*Bam!*

On the northern side of the Ruined city, a devastating battle was occurring.

*BAM!*

An explosion of crimson flames destroyed several dozens buildings and left a huge crater in its place. Someone flew out of the smoke with his clothes burnt, this person was Tang’s father and #1 Apostle, Fang Xian.

“Fang!”

Sasha chased after him with wings made out of black winds on her back.

“What a persistent woman.”

Fang rushed towards her with blood-like water spinning in his palm.

“Bloody Fang!”

He swung his hand and the water formed a giant sickle and rushed at Sasha, who thrust her hand forward and black winds clashed with the attack. Fang’s attack was stronger so Sasha was pushed back. Fang immediately rushed towards her with his claws illuminating a violent red color.

*Bam!*

Before he could reach Sasha, Leon hit him with a fiery kick, which Fang blocked with his arm.

“How many times do I gotta say it?”

Leon twisted his body and hit Fang with another kick.

“Don’t touch my wife!”

*Bam!*

Flames burst out of his leg and forced Fang away.

“And how many times do I have to say it? You two are going to die together!”

Fang accelerated and entered Leon’s range in an instant. Leon aimed a kick at him but he easily avoided it and circled behind him. He than slashed Leon’s back with his claws.

“Ah!”

Leon screamed out in agony as blood gushed from out of his back. Fang grabbed him by his neck and lifted him up to pierce his hand through him.

“!”

He threw Leon away and turned around to block an ice lance that Sasha was thrusting at his head. He broke the lance and clenched his fist.

*Bam!*

He slammed Sasha into the ground with a powerful fist. The force of her hitting the ground was so strong that the ground burst open and buildings around them started crumbling.

“Guah?!”

Sasha’s eyes rolled to the back of her head and all of the air in her lungs was violently expelled.

“Ahh!”

Leon attacked him from behind with a fiery fist, which Fang easily evaded and countered with an uppercut which forced him off the ground. He then quickly spun around and slammed his leg in the center of Sasha’s chest after she tried to sneak attack him.

*Bam!* *Bam!*

The two were forced away in separate directions. Leon landed over 200m away on a building and causing it to crumble, while Sasha crashed through several consecutive buildings before stopping. Only Fang was left standing.

“I’m a Divine Level fighter and you aren’t, yet you hunted me down and tried to kill me. I must admire the extent that you would go for your child but what you’re doing is plain suicide.”

Fang looked towards the south.

“Here’s a fun fact. I sent our location to the son you’re fighting so hard to protect and you know what he did? He ignored it despite knowing that you’re fighting against an opponent that you can’t win against. Isn’t that cold?”

“….Cold?”

Fang saw Leon lift rubble off of him and walked towards him.

“You think that’s cold? That just means that he’s confident in his parents.”

Leon showed a beastly smile.

“And he’s right to be!”

At that moment, Sasha appeared behind Fang all beaten up, with an ice lance in her hand. She thrust it at him which he evaded and then destroyed in an instant. He then grabbed Sasha by her neck.

*Bam!*

She replied by kicking him in the head, but it didn’t seem to have much affect. Fang slammed her head first into the ground.

“What is there for him to be confident for? You aren’t even my match.”

Leon came from the side with a burning kick but was stopped by Fang’s hand. He grabbed his leg and slammed him on ground beside Sasha, while still holding her down by the neck.

“All you’re doing is struggling. Continuing to push yourselves when the outcome is obvious is just insanity.”

“Hahaha!”

Sasha started laughing which perplexed Fang. She showed a bloody smile.

“Who do you think Miko gets it from?”

*Bam!*

She punched him in the side of the head. He replied by punching her in face.

“Is that so? Then you’re-”

Fang’s word was cut short by a sudden spill of dizzy.

“What the?”

“Feeling light headed?”

*Bam!*

Leon kicked him off Sasha and caused his body to bounced off the ground. Leon then helped Sasha up.

(Poison?)

Fang got up and instantly thought of why his body was felt strange.

“I’m an assassin’s daughter. You’re pretty stupid if you didn’t expect me not to have knowledge of poisons.”

Sasha mocked Fang before gathering sinister dark energy in her palm. This was Death Magic.

“Death Ball!”

She rushed towards him and thrust the ball towards him. Fang smiled.

“Unfortunately for you….”

Fang evaded her which caught her off guard.

“I’ve trained my body to be somewhat immune to poison. The fact that I was still affected means that you must’ve used a godly poison.”

*Bam!*

He kicked away Sasha and rushed towards Leon and avoided a hook and hit him with a knee strike to the face. He then hit him with a palm strike to the chin which rattled his brain. Fang then placed his palms on Leon’s chest.

“Dragon Pulse.”

*Bam!*

A crater opened up under Leon from the force created by Fang.

“Guah?!”

Blood gushed out of Leon’s mouth and his body fell backwards, but he was grabbed by the collar by Fang and was used to hit Sasha, who was attacking him from behind.

“I’m a former notorious crime lord. The amount of enemies I have are innumerable. So it’s obvious that I would take countermeasures in the case of me being poisoned. Even if I’m now on the level of a god I don’t believe that I can’t be killed by sneaky means.”

