《AS LONG AS IT'S INTERESTING, ISN'T IT FINE TO LIVE AS A DUNGEON? (Hiatus)》Chapter 32.5 : An Eye In The Sky

An exerpt from the major newspaper, EYE IN THE SKY:
Sea Volley! The sport taking the new dungeon town of Calchet by storm. Many of our readers in the capital may not have heard of it but it's THE sport of the aquatically inclined. I promise it will be the newest craze throughout the land, lead by the esteemed Lasarim Sakillen himself. Our magnanimous ruler must have invested thousands of gold coins on the new aquatic center that the locals call The Dive. For good reason too. It's a enhanced glass tower the size of a Blitzsmash field and as tall as it is long filled to the brim with water. With it's giant rune enchanted screens, you won't miss a moment of the action.
Much like Blitzsmash, it's absolutely action packed. While you don't get the heavy earth aligned head smashing bone crunching physical action, you get so much more magical prowess and dextrous feats. The goal of course, remains as simple as Blitzsmash. Get the ball to the opponent's goal. Easier said than done with both might and magic standing in your way. Instead of the brute strength of Blitzsmash, you get wonderous dextrous feats as each player weaves their way through the water, often dodging and deflecting spells by a hair's breadth while darting through the water at breakneck speeds. It'll make even a harpy break out a cold sweat.
And for you gambling folks, you ought to see the payouts flying around. The more diverse tactics means even an underdog can make a big comeback. That's right, I said The Dive is a tower of water and they use ever last inch of it. Incredible tactics making use of the three dimensional space puts Blitzsmash to shame. There's no running out of bounds here. The water, the air, the floor, and even rebounding off the glass walls are fair game. Rumors are, our very own marine forces have heard the news and will put together a team to compete. That's right, Sea Volley is so fantastic even the marine force is thinking about using it as training. You wouldn't want to be left out of this folks. Ask your city officials when Sea Volley is coming to a city near you and as always, keep an eye on EYE IN THE SKY. We will keep you updated with the latest and greatest news.

God of Shinobi - A Naruto SI
Finding myself in the body of Naruto Uzumaki was pretty unsettling. But I can't complain too much because Kami knows there are plenty of other characters that get way less plot armor. Enough talk, there are enemies to kill and plans to be disrupted. Wouldn't have signed up for this, but since I'm here, might as well get the job done.

St. Charles and the Children from the Sun
This story is a tale classic in its tragedy, about the foibles of Man and how he destroys the things he loves, all to prove himself superior over the Universe. In a quest to defeat Hilter during Wold War II, Winston Churchill and Franklin Deleanor Roosevelt barter with a race of serpents who come from outer space. There are a few inconveniences for the leaders of the West when dealing with these creatures. For one, they can't even talk to them, for the aliens 'speak' by manipulating light. But in exchange for the knowledge of how to build an atomic bomb, all the monsters want from us is to live in peace at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. What could go wrong with that? * * * This story is my entry in The Royal Road Community Magazine Contest * * *
