darkness ki within 100 miles, causing a whirlpool of pure ki to swirl within Zao Ning with the two dragons being the guides.

The blood of his past self as completely reformed his newself and even his ki beings, yet Zao Ning doesn’t feel as if this is familiar.

Before his scales where smooth and didn’t have a metal shine to it, yet now they stick out like armor plating and look like metal to the untrained eye. On top of that, his tail didn’t end in a sharp spike before.

Now isn’t the time to be asking questions though, as Zao Ning has now transformed from a sleeping dragon into a pissed dragon.

Once his quick transformation ends, time flows again and a loud explosion blasts wind throughout the surrounding area.

As the wind subsides and the dust settles, the woman who thought the kid would be dead is shocked to her core.

Wei Ning is now within Dragon Zao Ning’s arms, unconscious. A gentle look flashes in his eyes as he looks at his mother who was going berserk.

Zao Ning sends a piece of his soul to find out what happened and notices a weird circle filled within strange letters residing in her heart.

With a quick slash attack from his soul, Zao Ning breaks the weird circle and the purple power spilling from within his mother vanishes.

Breathing a deep sigh of relief, Zao Ning is glad that he managed to stop his mother’s madness before something regrettable happened.

On top of that she was now unconscious so she didn’t have to witness her son murdering a woman in his horrifying new form.

Zao Ning puts Wei Ning as the woman is still stand directly in front of him speechless.

Zao Ning completely towers over the woman and an aura of pure and indomitable strength radiates from his new form.

“So… Who is the dragon now puny fly?” Zao Ning says in a snarky yet low growl.

The woman shivers for a second but is quick to recompose herself.

‘This is unexpected… I have plenty to help myself out of this situation. I just need to grab the girl and-’

As the woman was thinking to herself about her gameplan, Zao Ning is quickly to interrupt her with a startling movement.

Zao Ning raises his hand into the air and points his claws outward, showing he plans to slash towards the woman and cut her into mincemeat.

“Like I’d let you!” the woman yells as a circle full of weird letters appears above her head.

Zao Ning ignores it and sends his massive hand downward. To the woman’s surprise Zao Ning moves much faster than most people his size and is much stronger than the spell she used could handle.

The defensive spell she cast is easily destroyed by Zao Ning and his hand is unfaltering as it falls onto the woman’s body.

However, a necklace around the woman’s neck shines brightly and a new circle appears. Unfortunately for Zao Ning, this one does stop his hand and even sends a shock of lightning back towards Zao Ning.

Zao Ning isn’t fazed by the lightning at all but is startled by the fact his hand got stopped dead in its tracks. Zao Ning pulls his hand back and jumps backwards 30 feet. He is so fast it seems like he teleported to the woman, and all she can do is bite her lip to the point it draws blood.

The spell circle that had protected her at the last second shatters into thousands of pieces and dissipates.

‘To think that the only thing I have to stop him defensively is the life saving necklace my master gave me! On top of that, he was unfazed by the counter attack! What a monster I have awoken! I guess I have no option but to fight for my life!’ the woman thinks to herself as she stares at Dragon Zao Ning.

Zao Ning was also thinking to himself at this time.

If she is able to block my attacks like this then this could be a problem. I can’t use many Ki attacks as mother is too fragile for me to fight around her. I guess my only option is to move this battle elsewhere.

The two stare at each other, Zao Ning confidently while the other has a deadly glint in her eyes, waiting for the other to make the move.

Being confident in his abilities, Zao Ning makes the first move and puts his lightning ki dragon to work. He fuses the lightning ki to his metal like dragon body, increasing his speed immensely.

He then uses his newfound speed to surprise the woman, sends a heavy right palm towards the woman while using Shocking Bare Palm and Rock Cracking Thrust. Shocking Bare Palm covers his hands with deadly lightning Ki and the Rock Cracking Thrust guides Zao Ning’s right hand directly towards the large chest of the woman.

The woman only catches the sight of Zao Ning disappearing as she is then sent flying at extreme speeds.

Luckily for her the necklace activated once again on time to save her. Unluckily for her though, Zao Ning put extra power behind this hit and sent her flying just from its sheer force. She flies through the sky uncontrollably like a shooting star.

Zao Ning stands where he hit the protective barrier once again as lightning ki explodes all over the place.

The lightning ki devastates a few houses and even incinerates a few random civilians who are running for their lives.

Of course the barrier stopped Zao Ning from killing the woman again but atleast he did as planned and sent the woman flying away from his position.

Taking one last look at his mother to make sure she is okay, Zao Ning makes a promise.

“I will be back mother, I promise, just wait for me.”

Zao Ning then flexes his massive wings and shoots off into the distance, chasing after the shooting star like woman to end this once and for all.

Wei Ning slightly stirs after Zao Ning and starts to sweat in her sleep. It seems she is having a bad dream. A weak and small voice comes out of her mouth.

“No… Baby Zao, you can’t die yet… I still haven’t told you…”

Zao Ning was unable to hear these words as he has already flown away in pursuit of his target.