He walked towards them with a cruel smile on his face.

“Your parents are some very dangerous people, so I won’t kill you. Instead, I’ll hold you hostage to ensure that they don’t come after my son after he kills your son. However, I think I need to instill fear so great that you’ll never be able to defy me.”

“….You’ll be wasting your time.”

Sasha lifted the unconscious Leon off her and gently placed him beside her.

“The only man who have been able tame me is my husband and you greatly pale in comparison.”

“I pale in comparison to the man who you’re protecting right now? That’s a riot.”

“Don’t mind him. He’ll be up and running before you know it.”

“Until then, you’re going to take me on?”

“No.”

Cold dark aura started emitting from Sasha.

“I’m going to kill you before he wakes up.”

Fang wanted to laugh but the moment his eyes met with Sasha’s he felt a strange sensation creep up in his heart. The woman in front of him despite being weaker than him had a frightening presence like a ice cold dragon.

“I guess you’re really Nero and Kimiko’s daughter.”

He took a fighting pose.

“Let’s see what you can do when you’re alone, Sasha Dragna.”

“Don’t blink now. You don’t want to miss how you died.”

Sasha rushed forward like a bullet and Fang did the same.

“Winter Scythe!”

An ice scythe appeared in Sasha’s hand. She swung it at Fang who leaped over it and aimed a stomp at her head. Sasha ducked under it, spun around and swung her scythe at him. Fang swung his claws and clashed with the scythe.

*Bam!*

An explosive sound rang out as the claws clashed with the scythe. The two took a step back and then leaped at each other. Fang thrust his claws at Sasha’s chest, which she blocked with the hilt of her scythe before spinning it and slashing at his head. Fang ducked under it and tried to gouge out her heart. She stepped to the side and leaped forward while positioning her scythe behind her. Fang had bend his back to avoid getting decapitated.

(This woman, she has amazing fighting sense!)

Fang had to jump over a low sweep by Sasha’s scythe. He then swung his leg up and swung it down to deliver an axe kick.

*Bam!*

His heel caught Sasha’s shoulder and caused her body to collapse to the ground.

“Got her!”

Fang aimed a kick to finish her off.

“Mist Dispersion.”

Sasha suddenly disappeared leaving mist surrounding Fang. The mist turned into multiple Sashas who were all wielding scythes.

“Fang Storm”

Fang spun around and scarlet sickles spread out and cut all of the Sashas to pieces. They even went as far as cutting up every building in a 1 mile radius.

“……..”

Fang was now out of the mist and all alone.

*Bam!*

Suddenly Sasha burst out from out of the ground and slashed him with her scythe. Blood sprayed from his chest, but that blood instantly frozen along with the wound. Fang felt a freezing sensation spread through his body and quickly targeting his organs. He countered it by concentrating his energy at eliminating the invading ice. This took a mere instant but in that instant Sasha was already following up with another attack. She came for his head and was mere centimeters from taking it.

“Fang Storm!”

Another storm of sickles rushed forth, this time cutting Sasha to pieces. That Sasha however disappeared like a mirage. Fang looked around and saw her some distance away from him.

She silently started at him with a fierce gaze.

“You’re indeed the daughter of an assassin. You’re a natural.”

Sasha didn’t reply and rushed towards Fang again.

“Looks like capturing her is out of the question.”

Fang took a step forward.

“I’ll just go for the kill and call it a day.”

*Bam!* *Bam!* *Bam!*

“Ugh?!”

Several large cuts appeared over Sasha’s body which resulted in her blood spraying into the air.

“No more playing around.”

Fang started walking towards Sasha who was covered in cuts. She saw two scarlet sickles appear on his arms. The sickles looked like they could decapitate a god.

“Time’s up. Prepare to die.”

“You took the words out of my mouth.”

Fang looked to his side and saw Leon walking towards him.

“So you’re back up?”

“Sasha, are you okay?”

“I’m fine. I was just about to finish him off. Forget that, were you successful?”

“Of course.”

Fang was puzzled by their conversation. He then saw Sasha put away her scythe.

“That’s good. Then I can finally go all out without care since you’ll be backing me up.”

A beastly smile appeared on her face.

“Go all out? Are you implying that you were holding back against me, a Divine Level fighter?”

“Well, unlike me my husband needs to mentally prepare himself before he can go all out. He has anger issues after all. I can’t afford for him to go berserk on me.”

Fang was once again confused. After thinking about for a bit he remember Sasha stating that Leon will be up before he knew it.

(So he wasn’t out cold but was actually preparing something?)

A smile appeared on his face.

“It better be worth it if you put your wife’s life on the line.”

“Oh, don’t worry. It’s worth it.”

Crimson aura started leaking out of Leon’s body and Fang could feel the temperature skyrocket. He looked at Leon and was shocked to see that his eyes were completely crimson, even his cornea. It was like the flames of hell were trapped inside his eye sockets. His crimson hair started moving like it was a raging flame and a fiery aura surrounded his body to the point it seemed like he was a made of flames.

