The big 50 milestone yay!

I can’t believe I have written so much.

I have been re-reading everything that I wrote while on the bus. Sometimes I find small errors, but I can’t correct them on my cellphone. I try to remember and fix them, but I never remember what was wrong. This annoys the hell out of me.

Chapter 51- Ex

***July 5th, 965 A.F.***

“Where is she? I guess it was my fault I didn’t specify the time that we were meeting.”

I was waiting in front of the adventurer’s guild for the whole morning, and I have yet to see the shadow of Wyn. Beside me, was a wagon with canopy pulled by a pair of oxen. Its look was reminiscent of the one in “Oregon Trail.” I packed the insides of the wagon was a few daily necessities and then fill it to the brim with barrels of my pride and joy, Belhern Whiskeys.

“HEY FRANCIS!”

Be calm, be cool, Ajax. She is a player. I am an NPC. She is just having some fun. You have no choice if you want to spend my time at the Royal Academy with Cecilia. Breath in, breath out. Breath in, breath out. You can do this without bursting a vein. Just calm down. She is a shotakon, so I need to act cute. Cute child mode activate. I waved at Wyn with my best impression of an enthusiastic child.

“Hi, big sister Wyn. Are you ready to go?”

“I am waiting for a friend to come with me. She would be arriving in about an hour. Want to grab lunch first or do you want to wait here? It will be my treat.”

“I would love to have lunch first, but big sister Wyn is already escorting me for free. I would feel terrible if you have to treat me lunch too.”

I can’t owe her to many favors. I feel that my dwarven virginity is at risk if I owe her anymore.

“Ok. In that case, you can pay, and I will treat it as the payment for escorting you.”

I asked Frank the adventurer’s guild master to look after the wagon while we walked to Dan’s Diner, which was just a stone’s throw away. I sat down and immediately ordered a lamb chop since I know what is the best dish at this restaurant. She had the same dish as I did since she did not have any idea what to order. I thought elves were vegetarian according to the old mythology. You learn something new every day. Soon, a waiter brought out a plate of sizzling lamb chop and placed it in front of us. We began to talk while we eat.

“This lamb chop is amazing, thanks for recommending it to me.”

“Miss Wyn, can I ask you something.”

“Yes?”

“Why are you helping me without getting paid? I am a bit worried about my safety since I was taught that there is no such thing as free lunch in this world by my father.”

“What a well thought out question! You are sooooooooooooooooo cute trying to act like an adult!”

She ruffled my hair. I had to force myself to smile and hold my urge to scream at her. I am seriously considering committing MPK once we hit the road. Afterall, escort missions were notorious for dumb NPCs.

“Well, I was heading back to the elf territories anyway, and I am in no need of any rewards. I might not look like it, but I come from a very influential background. My family is very well off. Does that answer satisfy you?”

“So you are some elven princess or noble?”

“Something like that, but I can’t tell you the details. It’s a lady's secret. Now that I answered your question, it’s only fair that I ask you one.”

“Ok. That sounds fair. What is it?”

“Why did your parents let you go on this trip? Aren’t they worried about you?”

“Of course, they are worried about me. However, they said that this is the only way I would grow into a decent dwarf. My turn to ask. Why do you keep calling me Francis? My name is Ajax.”

She had a good laugh at my expense before answering me.

“It’s an elvish inside joke. Even if I explain it to you, you won't get it anyway. It’s big sisters turn to ask. Do you have someone that you like?”

“I do! Her name is Cecilia. I am doing this so that I can earn enough money to go to the Royal Academy together!”

“So you have a little girlfriend. Good for you!”

“My turn. Are you strong?”

“Of course, I am. I am a top notch adventurer and a mage to boot.”

“You can use magic? I thought you were a warrior of some sort since you carry a bow and a sword.”

“I am a multi-class. What’s in the barrel?”

“Whiskey.”

“Whiskey? Can I try some?”

“Only if you teach me how to use magic.”

“I am not supposed to teach NP… I mean dwarves magic, though. Ah! I know what to do.”

She took out a large dark purple tome from the bag that she was carrying. The bag seems to be something similar to my ring of holding as there was no way that the tome would have fit. After she had taken it out, she put it on the table and winked at me.

“Oops, I seemed to have misplaced this introductory book to learn magic.”

“Thank you, big sister! I will give you a whole barrel as thanks.”

“On top of that, you have to let me hug you whenever I want during the trip.”

“I have a girlfriend already!”

“It’s just hugs. You are just too cute for me to pass up the chance to hug you.”

I weighed the pros and cons in my mind for a bit, and I finally made my decision. I'm sorry my dear Cecilia. For the sake of learning magic, Wyn has made me her play thing. I can’t be a bride anymore.

“Fine. Only If you stop calling me Francis and call my real name.”

“EEEEEEEEEEE!”

She immediately jumped up from her chair glomped me from behind. Although I was annoyed, I felt a bit guilty since her boobs resting on my head feels kind of nice.

I went over the route that I planned with Wyn and asked for her opinion. She suggested a different road that I planned since the original route were a bit more dangerous due to denser monster population. I decided to listen to her since she has more experience than I do. We talked a bit more about the trip such as lodging and food supply. It was about an hour before we finished our lunch and headed back to the adventurer’s guild.

“When is your friend going to come?”

“Soon. She’s very busy.”

Another woman? I hope she is not a shotakon as well. If she is, I know for a fact that I am getting kidnapped, and I need to escape from them.

“Speaking of the devil. There she is. FIN OVER HERE!”

She was waving at another female elf with long black hair that was walking towards us. She wore a dark green robe that clung to her figure. She was carrying a cane, so I assume that her main class is some sort of magician. Her slender body was in perfect proportion, and she doesn’t seem to have a single millimeter of extra fat. I think I know her. She looks familiar. Where have I seen her before? As she walked closer, I finally realized where I saw her before.

She was Valery, my ex-girlfriend.

Aewyn have access to both worlds . The one that we live in which is the west server, which had deadpool in it.

The one that Ajax is in is the east server, which the world ended before dead pool happened, which is why he didn't get the reference.

Didn't he fall over in his chair & hit a nail in the wall just as the world hit 10 Billion people, followed by dying to Smaug as his 2nd death? :) may be mistaken though so don't quote me 100%

There was some changes to that part cuz after thinking about it long and hard, the 10 billion people thing was just stupid. I changed it to "He became bugged when he died during a server update/new patch and content."
