In all games, no matter where you look human beings are the only species which are completely balanced in both elemental and physical attributes. I can see in front of me several types of humans…all them chained….just like all the other creatures…

“Why are they all chained?” I ask.

…checking all other stats for the melee type… an interesting comparison….both Swordsman and Archer have nearly the same specs...but for the extra 10 STR, swordsman costs 1FP.

I wonder if I should take that as my base cost. 10 Stat points (SP) is worth 1 FP. I am sure there is also some relation between rarity of the species and special powers they are endowed with.

“Cricket…is it possible to capture Guardians in the game?” I am reasoning that they are in chains, hence must be found in game…like pokemons?

The cricket didn’t look too happy with my question. “looks like we got ourselves a thinking one this time..” He mutters to himself. He is a really creepy cricket.

“Yes….we capture them in the wild, however we do so with great difficulty. It is a might feat to catch a good creature worthy of being a Guardian. Even if you were to capture a worthy one yourself without the oath of loyalty that we provide you will be unable to control them.”

“Not that it matters….the vampires would kill me anyways….”

“I already told you, they are your guides and allies.”

“But you do provide guardians who will kill their master?”

“It has been decided to let the players choose for themselves. If you believe a manticore won’t kill you, then please be my guest and select it as your guardian.”

I have a huge smile on my face. I don’t need to pick a guardian from here. I can just find one during game play. With this I can pick a powerful species or starting power too. This isn’t my final decision but let’s see…the next one caught my eye.

Before I decided to move on, the female guardian that I had just selected whispered into my ears.

“Please take that man as well.”

I did try to ask her name however at the time she seemed to be most timid and reserved. Her voice was sweet as honey. I wanted to hear her in bed…. *imagination running wild*

To please her, I don't mind taking one more useless person - I can already see it - she is totally falling head over heals for me. The next guardian I take will be a powerful one - I'll make sure! I am ashamed to admit I am weak to (hot) women but then again which man isn't.

“Sora-chan…I advise you against purchasing an old human….they tend to only live as long as their lifespan. That means at best he might be helpful for another 4-26 years…”