“Hm?”

That’s when Fang feel a chilling cold coming from behind him. He turned around and saw Sasha surrounded by a frosty aura of death. He then saw the ground at her feet started being covered by a black ice. The image of a reaper riding a rotting dragon appeared behind her.

“………”

With Sasha on the left and Leon in the right, Fang could feel that the odds were slowly turning against his favor. Even so, he didn’t try to stop either of them. He felt a strange excitement towards fighting them at their full strength.

“It looks like I retired too early. I forgot about how fun fighting can be.”

His body started changing as he grew larger and became covered in scales. He turned into an azure Dragonman with scarlet sickles on his arms.

“I’ll take you on! So come at me with the intention of dying!”

He roared at the top of his limbs. In response, Sasha and Leon underwent transformations of their own.

Sasha’s skin became fair like snow, her hair became white with black endings, and her pupils became white while her cornea was a dark as the night. She was wearing a white medieval style armored suit with black dragon cravings on it. As for Leon, a crimson and gold flame-themed armor appeared on his body, while demon-like wings appeared on his back.

“Hel Knight.”

“Flame Devil.”

Sasha and Leon conjured weapons a black white lance and a crimson and gold claymore in their hands respectively.

*BAM!*

The area around them drastically joined. Sasha was in a world of black ice, while Leon was in a fiery world of hell. Standing between these two worlds was Fang who was in a blood-colored circle in the center. A beastly grin was on his face as he gestured for the two to come at him, and that they did.

Sasha and Leon came from both sides carrying a blizzard and hell storm with them. Scarlet aura rushed out of Fang’s body and welcomed them. They thrust their weapons at him without fear.

*BOOM!*

An explosion of flames and black ice swallowed up the three of them.

“Hahahaha!”

Fang laughed as he flew out of the explosion and slammed his fist into Sasha’s stomach. She didn’t back down and elbowed him in the side of the head. Leon then came from behind and slashed him with his burning sword. Fang laughed and slashed him with his sickles arm and cut through his armor. Leon didn’t mind and came at him again with a sword thrust.

*Bam!*

A pillar of flames hit Fang and forced him away. The flames moved like a serpent and flung him up in the air.

*Slash!*

A scarlet sickle split the flame pillar down the middle freeing Fang. The sickles on his arms started glowing.

“Fanged World!”

He swung his arms and scarlets sickles covered the sky to the point that the same sky itself seemed scarlet. All these sickles rushed down towards Sasha and Leon.

“I call upon the powers of Niflheim.”

The ground started rumbling when Sasha spoke.

“Raise once again!”

*Bam!*

The ground burst opened and several rotting arms stuck out from underneath. Scores of undead beings started emerging out of the ground one by one. They jumped into the air and began sticking together and quickly formed a giant undead monster. The monster stood before Sasha and Leon and blocked the scarlet sickles with his body. Body parts started raining down on the two but they didn’t mean.

“Raising the dead? As expected of Hel’s granddaughter….Hm? Is it getting hotter?”

Fang looked around and noticed that there weren’t any shadows. That meant that the area had gotten considerably brighter.

“Wait…”

He looked up and was shocked to see the sun falling towards the ground.

“That’s no sun! That’s a huge ass fireball!”

The fireball fell on top of him without him having the chance to defend himself. The fireball quickly forced him to the ground and exploded. Fiery waves spread through the city and destroyed countless buildings and other structures. It was like a divine punishment from the gods.

“Wow, just how much anger did you have to stir up to do that?”

Sasha asked Leon.

“I just thought about how he’s been hitting you and this was the result.”

“….Turning your anger into power was the best thing you’ve ever learnt.”

(But I think you have some serious anger issues.)

Sasha thought to herself.

“Hahahaha!”

They heard a mad laugh come from the center of the flame sea caused by Leon’s attack. They saw a badly burnt Fang walking out of the flames with a grin on his face.

“I take back what I said about your husband, Sasha. He’s quite something.”

He said.

“How about we take this up a notch?”

The Apostle Crest on Fang’s hand started glowing and power started flowing into his body.

“He’s gotten stronger again.”

Sasha mumbled.

“Then we just have to get stronger as well. But since we aren’t that adapt to using Tiamat’s power we’ll have overcome this with our own strength.”

A beastly smile appear on their faces.

“We must show the world were Miko gets it from.”

Said Sasha.

“The Apple doesn’t fall that far from the tree, huh?”

*BAM!*

A hellish aura started pouring out of Leon’s and Sasha’s body. It looked like they were one step from being evil gods. The area was split in two; on one side, even the ground was scorched and looked it was going to turn into lava. On the other side, it was like a scene where a blizzard was ravishing the underworld. Black ice and undead beings could be seen all over. Seeing these two pushing past their limits and become stronger made Fang excited.

“Let’s who will win!”

Sasha and Leon rushed toward him while he shouted.

“A god or two gods in the making! This is the battle of the century!”

He charged at them and they clashed causing an eruption of flames, ice, and slashes. Fang’s voice still resounded.

“Stay tune!”
