《Enigma's Multiverse (Rewritten, link in description)》Chapter 38- Unique or Rare?

Rare Class: Master of None
Requirements: Any object classified as a 'weapon'
A class for those who believe a duel is decided not by the weapon in one's hands, but the deftness of the wielder. Those who have lived, breathed and toiled endlessly in pursuit of polishing a single way of combat look down upon your frivolous nature, but you pay no mind to their criticisms. In versatility lies your greatest strength, a crude knife or an exquisite longsword matters little, for choice is a luxury a survivor such as yourself cannot allow. Those who are too entrenched in their traditional combat forms would find that despite being far more skilled, an odd cultivator with a ragtag assortment of weapons was somehow their equal in actual combat.
'Master of none, yet a will that makes a mockery of the elite.'
Rare Class: Hidden Blade
Requirements: Dagger/Shortsword
Merely because you wield a greatsword on your back, does not mean you are proficient in it's usage. The exterior is naught but a carefully crafted illusion, woe betide those who jump to hasty conclusions. Those who have the honor of witnessing your true blade, no longer exist in the realm of the living. A path that requires meticulousness and perseverance to tread, for the ballad of death you have oh-so-elaborately designed is always a single misstep away from disaster. Yet, while others fight a drawn out, bloody battle to the death, all it takes a single, agile slash at the most opportune moment to reap the life of your oblivious foe.
Rare Class: The Pacifist
Weapon Requirement: None
You stand in defiance of the established norm in the multiverse, believing violence to be a primitive and repulsive form of resolving disputes. Yet, unfortunately you do not possess the strength to rewrite the laws of the multiverse. You understand that the world around you will force you to kill, whether that be against mythical beasts or fellow sentient beings. In a form of resistance however, you do not apply lethal means unless necessary. An ancient combat technique that uses the force behind a foe's strike against them, your bare hands are enough to force even the mightiest of creatures to yield. A class only for those who have the resolve to follow this belief to the end, to mercilessly crush the foe's very will to fight before it devolves into a situation where one life must be snuffed for the other to live.

Uncommon class: Rapier Specialist Uncommon class: Claw Specialist Uncommon class: Swordsman Uncommon class: Assassin Uncommon class: Berserker
'These classes really are something, huh' Tim thought to himself. The Rare Classes didn't really seem all that much inferior to the unique ones, especially when in their element. [Master of None] seemed like a really handy class, considering how the system liked throwing random weapons his way. Plus, it was easy to see how using an odd assortment of weapons would throw the alien invaders off guard, provided he could acquire them first.
'Huh, wait. I can get a bunch of cheap weapons from Indranath's store if I chose Master of None.' realized Tim. It was definitely a class he could consider, but the only outlier was that it didn't seem to be very powerful.
[Hidden Blade] on the other hand seemed like it would work really well with his Dao of the Wind and high agility levels. In all honesty, the class sounded absolutely terrifying, and Tim could only hope he wouldn't encounter someone with similar abilties. The problem was.... well Tim wasn't really sure he wanted to be an assassin. He didn't know if he had that kind of patience and well, scheming ability to pull that kind of a stunt off. And it just seemed.... wrong.
[The Pacifist] sounded really cool, reminding him of a Monk class in games he had played. It basically seemed like the multiverse's version of Aikido, using an assailant's momentum and weight against him. Even in a world without the system's powers, there were video's online of thin looking women tossing men double their weight with practised ease, so it could only be more impressive than that. Though the idea of confronting a monstrous beast with only bare hands.... didn't really appeal to him.

As for the unique classes, they seemed to be based off on the combat style's of historical figures, so Tim wasn't really sure what to make of them. The only thing he did know however, was that the system didn't fuck around when it came to the rarity metric, there had to be something that put them a notch above rare classes.
[Aankhara's Inevitablity] was a class he would hate to go up against, but the level of dedication, or perhaps madness required to pull it off..... Tim could only shudder at the thought. If one chose to cancel their attack and defend against Aankhara, they'd always be taking a passive role against him. If one chose to believe Aankhara's move to be a bluff and commit to the attack, then they'd end up either wounded or dead. It really was an ultimate gamble, Tim could only wonder what happened to Aankhara that caused him to come up with such a devious technique.
[Marsinia's Treachery] seemed like a good match from him, though the combat descriptions gave him pause. It seemed like a very refined technique, i.e., a very complex and convoluted one. Considering Tim got this far swinging his rapier in whatever way seemed fit, he wasn't really sure if this was a combat style he'd be able to adapt to. Tim didn't even know the basics of formal swordplay, was such a refined and elegant style really one he could learn in a short period of time? He wasn't sure.
[Frenzied Hunt] seemed like a far easier combat style to grasp, and definitely a more adrenaline packed one. The claw in itself was a far simpler weapon to use, and the class mentioned the importance of fluidity and a much more primal form of combat, which would be an apt description of his journey so far. Still, the claw wasn't the best in terms of synergy with the Dao of the Wind, otherwise he would've selected this option in a heartbeat.
Fifteen long minutes passed as Tim was lost in deliberation. Finally, he made up his mind and made the selection.
