《RakhtaBhushan (Blood Ornament)》Prologue 1: God And The Asura

**200 years before the main events of the story**
The cataclysmic sky swirled with clouds, dark and sinister. King of the Gods, Arya, looked solemnly at Yaman, the dark demon with two shiny fangs. Behind him, fire burned bright red, spreading into the enormous pit that surrounded the two inhuman creatures. Other gods stood audience, their weapons drawn, watching tensely through the roaring flames. The fiery pit separated them from the large fighting ground where God King Arya was taking down the Agni Asura Yaman.
"You have no place in the realms of the manifest or unmanifest." The God spoke in an ominous voice. "You will leave, Yaman." Arya's face was calm and serene, but his eyes burned bright.
The demon broke into a hysterical laughter. "You want me to leave? Why? Are you so afraid of my powers?"
"Afraid?" A thin mocking smile broke into Arya's lips. "I made you. I gave you the powers you boast of. But you have wandered too far from your path. It is time you left."
"Not all paths should lead to you, God King Arya. I have broken a new path, and you worry that humans will be wise to your deceit and follow me instead."
"My deceit?" Now, the God King laughed. "Who massacred thousands at the Nalini riverbank? Who scourged the east city with the great affliction? You have used force and falsehoods to corrupt people and commit great sins. Today, your depravity ends. If you do not leave, I will crush you with my own two hands."
"Come then, what are you waiting for, God King?"
The two inhumans drew their weapons, the God King with his longsword and the fire demon with his mace. They charged towards each other, leaping up in the air. The gods below looked up to see the two figures soar high, tearing through the smoke. Their weapons clashed with a loud clang, the ripples of which sent the other gods hurtling through the air and enveloped the two rivals in a fiery red light.

After ten days and ten nights of relentless battle, the God King, Arya, delivered the fatal blow, throwing the fire demon off the edge of the precipice, into the depths of the eternal hellfire.
The demon's form vaporized into smoke long before it hit the bottom of the pit. Only one tear remained that disappeared into the fiery abyss.
