After that final memory my awareness returned to my body. After seeing all of that, my heart hurts a little knowing I had the wrong idea about my eldest sister, while also not seeing the true side of my other sister. Either way now is not the time for that. If I ever wanna see my sister again I gotta live through this!

With all my memories(to my knowledge) returned I now have access to the stuff I gained while in that state. Though it was really only one thing, the Defiance trait. Hopefully it can get me outta this pinch. I let loose a primal roar that shook the entire floor.

"MOVE! MOVE! MOVE YOU SON OF A BITCH!" My eyes were bloodshot and my teeth were bleeding from grinding them too hard.

The tail was aiming for my chest, it would be hard for me to jump over it, I couldn't get around it, so I had to go under. I willed my body to slide downwards, my body obeying the system while trying to obey me, began to make cracking noises as my bones could not withstand being told two different orders. Finally with what seemed like the sound of glass shattering within my mind, my body began it's descent. Just in time as well as that tail swipe even after my movements took a couple of hairs off my head. 

Echidna seems shocked I dodged her attack, as she didn't go with a follow up attack, which would cost her. I quickly drank some of the potions I had gotten from the survivor camp, although they weren't the best, it's something. After drinking 5 of them I was back up to the point where I could survive another hit as long as it wasn't a critical hit. While I was doing that Fen and Diana weren't idle. They were quickly suppressing Echidna to give me time to heal.

Fen out of 6 attacks managed to get 2 crits, I guess that's infinite luck for you. With the new barrage Echidna was just under 2/5ths her max health. If Echidna has any more skills like the previous one then we have to finish this quickly.

Activating Royal Rage while also launching All-Devouring Flames towards Echidna, quickly I felt the new effects of this ability. Compared to Berserk in which I could keep my sanity while using it, this is significantly harder and will probably get harder the more I use it and sink deeper into madness.

With Royal Rage activated my Strength stat was bumped up to 6860, while my visual appearance seems to be changing. My skin is turning a deep bronze while glowing tattoos appeared all over my body. I pounced toward Echidna in a madness induced stupor. I quickly struck out with a 4 point strike right at Echidna's chest, causing a ghastly screech to part from her lips as she was actually lifted off the ground and sent backwards.

Even I was shocked with that damage, even though I was in an Enraged state the damage should not have exceeded 8,000 a hit.

With this new set of damage numbers Echidna was now down to just under half health, not one to pass a good chance I signalled Fen and Diana to accompany me in assaulting Echidna and hopefully finishing this before she has a chance to retaliate. While Fen and I charged forward, Diana began chanting an even larger spell than earlier, assured of our ability to occupy Echidna.

With my Elemental Magic I casted some air shackles to delay Echidna even further, while Fen used Savage Pounce to get there before me and launched a quick succession of attacks, by the time I got there Fen had already attacked 4 times.

I myself struck out with an Overhead rib strike followed by striking out with an uppercut with my staff, while Diana was finished her chant. Behind her stood an image of a silvery blue scorpion hissing, which quickly pounced upon Echidna, piercing with it's icy tail.

Even with a critical hit from myself and the huge damage from Diana, Echidna was still alive, although barely. All I would need is another three hits and it would be done, thinking this I quickly formed some hand seals, and shadows began to take shape around me and form blades, reminiscent of the Gates of Babylon from Fate/Zero, albeit in a black color over golden. While the blades launch I slit my wrists as there was no blood from Echidna as the wounds had frozen over. Beginning my chant for a Blood Magic spell, Echidna finally breaks free from the wind chains and begins her own chant.

I signal for Fen and Diana to back up, they listen albeit reluctantly. As it seems Echidna either has a higher spell casting ability than me or her spell is weaker than the one I was going for, her spell is finished first. Oh shit. That was definitely not weak.

In front of me was a ballista of flames, loading it's bolt and aimed right at me, I began to sweat considerably, I only had 5,300 health left and I don't think that's enough to live through a fire bolt to the stomach, but as I was mid chant I couldn't stop.

As the bolt launched, I couldn't help but think that everything up to thus far had been pointless. As the bolt pierced my stomach and cauterized the wound, I couldn't help but curse this fucked up world. As my body disappeared from existence, I couldn't help but think that Echidna really was a fucking idiot.

*POOF*

On Echidna's back a shadow blade that had pierced her turned into me, myself and I. Oldest Naruto trick in the book, hiding as a weapon. With a quick series of jabs Echidna was no more.

A/N Chapter 29 DONE! A lot of progress in this chapter IMO, although I'm pretty biased [th_0shh.gif] Well anyway, I'd like to hear your opinions and also another poll though I feel that everyone will vote for Unholy Grandmaster So go vote on that.
