Chapter 1: Arrival
Japan, a country filled with many innovations, seeing as it is the main country to host the number one corporation that lead the world in intelligence and political wealth. The Kurogane Corporation employs the world’s leading scientists developing future’s technology that has lead to numerous inventions widely used today.
Today is a normal day none like no other yet something was off about this day. Today felt like any other day, however, there was an ominous presence. Numerous tremors could be felt underneath the Earth. In Japan, slight tremors were a normal occurrence. Most people shrugged it off, and proceeded with their everyday life. Only a few began to wonder. People shrugged off the feeling as if it were a normal occurrence but one can only wonder.
On the base of Mt. Fuji multiple vehicles, carrying various amounts of “black suit” men, were parked in an orderly manner. Within the center, one could spot a female wearing a kimono. If she weren’t in a stretcher, she would easily rival today’s “Yamato Nadeshiko” in terms of natural beauty. She exuded a beautiful aura that would easily tame a savage beast. As they ushered her along the path, she would gently rub her stomach as if she was trying to communicate to the being within her stomach. This woman was in the process of going into labor.
As the woman was being escorted up the mountain, a man strode beside her without losing a single tempo as if he were stuck to the stretcher. This man looked utterly normal. If someone was normal within a high school setting, this man would be the character that sat next to the window as if he wanted to be a typical protagonist within a shoujo manga. People still wonder to this day on how the hell he managed to marry a idolized japanese woman that had an aura of such high nobility. But no matter how normal he looked, he was a man that had a similar build to those “black suit” men. He may be normal but he surely has trained his body.
“Koujiro-san, your wife is in labor! We must escort her quickly to the temple where she shall give birth to your son!” The doctor of the Kurogane clan spoke with an increasing tone to the man who stood beside his wife.
“Haruka, my wife we will get through this together! Do not give up. I will always be beside you” Koujiro reassured his wife that they will go through this together. Haruka felt her husband’s confidence when she saw the resolve in his eyes.
As they gradually ascended the mountain, the whole world could feel the slight tremors. No one knew the source, however, they located its origins to be within the country of Japan. The higher they climbed the mountain, more tremors could be felt yet Mt. Fuji was unaffected; as if a barrier protected the sacred mountain.
They arrived at the temple which presided the grave of Ryuu Kurogane and Akane Kurogane understandably they had no time to offer their prayers due to the alarming rate which Haruka screamed. They approached the temple and the “black suits” immediately began their operation. They scoured the entire temple and brought forth various blankets and a large futon which they laid Haruka upon. The men quickly brought the equipment to assist the doctor before dispersing back towards the base of the mountain. The doctor quickly began to analyze the situation of both the baby and mother. The black suits quickly dispersed and the only people remaining were Koujiro, his wife and the doctor. As soon as the last black suits left the temple, Kourjiro quickly ushered his approval at the doctor to begin his operation…

Throughout the country of Japan and the rest of the world, violent tremors trembled the entire planet. Everyone in sync, stumbled at the violent tremors that occurred in succession. After an hour of turmoil, the tremors subsided and everyone sighed at relief. Everyone seemed to relax but it wouldn’t hurt to be cautious. Eventually people continued onward. The city was filled with phones ringing and many voices echoed throughout the cities. As everyone assumed to be safe, they knew they were wrong from the start.
At the temple cries could be heard and a man who continuously reassured his woman that they will get through this together. The woman nearing the end, roared in pleas as if she was being torn inside. Excessive amounts of blood poured from her exterior and the doctor was shocked at the amount that spilled. No one knew what was happening and the man quickly ushered the doctor to finish his operation or his wife wouldn’t survive.
The doctor was sweating excessively because this has never happened within the entire medical history. A seal was being formed from the excessive amounts of blood that poured from the woman’s body. One would think that this seal was a magical seal that often appeared in various MMORPG’s. The seal was glowing while the baby’s head was hanging out. The glow from the seal shown brighter as the woman pushed out her son with resolve. The moment the baby was finally pushed out, a vicious earthquake could be felt throughout the entire Earth. Even at the base of Mt. Fuji, the cars rocked violently side to side however the tremors never seemed to reach the temple at the summit.
The doctor gasped for air as he was covered in blood and took hold of the baby but as soon as he moved the baby towards the woman, his gaze turned pale. The man beside him roared and tears flowed like twin waterfalls down his face. His wife had passed away…
“Haruka! Haruka! WHY!! DON’T LEAVE!!” Koujiro bellowed in sadness as he gazed at his wife’s lifeless body.
Koujiro knelt down to the floor flabbergasted at this point. Tears continued to formed as he ushered his wife to return to him. He cried until the doctor told him to stop as Koujiro attempted to batter his wife to return. The doctor held the baby but while focused on the death of Haruka, he forgot for a split second that the baby was not crying. The doctor’s heartbeat increased to dangerous levels at the thought of losing 2 members of the Kurogane clan but he stared puzzlingly at the baby; which in returned stared back at him. The baby looked at The doctor felt as if the baby was staring into his soul or it was gazing into his power level as a human. The doctor quickly let out a sigh of relief that alerted Koujiro.
“M-my son!! Your mother is gone. You will grow up with no mother! I fail as a father who could not protect the mother of his own son. My son, I will raise you the way your mother would have...done...so….!” Koujiro slouched in front of the infant as tears glistened falling upon the infant.
The infant looked upon the man, which was his father, with a confused expression mixed with guilt. The baby took all its strength to move his hand and placed it upon the cheek of his father as if he wanted to tell him that everything is okay. The moment the infant did this, the father looked at his son lovingly, his last tears was dropped upon the baby.

