Chapter 2: Reasons
Looking upon a traditional Japanese home no one would suspect it rather than being a normal house, however they were misinformed. Various sword strikes could be heard that vibrated the house and constantly the people wondered what the hell was going within that house.
“Souma! Get up! Do the Jodan stance once more! You are lacking in discipline!” A man around the age of 65 snapped at the four year old and proceeded to beat him with the wooden sword. This man is known as Kentaro Shima, a man whose grandfather trained under Ryuu Kurogane and passed his teachings to his son and now his grandson inherits his teachings.
“You’ve only done this 150 times! You must become resolute and unwavering! Do another set of strikes. Start from the Jodan and end with the Waki-gamae and repeat! DO NOT FAIL THIS TIME!”
“Shishou!, I have disappointed you!” Souma stood up and began to repeat the stances of Kendo. After finishing all stances, with every form was repeated 150 times each, Souma dropped to the floor due to fatigue.
“Souma, I am proud as your teacher! You may rest. Your mother would be proud of you. Seeing you like this, reminds me of the stories my grandfather told me about your great-great grandfather, Ryuu Kurogane but those stories are for a later time.” Kentaro stood up as soon as he heard a vehicle pull up in the lot.
“Souma my boy, let us go greet your father and after you must go take a bath while me and your father catch up on business.”
“Yes, Shishou.” Souma stood up and bowed at his teacher and moved towards the entrance to greet his father.
“Chichi-ue, welcome home.”
“Koujiro, your son is remarkable! He is able to learn the kendo stances on the first day but he must continuously shape his body in order to perform every move.” Kentaro held his head high on appreciating his disciple was a born genius.
“My son, you have done well! However you must not forget that we love you and there are reasons to why you must learn everything from your teacher. Nonetheless, why haven’t you hugged your father when I arrived. You’ve made me sad.” Koujiro looked expectantly at his self-absorbed son that treated everything so serious. Koujiro knew his son must be the one the elders talked about but he must know kindness and become a person of benevolence rather than a savage beast. Souma looked at his father and was ushered by his teacher to run and hug him. Souma jumped into his father’s arms and was lifted into the air by his father.

“Welcome home dad, I missed you!” Souma teared at his father which he hasn’t seen in 3 days due to his company pulling his father away from home.
Souma quickly dropped down and went to his room to gather his clothes and went to the bathroom to take a bath.
Kentaro and Koujiro sat on the floor while being serviced by the maids. They brought out sashimi and various snacks along with the big bottle of sake. Kentaro poured a drink for Koujiro and both drank a cup and started to talk about other business pertaining to the growth of Souma and the current position of their lives...
* * * * * *
From a young age, Souma was very smart and very noble. Not once did he disrespect his father nor his teacher. He was the epitome of a perfect disciple, however his actions were quite odd. He barely smiled and his father Koujiro thought it was because there was no motherly figure in the house. He always performed with little to no mistakes but his emotions were quite void. Only to his father and teacher would his emotions show. He loved his father and teacher. Both of which raised him but Koujiro knew that he needed a motherly figure before his son becomes deprived of all emotions.
Although only to his father and teacher where he showed emotions, there was another figure that often played with Souma. This person would always play with Souma from his infant years and gradually little by little emotions would appear on his face. This person was Hirumi Nakamura, a maid that worked for the Kurogane clan. She was in her late 20’s and her figure was very beautiful. Not fat nor skinny, but above average. Her body was quite fit due to the actions that she partook in her duty as a maid of the Kurogane house. She liked the job not only because the pay was high but because she would often play with Souma. She often looked after Souma because she would have had a son around the same age of Souma but miscarried and her husband left her for another woman that bore his child. She cried endlessly until being recruited into the house which she took care of the young master. Koujiro saw this miracle happening. A person other than him and Kentaro was able to bring out emotions within his son.
After Hirumi laid Souma in his bed, Koujiro immediately requested her presence in his room. Hirumi arrived in the room and sat in a seiza position and waited for Koujiro to speak.
“Hirumi, I have seen your actions towards my son” Koujiro spoke in a formal tone towards Hirumi but she was frightened at the fact she might be fired.

