I decided to look through the abilities I'd mastered and see you what additional effects I can gain. The first one was.

Immunity to outside control: Description. This ability when mastered allows you to ignore all forms of mind control and body manipulation from external sources. This ability has two choices. Number one, you can turn off and on at will. Number two, any mind control or body manipulation directed towards you will back to the sender causing them mental pain.

I decided to go with the second ability. It would keep people out of my head and would hopefully tell me when somebody was attempting it.

Electronic manufacturing: this ability allows you to manufacture anything so long as you have a copy of its blueprint. Choose one of the additional effects.

Number 1. You gain the ability to make new blueprints and design your own creation.

Number 2. Your creations have a better understanding of themselves and will be able to self-repair without needing outside assistance. Creations will regenerate 10% of their durability every 24 hours.

Number 3 you have a better understanding of what you're creating, and all creations will have 20% increase durability

I chose option one because anything that broke could be dismantled and rebuilt within seconds. And having the ability to make upgrades you things would automatically have a hired durability than just 20%.

Programming mastery: This ability allows you to make rudimentary, AI for any device. Choose one additional effect.

Number 1.You'll be able to build AI's with the ability to slowly gain their own personality. Warning these AI's have a chance of not obeying orders. But also increase the ability to problem solve and take the initiative without commands.

Number 2.You will be able to build AI's that are much more loyal. Warning these AI's are considerably less intelligent than the current AI you make.

I chose option one because, Okay, I just really wanted to make them smarter.

Those were the only three that had the Mastery status. I also needed to experiment with the dungeon core abilities, Since I didn't have them before. The first ability I pulled up was the Creator of life.

Creator of life: this ability allows you to re-create any creatures that were fed to your core previously. The current number of known monsters or animals is 0.

Well crap, I don't have anything living to feed the core right now. I need to pick something up when I take the infiltrator out to the town.

I can't use any of the other dungeon abilities without destroying the ship or making the crew into slaves.

I heard a noise and turned to the medical beds. Carol was slowly setting up, holding her head.

"aaaawww my eyes are killing me." She looked up and glanced across the room. "Okay, why are there text boxes floating in the air?"

Cray,

"I guess you have access to the HUD as well. Look at your hands and thinks statistics."

She looked down at her hands and said. There's a floating text box hovering in front of me that has a bunch of my information on it. How does it know what my middle name is I haven't told anybody what my middle name is?

Cray

"Does it say what you're current level is?"

Carol

"Yes, it says I'm a level 8 healer and that I have the ability to cast something called diagnose. As well as close range light healing. You know what any of this is."

Cray

"Yes, I think this is how I was able to summon those spider drones from thin air."

Carol walked over to Steve and said "I wonder if I can cast healing on him" Carol put her hands over Steve's head and her hands started to glow with a pale light.

Steve suddenly sat up, bumping his head against Carol's hand. Steve had dark hair and brown eyes. Standing at 173 cm tall with a skinny frame. He also had fairly light skin and weighed 72 kg.

Steve

What just happened.

Carol

"Does your head hurt or anything else?

Steve

"no, I feel great. Nothings in pain. Why do you ask?"

Carol

"look at your hand and think statistics. It will explain everything there."Carol then walked over to Andrew And told him the same thing.

Andrew had the same reaction, and Carol told him the same thing. She then walked back over to me and said," I think you said something about seeing the outside."

Andrew has reddish hair, dark eyes, and a thickly muscled frame. He stood at the height of 188 cm. He also had pale skin and weighed 100 kg.

Cray

"yes, but don't you want to figure out what's going on."

Carol

"yes, but not as bad as I want to see this planet, so take me to the elevator and let's go see it."

Cray

I laughed and said "okay, it's just down the hallway. Let's go."

Carol and I walked over to the elevator and took it to the surface. The spider drones made a hatch so that the elevator would bring us out on to the top of the ship. As Carol and I rose up from the ship, Carol smiled and breathed in, while looking out across the open Lake.

While we were looking out over the lake, A large bird flew over the lake, when a massive geyser of water shot up. A 50-meter long lizard latched onto the flying bird and dragged it into the water.

Cray

"oh yeah, I forgot about those."

Carol

Carol spoke in a soft voice. "Cray, I would like to go back into the ship and talk to you about these giant monster things in a more secure environment."

I looked at Carol and had the odd sensation of feeling like she was going to take a sledgehammer to my core. But she was speaking so nicely, so that can't be it. When we got back into the medical bay, Carol hit me in the back of my head with one of the chairs.
