“Lord Lucifer! You're too fast for me!” Ethel cried out as she followed behind Lucifer through the dense Talk Forest.

“Ahhh my bad.” Lucifer said as he waited for the girl to catch up. He scratched the back of his head while in thought of how to make this trip speed up. After a short wait for Ethel to catch up, Lucifer promptly grabbed her waist and took off. Carrying the now screaming girl through the forest at a much more satisfying pace. Within minutes they arrived back at the clearing. Still covered in Beast gore and destruction the clearing did not have one trace of the previous calming nature. Only one filled with slaughter and bloodshed.

“Lord Lucifer thank you for carrying me! I know I am not worthy to touch you but this honour shall always be remembered!” Ethel shouted as Lucifer let her go as they arrived at the bloody scene of the clearing.

Nodding indifferently Lucifer began weaving in and out of the Beast corpses, heading towards the cabin door. He felt like he should at least do something to the building that was once his home. But what to do eluded him. Choosing to just walk into the familiar building and deciding later, Lucifer gently opened the cabin door.

Seeing the place exactly the way he left it, made Lucifer quite frustrated. He hoped somewhere deep in his heart that he would walk into seeing Eric or even Jasmine and Yue sitting in the spacious living room. Yet the room lay empty. Not a soul had disturbed the room since yesterday when Lucifer left. Lucifer sighed as he walked through the room towards the kitchen and stairs leading to his room. It was as he walked into the kitchen he noticed three envelopes on the kitchen table. Joy flushed through his entire body! He knew that those letters were for him and he knew that it was from his three teachers. Desperate to open and read the contents Lucifer leapt for the letters. Only as he did he heard Ethel's voice calling for him.

Annoyed with how needy the girl was, Lucifer quickly stuffed the letters into his leather undercoat. As he grumbled about not being bothered so much since Jasmine, he walked out to the clearing to come face to face with Ethel who stood right outside the door. She dared not to come into the blood soaked cabin walls. No matter if Lucifer entered, she was definitely not going into such a terrifying building. So she was left to call for him as she knew not what she had to do. Lucifer had told her that the trip here was for here to collect some Beast parts and her brother's corpse, but Lucifer had left her alone as soon as he arrived at the clearing. Ethel as a Brown Initiate could do the menial task of collecting Beast parts, only she did not know what was OK to collect. If she took the parts of the couple Rank 3 corpses would Lucifer be mad? She had no idea, so she was left to call for him and hope for clarification.

“Lord Lucifer I am deeply sorry to disturb you but I know not which Beasts I am allowed to harvest.”

“Does it matter? The amount you can carry back matters little to the entire sum all these Beast corpses would sell for.”

“My apologies for disturbing you then.” Ethel spoke as respectfully as possible yet her delight in even being able to cart off some scrap Rank 3 Beast parts couldn't be concealed.

As Lucifer watched the girl almost skip into the gore ridden scene he felt like that kind of image was truly arousing. A woman who could slaughter as joyfully as himself or Luna. That was the kind of woman Lucifer wanted. He wanted to be the only one that could stand beside her. Stand next to her as she butchered her foes and Lucifer cleaved armies alongside her. These thoughts truly brought great interest in Lucifer.

As Lucifer began thinking of his perfect mate, he failed to notice Luna's exponentially increasing anger. He totally forgot how bonded their minds had become. And having Lucifer think of mates was extremely offensive to Luna who by all intents and purposes was his wife already. She had performed the Shadow Queen bonding ceremony with him. Although she knew not of the true implications at the time, Lucifer was still technically her 'soul mate’ just considering their recent mental connection. How could the one who she bonded her soul with possible think such arousing thoughts without her knowing? It was impossible. Luna could very much understand Lucifer's growing need to find a mate, but she still did not approve of anyone but herself being beside Lucifer.

As her anger reached its peak, Luna finally lashed out. She leapt from Lucifer's shadow where she normally stayed and leapt at the unsuspecting Ethel. In Luna's mind Ethel had caused Lucifer to think of terrible two-leg bitches instead of herself. So, Ethel had to leave.

Raaaaargh

A savage snarl left her throat as she landed on Ethel's back as the girl was completely focused on skinning a Beast corpse. But to be fair, what did she have to fear? Lord Lucifer, royal draconian stood guard not 10 feet away from her. She would never have suspected that her Lord Lucifer had unknowingly brought her murderer inside that 10 foot distance between them.

