《Young Adversary》279th Adversary: The Battle Of Beasts

Somewhere in the world. Jin Makoto was walking through a savanna.
“!”
He leaped to the side and witnessed where he stood before implode.
“Dammit, they really aren’t letting us rest.”
The earth cracked open underneath him and started levitating. He looked around and the whole savanna was broken into pieces and was floating in the air. Jin’s body transformed into a gray beam and flew over the floating savanna and headed towards a woman holding a purple sword. This woman was Bloom. She kicked off the ground and clashed with the gray beam with her sword. An explosion erupted in the middle of the savanna, destroying most of it.
“How long have they been fighting?”
Jin and Bloom’s battle was being watched on a monitor by two people. The one who asked the question was Tiana Draxler. She looked at the person beside her. It was Mari, who was supposed to be on the Beast Continent.
“It’s approaching 8 hours.”
“Have them switch opponents after an hour’s rest. Jin will fight Shòuxíng, have Bloom take on Isabel from the Luna Family.”
Mari nodded.
“Jin and Shòuxíng lost to Miko because they had been slacking off didn’t properly train their abilities. We’ll have them fight nonstop until they’re comfortable enough with their powers that they can use them in their sleep. After that, we’ll take it to the next level.”
“As for Silver Crow, they’re nowhere near as strong as Bloom, Shòuxing, and Jin but they have strong determination. We’ll use that and put them through special training to maximize their limited potential and even push beyond it to create a team of super soldiers and give them to Bloom to lead.”
“So they’ll all remain in MYTH?”
Tiana shook her head.
“Shòuxíng and that girl Hana will be under my command. I planned for them to form a team within Genesis with Andre and have Jun supervise them in the future, but I’ve changed my mind. I’m gonna form a team centered around the two of them. If Shòuxíng doesn’t feel like he has some power over himself then he’ll be anxious.”
She looked at Mari.
“What’s your plan for Jin?”
“The Kaiser said that he’ll return as my bodyguard after his training. I’ll still allow him to work closely with Silver Crow though. They can keep his heart from breaking.”
“You still care a lot about him, I see.”
Mari nodded.
“By the way, what’s the status on the Beast Continent? Have they made contact with my cousin yet?”
“Yes. By borrowing unit #3864’s eyes, I can see Chao Tian getting ready to fight him.”
“Devil Ape is a satanic beast born from my uncle Devoro, Chao Tian has balls to challenge it alone.”

Tiana smirked.
“Well, I’ll admit that he does have the qualifications.”
Meanwhile, Chao Tian and the others were confronting the deadly monster Devil Ape.
“What’s this? I’m actually being challenged?”
Devil Ape sat on his throne and spoke with surprise.
“There’s a limit to how arrogant someone can be, little ant?”
He laughed.
“Enough talk. Are you going to fight or are you too scared?”
Chao grinned. Devil Ape stopped laughing.
“I see. So you’re one of those people.”
His gaze sharpened on Chao.
“The type of person who’ll only learn how to be humble after death.”
He lifted his gigantic arm and swung it in front of him while remaining seated.
*BOOM!*
A storm was instantly generated by the handwave and it slammed against Chao and the others. No, calling it a storm was an understatement. It was like Devil Ape created a hurricane with a wave of his hand. Yet, Chao didn’t flinch in the least.
“Oh?”
This impressed Devil Ape.
“I guess you aren’t all talk. But I still have no interest in fighting a bug.”
Chao disappeared and reappeared in front of Devil Ape.
“I’m not a bug.”
He floated in front of his opponent with a bold grin.
“You didn’t try to sucker punch me? You’re either cool-headed or smart.”
“Neither. I’m just that confident.”
He drew his arm back.
“I only attack people from the front.”
His grinned widened.
“I’m going to punch you in the face.”
“Go ahead.”
Devil Ape laughed dismissively.
“If you’re able to force me off this throne I’ll fight you.”
“Remember, you’re the one who said it.”
Chao threw a punch towards Devil Ape’s face. Chao’s fist caused Devil Ape’s face to sink in and he was blown out of his seat and crashed into the end of the valley and shook everything around them.
“No mercy as always.”
Mari laughed.
“Hey, I think we better start retreating before we get killed.”
Alexis urged his companions.
“I’m way ahead of you!”
He looked behind him and saw Drake running for his life. They all started to retreat one by one, leaving Chao alone. Chao ignored them and smiled in the direction where he sent Devil Ape flying.
*BOOM!*
The cliffs overlooking the valley suddenly crumbled and Devil Ape walked out of the dust clouds clapping his hands.
“Impressive. Truly impressive.”
He looked around at his valley that was now in rubbles.
“Look what you did to my kingdom. You’ll have to pay for that.”
“Is that so?”
Chao started walking towards him.
“That’s right.”
Devil Ape started walking towards him as well.
“How much?”
“Your life isn’t enough. Maybe I’ll destroy your entire bloodline.”

