Sora’s POV
If you know the feeling of being electrocuted, then I can save some time by not talking about it. How do I describe this feeling or rather not feeling anything. It’s like a numbness that spreads all across my body.
Had it not been for the slime greasing on me, I am certain that I would have died. I expected the slime greasing to be a bit more resilient however as expected it seems it is more effective when I am in slime mode.
I must say this is a fantastic moment – being knocked out cold let me entered the elusive sleep like state. Even now that I am semi-conscious I still cannot see anything; my eyes are feeling as if they are finally getting to rest after eons.
I wish I could stay like this forever – but I am well aware of my predicament – I guess I can wait five more minutes, it’s not like I get to sleep everyday.
***
Sora’s five minutes extended to thirty minutes. He was completely healed however his eyes didn’t open. At this point his caretaker, a cleric goblin, began fretting.
“I have been watching over this one at least an hour….it’s all healed up…bothersome idiot…troubling the masters like that!” The caretaker muttered. “Kukukuuku…though you will soon learn your place in these matters.”
Sora was wide awake. Furthermore, he completely understood everything the goblin spoke. Sora found this most strange. He was certain that the goblin was speaking in another tongue…yet now he could understand him.. for this and many other reasons Sora continued to pretend to be sleeping. Although, he didn’t know what his current circumstances were Sora was happy resting in a nice comfortable bed – he was clearly in no hurry to get up.
Maybe an ordinary hero / protagonist would pretend to be asleep and then wait for the right opportunity to escape but Sora was different. Sora wasn’t waiting for any opportunity to escape or attack his captor, he was simply enjoying his rest.

Alas, not all good things are never eternal - Sora was thrown off the bed. Quite literally, the sheets were pulled with such a great force that Sora spun in circles before landing on the floor.
Before Sora could even make sense of what happened – he was greeted with the most smelliest shout.
“GEEET UP!!!!!” The voice roared.
Sora trembled as he looked at the source of the voice – a massive orc. The orc in front of him made the orcs in Royal Road look like a whimp. This beast was simply massive. At least twice the size of the orc found in Royal Road and had bull like horns growing out of his skull. What made him particularly terrifying were his monster like teeth. Each tooth was easily as long as Sora’s hand and thick as Sora’s fist.
The monstrous beast barely fit into the room. Too make matters worse, his breath stank beyond imagination. Even Sora who had no nose could smell the stench – which made no sense to Sora. However, the most disgusting bit of it all was the drooling – the beast was drooling on Sora.
Sora was actually thankful he didn’t have a face otherwise it would have portrayed his expression of disgust – which would have probably earned him death.
Sora slowly stood up and began looking around. As he was pretending to be resting he could not move much and didn’t have time to look around in the room – the goblin was keeping quite a strict eye on him. So other than the dingy dark ceiling Sora didn’t get a good view of anything. Thus Sora made sure he quickly…
“WHAAAT LOOOKING AT YOUUUU??” Roared the orc in front of Sora.
“What are you looking at?” Sora spoke out – he dared to do so because he had no voice and only rattled his jaw bones so it wouldn’t earn him any trouble….except for the tiny problem Sora had a voice now.

Sora was shocked when he heard himself speak. [What the hell happened to me since I passed out?] Sora wondered.
The Orc looked at Sora as if he were strange – he didn’t get the fact that Sora had just corrected his English. To the Orc is appeared as if Sora spoke strangely. He paid no heed to Sora – he had met many crazy skeletons since he began working here.
Picking the timid Sora up with one hand the Orc dragged Sora out of the tiny room and into the open.
Sora offered no resistance – he was scared but not frightened. If they had intended to kill him then they wouldn’t have gone through all the trouble of healing him. Hence, there was no need to be afraid. Sora could only guess at this point the many possible things that were awaiting for him in the future and the many possible things that brought him to his current predicament. Rather than thinking over all of this, Sora reached the inescapable conclusion that all would be explained in due time instead he should not waste his time worrying rather take his time to observe his surroundings.
The Orc stepped out a door located at the bottom of a long mud spire. It wasn’t the only mud spire in the area – wherever Sora looked all he could see were tall spires jutting from the ground extending towards the sky…no a false luminescent ceiling. The ceiling had a strange moonlight glow to it that made Sora feel *strangely* alive.
Even though they were located in a large area, Sora could easily make out that everything had been cramped into the formation a circle –the most likely reason being they were inside a worm…As one progressed towards the center there were concentric platforms at lower levels jutting out. Even these platforms supported smaller spires.
Aside from the poor infrastructure and haphazard arrangement of the city, Sora could see plenty of activity. Wherever this was there were plenty of monsters roaming about – getting on with their daily lives. There were many different orcs, jelly fish, undead, grizzlies and other monsters – many of which Sora had never seen before.
Sora gulped in fear: to be taken prisoner here would be a pretty bad situation. Just by seeing the sheer number of monsters Sora was certain that he could not escape from here easily.
Without any warning, the Orc threw Sora ar a group of skeletons walking in front of him. Sora struck them like a bowling ball striking nine pins.
“THIS ONE YOURS! DON’T LOSE NEXT TIME!” He warned the heap of bones. Having said that much, the Orc began to descend the stairs to his right.
The skeletons scowled and cursed behind the Orc’s back. Skeletons hate the pain of having to assemble themselves. Once the Orc disappeared from their view, the skulls shifted their gaze to Sora who was struggling to assemble himself.
*He was the culprit!*
“You why did you make him angry!” One of them asked him.
“We have it rough here! Don’t go about making trouble for us!”
“Which Floor are you from?”
“Whose is your captain? Has the matter been reported to him?”
Sora stared at the skeletons blankly. [Do they all think I am one of their own?]
A devious thought crossed Sora's mind.

The main character is an earth bender how will not use lava or metal bending at all. No other elements will be learned by him. I am using Grammarly with this work. I am at least planning to write the book earth fully. It will take time. Rest you can find by reading. Even harsh comments are welcome. It is nothing new to me. Revenant
Everyone dies. Not everyone gets back up again afterward. The Deep Paths are a cursed place, meant for those similarly cursed souls whom the gods themselves denied the sweet release of death. Revenants haunt the underworld, wielding forbidden powers and often consuming those who lack the strength to join them. At least, that's the story that parents teach their kids up on the surface. Reshid can't remember what he might have done to deserve such a fate, but he learns quickly that there is more to undeath than the gods and their faithful preach to the living. Revenants have a unique connection to essential magics that allows them to develop their powers in extremely diverse ways. Wherever there is power, though, there are those seeking to wield it, whether they be governments and gods from above, or mythical elder races from below.
