“What? Zulu is dead?” The Panam branch manager threw his glass on the floor as he shouted.

The servant was kneeling in front of him, shaking. “We found his corpse at the East side of the town. His throat was slit open by a sharp weapon. The culprit should be the kid with that dagger on him. What should we do, Boss!”

Fuming with rage, the manager said, “Bring five people to track that fucking kid and bring him to me! If you can’t even catch a level 0 kid, I will be the one fucking kill you!”

“Y-Yes, Boss!”

“I give you 10 days. Remember, I want him alive.” His eyes flashed with a cold glint.

Back to Panam forest

“Damn it!” Lucien grumbled as he got up. He thought his plan was perfect but he was still hit in the end triggering his title effect.

Not being sure if there was more coming for him, he quickly looted the dead guy stuff and continue heading east.

Every time he encountered a monster, he used Misleading skill and ran away.

He continued for a few hours before stopping as the sun was almost set.

Making sure no one following him, he climbed up the tree and checked his loots.

“Wow, this guy is generous!”

In his pouch, there were actually ten potions and gold coins! What a rich guy!

The potion of this world had no grade showing if you used Appraisal. The grades depended on how much the potion can recover. For example, this 500 points recovery was a normal grade one. As to how many grade are there, Lucien didn’t know. The most expensive one he saw in the shop could recover 1500 points.

Whatever, these potions were already too much for him to use.

What excited him the most were not these potions, nor coins, but the sword!

“So OP!” Lucien couldn’t help but cried out in joy. The attack power was even more than his max health points! Moreover, it gave him a total of 21 stats. “A Rare rank sword! waa~”

Apart from this sword, there was no other equipment. The man probably never thought he would even need to fight a level 0 kid so he didn’t wear any armor.

Although he needed to learn how to use a sword, considering the high attack power, Lucien chose to change his main weapon. It didn’t mean he would throw away his dagger. As a dagger was still better in term of sneak attack after all.

He spent his time playing with a sword for a few hours before he checked his status.

His skill level rose so much that his eyes almost popped out seeing the amount of PP he got. He had a total of 118 PP!

Spending 9 PP, he finished off the true acting path right away.

Lucien checked the skills detail.

Concealment ® lv1 : You can conceal both your body and equipments from the others five senses. The skill can only be used when you are not locked by others sense. Cost : 20 mana per use

Eyes of the Truth Seeker ® lv1 : Upgrade your eyesight, you can see through most object and detect existences. Cost : 1 mana per second

“Sigh~ The skills are so good that I could only sigh at my luck.” Lucien started spouting nonsense again.

“The only shortcoming is that the levels are still too low. How can I level up this eye skill?”

He activate Eyes of the Truth Seeker and looked around. His dark surrounding turned brighter with his new eyes. He could see a few bees sleeping in the tree around 50 meters away from him.

Feeling satisfied after 5 minutes, Lucien saw his skill leveled up by one. “I see.”

Next, he looked at the path available to him. He still had 110 PP.

Available Path: Abyss Traveler 0/50, Luck Path 0/60, Surpasser Path 0/250, Apprentice Path 0/50, Empower I 0/100, Dagger Mastery I Path 0/50

Same reason, Traveler seemed useless and Surpasser would take too many points. Although it looked like he could get PP easily, it was not. The fact was that most of his PP was ‘kind-heartly’ contributed by three people he killed. If he were to normally trained, it would absolutely be much less.

He ruled Dagger Mastery out as he was about to change his weapon to sword. He still had not decide which weapon would be his main in the future so he didn’t want to put PP in any weapon mastery path first.

What’s left are Empower I, Luck and Apprentice. He wanted to go on Luck path first but for safe, Empower was the best choice as it would directly increase his fighting power.

In conclusion, he would completed Empower right away and Luck would be next. As for apprentice, it seemed too bland…

Apart from completion rewards, this path gave him stats every 10 PP, a sumptuous amount of 10 free stats, 10 health points, 10 stamina points, 5 health regen, 5 stamina regen, 4 strength and 4 agility.

As for free stats, he put 5 into agility and another 5 into endurance.

With 10 PP leftover, he put them in Luck Path. First reward was exactly at 10 PP.

A sudden exhaustion overwhelmed him. Lying comfortably, Lucien closed his eyelids. He had a feeling that with his new skills and a few tricks, the so called 2nd class could be killed by him just spending some energies.

That’s right, he started to grow arrogant, not knowing how bleak his days will be from tomorrow onward.