The two started to sprint at the same time.
“Destroy it if you can, Satan!”
Chao leaped forward with a roar.
“Watch me, Ant!”
Devil Ape did the same. The two met midair and threw punches.
*BOOM!*
Shockwaves created from their clash traveled for miles and flattened everything around them. The two jumped back and charged towards each other again. Devil Ape swung his giant claws, Chao swung his leg. Chao was blown away with his body spinning in the air. Devil Ape popped up above him and swung down his gigantic arms like a hammer. Chao was slammed into the ground and caused meters thick cracks to appear in the earth.
Devil Ape aimed a stomp at him while wearing a savage grin. Chao quickly sprung to his feet and lifted both arms into the air. He grabbed Devil Ape’s feet and stopped his stomp. He slammed Devil Ape on the ground, lifted him, and slammed him on the ground again. Every time his body hit the ground it caused an earthquake.
“Not bad.”
Devil Ape twisted his body and threw Chao off him.
“I had a nasty creak in my neck, your attack just fixed it for me.”
“Is that so?”
A huge amount of magic power surged from out of Chao’s body.
“Then how about I fix a couple more for you!”
He shot forward like an arrow and threw a punch. Devil Ape yawned and lifted one finger. A thunderclap resounded and an abyssal crater opened up underneath them.
“Is that all?”
Devil Ape smirked at Chao who he stopped with a single finger.
“Don’t be absurd.”
“Hm?”
It was then Devil Ape noticed that his finger was being bent towards him.
“Oh?”
His eyes slightly widened when cracking sounds reached his ears.
“Clench your teeth.”
Devil Ape’s entire arm bent backward and Chao’s fist smashed into his face. With an explosive sound, Devil Ape was forced to take a step back. Chao started hopping in one spot whilst in a boxing stance.
“Consecutive jabs.”
Chao hit Devil Ape with 12 lightning-fast jabs in a second, with each jab sounding like rolling thunder. Devil Ape had to take another step back.
“I’m about to take this up to another notch.”
Chao took a step forward and as if he multiplied, dozens of Chao Tians attacked Devil Ape from every direction. Devil Ape’s body swayed all over the place as Chao rained down devastating attacks on him.
“That’s enough.”
Devil Ape reached out and grabbed Chao’s fist.
“I thought that you could entertain me but you're really nothing but an ant.”
He lifted Chao by his arm and slammed him on the ground. He ripped Chao’s arm off and threw it into his mouth and ate it.
“Well, I suppose you’ll do as a meal.”
He laughed as he chewed on Chao’s arm. Before he could react, Devil Ape grabbed Chao and threw him into his mouth and ripped him apart with his fangs.
“Oi, Devil Ape just ate Chao!”
Victoria screamed while watching the fight from afar.
“It’s a good thing that we left when we did.”
Everyone nodded at Alexis’s words.
“Now that ‘Chao’ has been defeated the real Beast Rebelling Against The Heavens is about to enter the fray.”
“Hm? He lost already.”
Devil Ape suddenly heard a voice appeared behind him. He turned around and saw Chao standing there with a deadpan expression.
“What the?”
Devil Ape stopped chewing and put his hand in his mouth. He took out a long piece of silver hair.
“….I see. You’re Sun Wukong’s proxy.”
“………”
Chao didn’t answer and just looked at him.
“All this time, I was just fighting a clone that had a fraction of your strength?”
Sun Wukong can clone himself by using strands of his hair. These clones are far weaker than the original. The Chao Tian that the current world knew was only a weaker version with a fraction of the original’s strength. After he became a Deicider using a small amount of his strength, he became Sun Wukong's proxy and made a clone take his place while he trained for the day he can terrorize the heavens again. This Chao, who could fight any Higher Being to the end, stood in front of Devil Ape, who slaughtered countless pantheons and made them forgotten from this world.
A match up like this could've caused the world 10,000 years ago the dim in fear, much less now.
"Heh."
Devil Ape grinned at Chao.
“Original or clone, your both just ants in front-”
“Silence monkey.”
The air felt heavy.
“I’m different from the Chao you faced earlier.”
Devil Ape suddenly felt a great sense of danger come over him when he met Chao’s gaze. A savage grin crawled onto his face.
“Looks like I’ll be able to have fun after all.”
He kicked off the ground.
“Let’s go, Chao Tiān! Show me your true power!”
“I was intending to do that from the start.”
Chao charged towards him as well. The Monstrosities poured all their strength in their fists and threw a punch.
That day, a two-man war broke out between Chao Tian and Devil Ape. This war would go down in history as the prelude to New Era’s Reign.

Bloody Hell
Alan Maxwell has one exceptional talent. He can read peoples body language and micro expressions so well that, in many cases it's not hard for him to fake being psychic. When a foreign agency decides that said talent would make him an exceptional spy, events quickly begin to spiral out of control. With enemies on all sides, and friends that will as soon kill each other as his enemies, Alan will have to put his skills to the test in the ultimate game of cat and mouse. ===I came up with this story in response to a question. I once asked someone why there weren't really any Yandere harems. I realize that the answer to that is 'everyone dies' but thats boring so... here we are. A story I came up with explicitly as an excuse to create a harem entirely out of obsessive psychopathic axe murderers. Or in other words - "What happens to Bond girls when they disappear?"As a warning, there are sex scenes. Its tagged. I'll leave an authors note at the top of any chapter that has them if you'd prefer to skip it.
