Version 1.3 Update

The Chat room has been modified. A Ranking system has been created.

People will be divided into Tiers based on their ranking in society, as well as within the faith.

SPU, is the highest rank among all those within and without my church. He receives the rank of ‘Pope’. Below the pope exists the ‘Cardinal’ rank and will be handed out, and replaced by SPU or me. These people will receive the ‘Executioner system’. Those who are the kings of nations have received the ‘Overlord system’, and will be given the ‘King’ title, which is the highest rank among those who have not completely joined the church. The ‘King’ rank is equal to the ‘Cardinal’ rank. All nobles, from the dukes, Counts, Viscounts, and finally Barons will all receive the ‘Lord system’, and will receive a title based on their rank of nobility. Those who have been players since the initial release of the systems, will receive a special rank called “Beta Players”. This title is a unique rank title which in most cases is equal to the “Duke” rank, with most benefits related to the rank missing other than authority over those below the rank. For the commoners, there are a few choices: All normal people who receive my blessing will become normal players with no rank Those who join the church itself, will begin the journey from the rank of Priest, to Bishop, to Arch-Bishop, and finally to Cardinal. Naturally, the selection for ranks above Bishop will be handles by SPU. Others can also choose the path of ‘True Players’. In order to receive this rank, you need to rapidly increase your level as fast as you can. Those who reach level 30 will receive this rank, which is equal to a Baron’s rank. From here, at level 60 you will receive the rank of ‘Amateur Player’, followed by ‘Semi-professional Player’ at level 120. More ranks will be updated when the need arises.

Other than ranks, the Chat Room has also been updated. Based on your current rank, you will be assigned to a private chat with all those of your rank. There is also the ‘General Chat’ to speak with anyone from any rank. Further updates will come when the need arises.

With this job finally done, Jack stretched his non-existent hands, and prepared for a large harvest of CP soon.

Back in Ferdin, the capital of Bard, Mason had awoken and was preparing to get some meditation done for the day, hopefully gaining something from it this time.

It had become a routine for him to wake up early, spend 2 hours trying to meditate, and hope for something good. Although, he has been completely unsuccessful in gaining any stat increases, he was at least able to calm is him greatly after going this, which greatly boosted his magic power and efficiency.

‘It doesn’t matter whether I win the tournament or not, all I need to do is be noticed by the blacksmith and my quest should be complete.’

Mason though that he could skip a little bit since the quest only told him to meet the blacksmith, which should be completed if both of them looked over at each other at the same time.

Thinking this far, Mason cleared his mind for the first time. Up until now, he had had worries regarding his chances to live, worries regarding money, worries regarding completing the quest, worries about his own future.

But for the first time, he was able to completely clear his mind of all thoughts and emotions.

Who knew when, but Mason’s mind reached a state of complete peace?

Jack looked over with interest after SPU told him about Mason’s actions, and was utterly stunned.

‘Isn’t this similar to my enlightenment? No, it is similar in that you achieve inner-peace in both, but they are vastly different.’

If Mason’s peace was a dust particle, then Jack’s enlightenment was the entire multiverse. However, the fact remained that Mason had already begun walking the path of enlightenment.

When Mason opened his eyes, he was shocked to see two notification on his status.

One was the version update, which surprised him, but what was truly shocking was the second one.
