《Sometime in Autumn: A Fallen Noble’s Journey to Immortality》74 Magnanimous Young Master

“The righteous path to immortality should teach a cultivator to have an initial impulse to be generous.”
It took 3 months before Qai and his group, together with the giant Ant colony, finished all structures to the detail.
It could have been completed much faster but Qai’s proficiency in Array formations did not meet his own personal requirement in the plan.
So Qai had to redo plenty of times all the formation Flags that he refined before finally coming up with the desired result.
On the other hand, Qai rewarded Old Ye Mo with medicinal pills he gained from the Core Formation stage cultivators he killed which the old tool refinement master greatly appreciated.
In fact, Old Ye Mo considered the completed mountain peak as one of his greatest achievements.
In his overwhelming contentment, he refined a large treasure bell of which he advised Qai to hang it on a tall decorative arch subsequently built across the main hall.
Soon, walls gradually materialized on top of the mountain followed by a sudden appearance of thick clouds brought about by the Array formations that eventually covered the mountain peak.
Obviously, these changes did not go unnoticed by the mortals and cultivators from the Rising Sun City so much so that the news created an uproar among themselves.
Some thought that the bandits residing in the mountain were starting to cause some major situations.
But a number of Qi Condensation cultivators believed an Artefact was actually born in the peak so a lot of them ventured atop the mountain to investigate and eventually look for a fortune.
But when they came to pass the clouds and arrived at an area near the walls, their advance was suddenly interrupted by an Array formation.
‘How come there is such a high-grade restriction here!?’
They were aware that the bandits had no such ability. So they couldn't help but get confused.
And from a distance, they could also see the massive walls that emitted a strong defensive aura.
‘And where did those bandits get the resources to build something this extravagant!’
The cultivators did not know whether to continue or not when suddenly, the Crag Brothers appeared before them emitting mid-Foundation Establishment stage aura.

Apparently, the two brothers brokethrough during the period with the help of Qai’s medicinal pills from the spoils.
“Stop! This is the Saints Hall mountain peak. If our Young Master had not invited you, then you should go back and we’ll forgive you this once for trespassing.”
‘What!?’
Of course, the cultivators could not see through the brothers’ true strength. They could just speculate.
‘Foundation Establishment stage!’
‘Saints Hall!?’
‘When did the bandits had the gall to openly become this organized!? If the city lord learns of this, he would surely muster his forces to finally eradicate these bandits!’
Obviously, the cultivators could not openly voice out their thoughts loudly in front of the Crag Brother lest they provoke the latter somehow.
“Seniors, we apologize for our behavior. It's just that we came to investigate the sudden appearance of walls and clouds in this mountain peak.”
The Crag Brothers stared at them in an intimidating fashion before flicking their hands.
Instantly, a wave of spiritual Qi energy gushed forth and struck the group of cultivators.
The sudden attack sent the group of Qi Condensation cultivators flying as they sprayed a mouthful of blood.
“You should be thankful that our young master was magnanimous enough to instruct us not to kill anyone who mistakenly came to our territory.”
The Crag Brothers harrumphed as they saw the group of cultivators barely getting up from the pain.
“But let it be known, that from now on, this mountain peak shall be called Saints Hall. Whoever dares to intrude or even question our claim over this peak is welcome to come up here.”
The following days, as expected nobody came to get near mountain peak but rumors about the bandits officially forming a group called ’Saints Hall’ spread like wildfire.
During the period, Qai also came to visit the Rising Sun City in disguise to pick up some news about the war on the continent and to see what commodities could the city actually offer its people.
Apparently, it was also during that time that Qai learned that the sudden disbandment of the Precious Tree Sect did not bode well for the Scarlet Feather Sect as the rate of defeat which their defensive lines suffered increased day by day.

Also, Qai took the opportunity to fly miles around on his Guandao across the forested areas from the back of the mountain.
By now he was already at the great circle of the Qi Condensation stage. Apparently, the range of his Spiritual Sense did not improve much–but its quality did.
The rate of its use no longer expended too much of his spiritual Qi energy like it had used to.
Surprisingly though, Ji Wuheng was now also in the great circle of the Qi Condensation stage.
Qai eventually gave him one of his Foundation Establishment Pill but warned the latter to fully consolidate his cultivation base first before attempting a breakthrough.
Meanwhile, during his aimless stroll on his Guandao, Qai noticed that among the Spirit Beasts in the area, level 3 seemed to have the highest cultivation base. Such revelation made Qai think that his giant Ants seemed to be the true hegemon of the surrounding area.
‘Come to think of it, the Kamaria Island had better spiritual Qi energy than this place. It even has better resources since it can accommodate level 7 Spirit Beast. Perhaps, the only thing that makes that place regressive is the remoteness of the island.’
Of course, what Qai did not know was the fact that what makes a place produce rich spiritual Qi energy was the presence of Spirit Veins.
Unfortunately, the Spirit Veins buried deep in the mountain that he picked for his territory had long been depleted of its spiritual Qi energy.
“And now that Elder Li sealed the island's only access, no other cultivator could enjoy the benefits it could give.”
Qai sighed as he recalled his home.
As he flew on his Guandao, he could observe with his Spiritual Sense small groups of Qi Condensation stage cultivators here and there adventuring in the forest.
In fact, he felt weird when most cultivators would bow to him as he passed above them while respectfully muttering the word ‘Senior.’
It was just like him back when he met Old Bu.
Of course, it was the fact then he could fly on his weapon that immediately made the group of cultivators recognize his abilities ans perhaps mistakenly took him as a Foundation Establishment stage cultivator.
At one point, Qai saw a group of 3 mid-level Qi Condensation stage young cultivators being chased by a herd of level 1 Blood Horses.
When Qai swept his glance at them, he was reminded of the Mo disciples when he first met them since the group consisted of a male and 2 female cultivators. But the cultivators in this group were probably around 14 to 16 years of age.
At first, he did not want to meddle with what was happening until the 3 helpless cultivators called for his help.
“Senior, please save us!”
He didn't know whether he felt some softness in his heart but he decided to give them some assistance.
As he flew down towards the group, he immediately summoned his level 3 Spirit Beast Eland and Ape corpse puppet—both of which were comparable to cultivators in the great circle of the Foundation Establishment stage.
When the herd of Blood Horses felt the strength of the Eland and the puppet, they immediately turned back and fled.
In the end, Qai did not have to do anything.
The mere presence of his Spirit Beast and corpse puppet already intimidated the herd.
On the other hand, the group of Qi Condensation cultivators had their jaws dropped in astonishment. They even forgot to offer their thanks.
However, Qai hastily summoned the Eland and Ape back and did not bother to pay attention to what the 3 young cultivators would say as he simply looked at them meaningfully before he flew away back to his mountain peak.
On his way, Qai sighed at how benevolent he felt.

The Doormat Villainess – Adrianne
A villainess is a character who has always been diametrically opposed to the heroine of a romance drama. What makes a person a good villainess? The fact that she's unabashedly beautiful and charismatic, yet also rotten inside? The fact that she's incredibly loathsome, greedy, and selfish? That she's reasonably strong enough to be a hurdle, yet ultimately powerless in the face of a determined heroine? That despite all these character flaws, a Villainess's greatest virtue is unwilling to give up until the last of their breath, in pursuit of her personal desire? If those are the hallmark of a successful Villainess. Then, I might be the wrong person to play that role. Also on Scribblehub (Profile)

Faeos Book One: The Stuff of Legends
A ragtag assemblage of adventurers, scraped together by seeming circumstance, investigate the theft of an ecologically essential artifact.
