I stared, stunned at what I saw. This… thing hadn’t even removed his prick from Mom’s lifeless body since before the battle started. Her head lay nearby, forced to watch with vacant eyes as this monster had defiled her corpse! This living pile of refuse hadn’t even the slightest level of decency in him! Every second that passed filled me with more rage, more anger, more hatred towards this testament to the depth that humanity could sink to.

“Oh, is this your mother? Do you mind watching for a bit longer?” Prince Edwin sneered, still pounding away without even a care to the fate of his subordinates. In fact, it was almost as if he hadn’t noticed the battle that took place to defend him or the numerous 7-foot-tall, heavily armed war machines that surrounded him.

“Before you even think of hurting me, you piece of garbage, know that I am Crown Prince Edwin Desmond Richard Magnus Kyrellis of the Kingdom of Kyrell! Your fate is already sealed due to your unwarranted and unprovoked attack on my servants, but if you yield unconditionally to me and forfeit your golems to me then I may let you live as a sex-doll in my pleasure palace!”

Prince Edwin talked big but was all the while still balls deep in Mom’s cadaver. I had had enough.

“Detain him”

“Yes, Sir!” A cry rose out from the Mobile Suit Golems as they pulled the barely clothed prince to his feet.

“Unhand me! This is treason! Treason! You miserable cretins live and die by the will of your betters! You should be thanking me that I let you become Experience for my men!”

I was getting close to bursting a blood vessel. As much as I wanted him to suffer, I also wanted to shut him up for good.

I couldn’t read the expressions on my MSGs, but I could somehow tell that they shared my rage towards this demon in human guise. I didn’t want to look at him any longer, so I began to walk towards Mom’s body and head.

“You! You won’t get away with this! You will suffer as no one has suffered!”

“Don’t you see…?”

“Huh?”

I turned my face to glare at him over my shoulder with a look that could kill a god.

“I already have. Now, it’s your turn to feel my pain. I have lost nearly everything because of you. Rejoice, Dark Prince, for you won’t live long enough to see what kind of message I send to your next of kin using your remains. Everyone, do as you will with him. Just make it slow, painful and leave him unrecognizable.”

To Prince Edwin, the gravity of his situation was at last beginning to set in and he began to look more and more ragged as his fear turned to terror and finally to despair.

“You… You can’t… I… I am going to rule this land! No! I refuse! You can’t do this! I… I demand to be ransomed as nobility should be!” Prince Edwin pleaded, desperately trying to invoke the fact that after battle, nobles who were captured were more valuable alive than dead.

I looked to the heavens and let out the kind of laugh you would expect from an insane psychopath, rater than a 6-year-old child.

“Do you HONESTLY think I am naive enough to think I could survive selling you back to your family?! You little shit! You think that I will give you the chance to return home, build up a force that I can’t stop and kill me?! You could have targeted any other village, but you chose poorly and now you must pay the price for your actions. If the kingdom wants vengeance, they will have to come after me without you. But in all honesty; I think the king is going to be a little more preoccupied with the fact that since he has no other children the rest of the nobles are going to make a mad dash for the throne! Is it just me, or do I smell a civil war brewing?”

At this point I had completely lost it. I knew that by killing this son of a bitch that I would become public enemy number one for the Kyrellian Kingdom and all of it’s allies. I knew that the civil war that would come about from this asswipe’s death would kill countless innocents, many who were just trying to live a quiet life just like I had done. I knew that I would have to flee across the western border to Kyrell’s rival state, the Kingdom of Grellek. I knew all of this, but at this point I was too unstable to care and to angry to let this damn shitstain go without sending his soul to Hell in a handbasket.

I walked over to Mom’s head and closed her eyes and then walked to the burned-out husk of my family home. I went to the corner where I had slept in my straw bed since I had left the crib and cried myself to sleep.

Meanwhile, the remaining Mobile Suit Golems had conducted a show-trial of the naked Prince Edwin and after many seconds of fierce deliberation the sentence was handed down by the jury; Guilty! The now crying and panicked Edwin was forced to dig graves for all the villagers with his bare hands and was finally killed using a new weapon that had been unlocked due to the fighting. Edwin died in agony and fear first due to Heat Weapons were used to torture him slowly and then quickly as G-3 Nerve Gas killed was unleashed around him, his corpse was then lit alight by multiple flamethrowers and once the flames died down he was hacked and then stomped to tiny pieces. His head was removed and stuck on one of his banners which had the words painted in his blood that read, “Death Comes For All Enemies”.
