《Soul of the Warrior》Update: Cover Art Added

Just a quick update to let everyone who follows me know that I've finally added the Cover Art. I put the artist, where you can find his work, and how you can contact him in the Synopsis, but I'll go ahead an include it here, as well.

"Chapters" have to be at least 500 characters long in order to be posted, so I need to think of something else to say. There's really not a lot, lol.
To anyone wondering about the last name "Aluran," it's from my wife's pen name. She doesn't have any published work, at the moment, but she does write. Her genre would be a bit more YA than what I'm writing.

Thanks for permission to use the cover by WanderingInPixels over on Deviant Art. As of 12-15-18, the story is finished. I am planning to edit and will release the books as I finish in one big go, but there isn't a timeline on any of that. Marty had a fairly easy life as a cook for Arctic Storm Entertainment headquarters when he gets an offer from the company to try out a new playstyle for their biggest VRMMORPG, Oblivion Online. Follow him as he makes his way through the game as one of the monster races trying to survive against the forces of light. Author's note: I will update every Monday and Friday for sure, with the possibilities of bonus chapters through the week if I get extra writing done. I also did a disservice to several of my characters early on. I'm slowly working through a re-write, but it will be a while as I want to make sure I get it right this time around.

In an unremarkable forest in the world of Stillera, there lies a laboratory that houses various experiments, and genetically modified lifeforms. A team of researchers look up from their observation room, studying the domed arena. One of them leans forward, speaking into a microphone. "X1, move to testing grounds." A dark shadow emerges from one side, tentacles covered in eyes waving through the air as it inspects the arena. The shadow notices them staring at it. So it stares back. (The premise of this novel is heavily inspired by Super Minion. Everything else, not so much.)

Adding in [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Sean was a chemist on Earth with a lovely family life. Everything was going well, until a group of gods decide to summon him to their world. An unfortunate appearance by the trickster god derailed a normal summoning, and now Sean finds himself in a pickle. Content warning: There will be profanity and quite probably some gore, though the point of the story will not revovle around any gory scenes. I'm also including traumatising content as there will for sure be slavery and rape. The rape will be alluded to and not described, there are other places for that. I think this also explains the grimdark tag.