Koujiro knew from this moment on he had to take care of his son. He will no longer dwell on the past and he will continue to raise his son into a powerful man.
After cleaning himself, Koujiro held the baby in his arm after dismissing the doctor and wondered what the baby’s name should be.
“Hmm...your name should be unique my son...your mother would want a beautiful name for you...How about Kyou?” Koujiro looked at his son while uttering these words mixed with happiness and sadness.
The baby looked at his father with disapproval knowing his name should be better. Koujiro looked at his confused son and began to think of new names. The moment Koujiro wandered off into his mind, a light permeated the temple blocking the exits to prevent any outside interference.
A figure could be seen within the light as it enveloped the room. The figure was of a man, but the figure did not have any facial features nor any recognition of the sort. All it had shown was an sillhouettte of a masculine body figure. The figure with its broad shoulders and finely sculptured legs darted towards Koujiro and the baby. Koujiro initially assumed an attack and attempted to prevent any injury, luckily nothing happened. The spirit stared at the two communicating a deep thought at the newborn. After he finished, the spirit gathered a pillar of light that contained various runic scriptures. Koujiro stared confusingly at the spirit and tried to speak. The moment Koujiro attempted to speak, the spirit interrupted:
“That...child…is….my...descendant…..our...descendant..
He...shall...be...the...one…..to...chose...a...path…..
His path….will...be...harsh….therefore….I...will….
become one….with...him...in...the...near...future….
His...name...shall...be….Souma...Kurogane….
His path is the….truth….of..the...clan….
He shall find out everything….is...not...easy…”
The spirit spoke with immense regality and violently dispersed into thin air which out brought a bright light that is shown through the summit of Mt. Fuji.
‘WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT!?’ Koujiro stood there with a dumbfounded expression and inside his mind a tsukkomi could be heard.
Immediately Koujiro knew that there was 2 things that had to be done. They will spend 7 days mourning for his wife and after that a meeting must be held between the elders. Koujiro stood up with the baby and opened the door that lead to outside garden within the temple grounds. This The garden connected to a small cliff had a miniature waterfall that shown bright due to the reflections of the sun and a wonderful Koi pond that was displayed at the bottom. Koujiro went to the cliff that overlooked the bottom of the mountain and lifted his son in the air over the mountain. A song could be heard that meant the cycle which all life goes through then out of nowhere a gust of wind slapped Koujiro across the face.
“WHAT WAS THAT FOR!?” screamed Koujiro but no one was there. His face was red in embarrassment because he looked stupid screaming at the sky.
The doctor quickly motioned for Koujiro that the funeral will immediately start and they will begin preparations. Koujiro took his shirt and covered his son. As soon as the doctor turned the corner, his his screams of laughter could heard echoing down the hall, alerting Koujiro of exposure from his previous embarrassment.
“Life will get harder….But I have steeled my resolve. Haruka please watch over us two. I promise to raise our son to the best of our abilities!” Koujiro mournfully spoke towards the temple which laid his dead wife and left the premises.

Somewhere far away from civilization, a building that recided on a wandering cloud could be seen only to the gods and an ominous aura permeated the surrounding. Several voices could be heard coming from the building. All were shouting, mumbling and various stutters could be heard.
“THE CHILD HAS BEEN BORN!? ASMODAN WHY HAVE YOU FAILED ME!? YOU CLEARLY DID NOT KILL THE MOTHER!?” A prominent figure spoke as he sat on the highest platform from the rest.
“Sire, I have done the best of my abilities! Not to show any disrespect towards my liege but I must at least defend myself from persecution!” A figure spoke while kneeling towards the person that sat above everyone.
“SILENCE! THAT IS NO EXCUSE! I GAVE YOU FULL AUTHORITY AND YOU HAVE FAILED ME!” The man bellowed towards the kneeling person and gave off an unshakable pressure that alerted everyone in the building.
“My dear, Asmodan really did put forth his greatest abilities on performing your duties. He killed the mother but unfortunately the baby survived due to that god interfering from killing them.” A female figure that had a spunky body with excellent curves with a beautiful blue moonlight dress that gave off a wonderful smell.
“Ahem! I will still punish the man for failing! BE GLAD I WILL NOT CONDEMN YOU TO ETERNAL SUFFERING, HOWEVER! you must live on earth as a human being and die as one! I NOW BANISH YOU FROM THIS PLACE!”
The room shook and chains appeared around Asmodan and dragged him across the floor. They took him out the building and the chains locked onto his soul and brought him down to earth. As he was falling, a smirk could be seen on his face as if he planned this all along.
Back on earth, a man who looked ever so normal and a baby that never did cry could be seen driving off towards the center of Japan which received damage from the immediate earthquake no one expected. They arrived at a traditional Japanese abode with multiple rooms located with the premise with tatami mats that had a symbol of a Black steel twin sword cross located in the middle. They walked onto the entrance of the abode and the door immediately opened and a multitude of men and women bowed in sync towards the man and child.
Koujiro walked into the building with his son in hand and his thoughts were all over the place....
'How do I raise a kid....?'