Without a seconds hesitation, Luna pounced on top of Ethel. Pinning the girl to the ground and viciously bringing her blood thirsty jaws upon the girl's exposed throat. Blood gushed into Luna's mouth and filled her with euphoria as she savoured the lizard-bitch’s blood. Tearing into the bitch with newfound lust for more of the sweet yet metallic tasting blood, Luna swung her head from side to side. Using her razor sharp teeth like a chainsaw, tearing apart Ethel's throat. The sheer savagery of Luna's attack caused Ethel's heart to pump more blood through her body as she went into shock. There was no time for Ethel to feel fear or anything else. Just the purely natural reflex of pumping blood faster when one is hurt caused the surge of blood flowing into Luna's maw. Ethel died instantly. No knowledge of what killed her was even able to known by her brain before it ceased functioning.

Lucifer gawked.

He was watching Luna, as she toyed with Ethel's body like a rag doll. He watched as Luna made strategically placed bites to the dead girl's arteries so that more blood would drain from the body. He watched as his plans of using the girl as his agent in Lark City go up in smoke. Luna had just killed his best and only option for getting anything from Lark City. If he moved when Luna first left his shadow, maybe, just maybe he could have saved his would be tool. But Luna is a Shadow Queen Wolf. Masters of assassination and hunting. Her attack was always perfect, even more so after being taught by Lucifer as a child.

“What the fuck Luna?” Was the only thing Lucifer could say to the nnow bloody and flesh covered face of Luna as he stared at her. He really couldn't believe the normally passive aggressive Luna; that was usually only making snarky comments in his mind, would attack Ethel for no reason. So he chose to be the stern parent and grill an answer, well a lot of answers from the wolf.

“I killed the lizard-bitch.” Luna snorted as she began walking towards his shadow, once again throwing Lucifer for a loop with her attitude.

“LUNA!” Raged Lucifer. His Sin of Wrath coming out strong, making his aura and Mana flood the area around the two. His Sin of Pride was also evoked by Luna's blatant disrespect towards him, but his Wrath had been building and building over time. Luna finally added the straw that broke the camel's back, causing Lucifer to explode with fury.

“YOU WILL ANSWER ME WOLF!” Bellowed Lucifer, saying exactly how he felt from all the stifling that Luna made him endure. The crazy knowledge that she suddenly had when he awoke from his unconsciousness two years ago, when Yue told him of his past. The way she prevented him from learning how to become stronger, telling him her way was better, but then not even telling him a thing at all. The way she coached him in his conversation with Ethel being the latest showing of how much she controlled him passively. And Lucifer made sure Luna knew of it.

“You will sit down and tell me everything you are hiding! I am done with the way you control me from my shadow! You may be some great Beast but as of now, I can kill you if I really want to!”

“You think you can kill me Lucifer.” Came Luna's icy reply. No minced words. She got straight down to the main issue of Lucifer's words for her. The words ‘kill you’ triggered something deep inside Luna. A primal and instinctual urge to thrash and destroy Lucifer for his impudence towards the Shadow Queen she was. “Fine. Do it, abomination.” Luna taunted Lucifer with his one taboo word. The word that ended his hope for a happy life with his family. The word that drove him into hiding in a forest and using others to do things for himself.

“Luna. YOU DARE TO CALL ME THAT! FINE! DEATH SHALL COME!” Lucifer bellowed as he drew upon his entire being for power. He called forth his Dark Element Cladding, Mana Enhancement and he brought out his Wrath.

Darkness engulfed him as he roared in defiance. Defiant of the Gods, defiant of society, defiant of nature and all things that walk this world. His Wrath embodied all of his rage and hatred towards the world that made his life like it is. Wrath towards Heaven, Hell, Nirvana, Time and everything in between. This was Lucifer’s true emotions. He absolutely hated everything in the world of Gaies. The people pushed him into living like an animal for over half of his life! The rules of society deemed his life one that should not be living! The Gods toyed with his heritage and ancestors therefore, humiliating him! And right now, Luna had brought forth this all encompassing Sin of Wrath to its peak. Lucifer was not just Lucifer now. Now, he was Wrath. Wrath was him. The only thing separating the Sin and the boy was his consciousness that was being fueled by the Sin and slowly making it his own.

Luna though, cared not for the intricacies of Lucifer’s inner self. She only felt the urge to stop him into the ground beneath her paws and make him know who the Queen really was. Her blood itself refused to balk at Lucifer regardless of Luna's feelings for him.

Instantly both Lucifer were at each other's throats. Pushing their auras against one another to try and find a weakness to exploit. Lucifer crouched and drew his glaive out from its strap on his back. Holding the massive weapon tightly with both hands he brought it into position. Blade edge down while facing outwards, shaft held at a 45 degree angle, he prepared to unleash a devastating upward slash. Luna likewise lowered her body and tensed her powerful legs as her tail and skull came into a perfectly straight line. Her claws extended and her lips pulled back to reveal her sharp, shredding teeth, Luna showed her body's natural weapons.

“You are the one I trusted the most Wolf. But even ‘family’ can betray me already, so you're just like the rest.” Knife like words left Lucifer as his voice became deeper and darker, a side effect of his usage of Wrath and his Dark Element.

“You think you are worthy to be this Queen’s family? How audacious of you, abomination.” Luna snapped back with venom and disdain.

“Fuck it then. I'll personally kill you and wear your oh so royal fur as my new coat.” Lucifer snarled as he leapt forwards while swinging his huge glaive like a club. His upward diagonal slash came hurtling towards Luna’s left cheek. Not before she breathed out a blast of Dark Element in defence. Her Mana Breathe easily negating the destructive power of Lucifer's attack. With his blow blocked, Lucifer instantly dropped his glaive and reached for his large execution sword. His body entering into sword form; feet spread one behind the other with his forward leg bent, he whipped out the sword with lightning fast precision.

An instant killing strike came whistling towards Luna’s neck while a trap was created below her. Lucifer's blade skills nearing perfection, he angled his body slightly and flung his tail towards Luna's legs as he struck with his sword. Lucifer aimed to snare her as she avoided his sword.

Luna had her own plans. She leapt sideways to avoid Lucifer entirely and she quickly entered the shadows surrounding the two fighters.

“Running already? Just like when I first met you, scared of everything.” Quibbled Lucifer mockingly as he saw her enter the dark shadows. Though his face showed no change, inside he was bitterly complaining about how cheat like her ability was.

“Who said I am running?” Snapped Luna through their mental link. The Shadow Queen Wolf runs from nothing. But Lucifer was a new being she had never faced before. She had killed two-legs before, but Lucifer was no average two-leg. He was an abomination of dragon and Nephilim, a true monster that should never have been born. And he showed his monstrous power as soon as she moved through the shadows and attacked his back.

A savage grin appeared on Lucifer's face as his tail shot straight through Luna's chest, while his large wing smashed her flank. He spun around as he threw his hand towards Luna's throat as she flew through the air. Grappling her thick fur, he pulled the still disoriented wolf over his shoulder and straight down. Smashing her head into the hard ground. Not holding back in the least, Lucifer swung the hilt of his sword into Luna's ribcage. Shattering her sternum and knocking the wind out of her, he then began to toy with her. Kicking her with a solid roundhouse to the hips, swinging his sword into her shoulder, mutilating her body with his sharp claws, Lucifer began to sadisticly play with Luna's battered body.

“How could you win against me?” Luna finally muttered mentally as she took another kick to the jaw, sending her flying into a tree.

“For a wolf that has been with me so long you don't even know half of what my real abilities are.” Lucifer chortled. “I can see intentions, idiot. How could you just hiding in the shadows block your intention to attack me?”

“Cursed Nephilim freak.” Luna stammered as she desperately tried to rouse her broken body into action.

Lucifer seeing how desperate Luna had become, instantly felt gleeful. His Wrath though twisted that satisfying pride into an urge of a far more sadistic manner. He began to think of torturing Luna as he engraved the word ‘abomination’ into her mind, body and soul. With a devilish grin he stalked towards the wolf who could not even stand.

“Luna, Luna, Luna. You know what I want right now?” Lucifer spoke very gently as if the tormenting actions of earlier and the torturous thoughts came from someone else entirely. “I want answers. Very simple and easy answers. Can you be a good puppy and tell them to me?”