“M-master Koujiro, I have performed my duties to the utmost of my abilities. Is there anything I did wrong…?” Hirumi spoke with a shaken voice but the next words that came out of Koujiro’s mouth will blow away all her insecurities.
“I want you to become a mother for Souma. I have noticed that you are always taking care of him a-and..” Koujiro didn’t finish his sentence but he went towards Hirumi and sat in a Dogeza prostrating his entire body and began to finish his sentence. “I want you to become my wife! I know you’ve had a rough time experiencing a bad relationship but I want you for both me and my son! I will take care of you!” Koujiro spoke to the stunned woman. Koujiro never indulged to his sexual desires because he could not forget his wife, Haruka but his friend Kentaro always told him to find someone for Souma. Even before he noticed Souma becoming attached to Hirumi, Koujiro would always look at Hirumi because her eyes always had a peculiar aura and before he knew it, he became attracted to Hirumi. In Koujiro’s mind he was apologizing repeatedly to his deceased wife but Haruka would never be mad at Koujiro. Koujiro was a very kind man and Haruka knew best in her soul that Koujiro would never betray her unless it was important. Although Koujiro’s initial idea was to get a motherly figure but his desires were building everytime he gazed upon Hirumi.
A few seconds passed and Hirumi snapped out of confusion and began to speak. “M-master Koujiro! Please get up do not prostrate yourself upon me. I am unworthy of your presence. You have greatly helped me and I d-don’t know what to say to your offer...I am a woman that has miscarried and my appearance is very lacking… I do not have the confide-” Hirumi spoke fast and before she could even finish, Koujiro rose and began to steal her lips. Hirumi tried to struggle but she could not refuse the Master because she too, was yearning for a man.
The night was very long for these two as they began to indulge in themselves. Various noises echoed throughout the japanese home and 'cat noises' were being heard. Souma was alerted due to the noise and he thought stray cats invaded his home. He quickly grabbed his wooden sword and went to open the door but his teacher, Kentaro blocked the doorway.
“Whoa kiddo, you should be sleeping now.” Kentaro druggedly spoke to Souma.
“Shishou, stray cats have invaded my house. I must defend our home” Souma spoke with dignity.
“Ahh, those ar-ren’t cats, th-hat’s a baby being made. Your sibling will come soon.” Kentaro spoke to the innocent Souma.
“Sibling? I thought babies came from sporks? They come from flying sporks right Shishou?”
“No, my yo-young disciple. Babies are made when a man and woman ha-” Before Kentaro finish speaking he landed face front onto the floor and fell asleep.
“Shishou, Shishou! Wake up! You smell funny!” Souma looked confused at his drunk teacher and he began to drag his body towards his bed.
Souma took out a futon from the closet and laid his passed out teacher in the futon. After completing this, the cat noises subsided but heavy panting could be heard throughout the house. Souma shrugged it off because he thought his father was doing late night exercises. Souma got in his bed and began to sleep. In his dreams, he was in a Fantasy world with dragons flying about and magic being endless. The world looked so surreal, with vast oceans and sky high mountains that endlessly peaked above the clouds. He dreamt of adventure and lore. Souma continued to dream about his fantasy adventure but little did he know that the experiences that happen in that world will randomly occur in his world…

Within the city of Tokyo, a man could be spotted walking in between the crowds. He looked like an average male, about 5’9” that wore a cloak around his body. He has a normal face and normal clothes, however this man was far from normal. Chains could be heard rattling against the concrete as he walked between the crowds and 2 horns could be shaped over the cloak he wore. He walked around with a gleeful smile as if all his troubles were past him. This man is Asmodan.
Author's note
Well, this is chapter 2. I had various ideas and different events that I originally planned for this chapter but I changed it. I didn't know whether to accelerate his childhood growth but if I did we'd lose important parts of his childhood. So I decided to break up the story into separated events that will form together around chapter 7 or 8. If you want to me to speed up his growth or keep the same format with the separate events just post it below and I'll consider it.

Embrace the Blade [Drafts 1&2]
James Ransom grew up unable to do the simplest of life’s tasks. Legs were malformed; he was in a wheel chair as long as he could remember. Suffering from a severe form of muscular exhaustion making him unable to use his hands for long despite his resolve to fight through it. All the challenges facing him he still was able to enjoy reading and video games; but a tragic car accident will change his life forever and perhaps he will be given the opportunity to reincarnate into another world. Special thanks to Mikaelle for the Synopsis. This is my first book/fic so constructive critisism would be very nice. Expect a lot of grammatical errors but hopefully not too many spelling errors. Explanation for the tags; Action/Adventure/Fantasy: These don't really need an explanation, Comedy: I'll try to be funny hopefully I won't fail miserably, Romance: I like romantic sub-plots, LitRPG: No explanation needed but I am using my own system, Reincarnation/Summoned Hero: Not sure which one applies here I'm inclined to think both so I put both, Reader Interactive: I put this one here for my own amusment I'll allow everyone to help create the MC's love interest and maybe a few other things we will also hold a few contests.. Male Lead: self explanitory, Magic: Also easy, Strong Lead: Think of this as more of a weak-to-strong tag the MC will be OP but not till later in the story. Warning: Since this fic is labeled as 'Strategy' I believe that the readers should know as much as possible about the situations presented in the story so they can reach their own conclusions about how a fight could have been won or lost. That means: there are a lot of information dumps early on. I don't know how long I'll be able to write this fic but I promise to keep my few readers informed in case I decide to drop it or something.

Tera: Still Untitled
A story told from the point of view of an NPC that became sentient. With the help of a friendly player or two, they set about recovering her memories and finding out the cause of her awakening. Set in the MMORPG TERA(The Exiled Realm of Arborea). I got bored on the long commute to and from work(about 1.5 hours each way) and decided to flesh out some of the ideas I've had about my character in game. I write about a chapter a day on weekdays, maybe on weekends too depending on the stuff I have to do irl.

Healing Dungeon
// DUNGEON Mechanics will start to appear around chapter 100+/Arc 3 of the story! \ Avan, a 25-year-old young man, is torn from his rather boring life. He awakens in Aorus, a world full of magic, monsters and dungeons. By a stroke of luck and an ominous skill called "Potential", he awakens a new class never seen before called Dungeonheart (Human). Dungeons, although sentient, are never sapient nor mobile. Join Avan as he pursues his passion for healing and martial arts, and building his very own dungeon at the same time. He’s the hybrid of a moving dungeon and a healer. "Healing Dungeon" will include City building, strategy, very little romance, exploration of the world of Aorus, and a touch of power levelling. (There are elements from other fantasy novels, as well as anime, games, and more). What will all be possible with a dungeon that can move, but still brings some of the familiar dungeon mechanics along for its journey? -- Please note that the beginning and thus the first chapters were really my first writing works in english, and can only be rewritten at a later time (lack of time in favor for new chapters) --(The writing style and also the story improves VERY much from the 12th chapter at the latest! Proofreading is available, but I depend on any well-intentioned advice from you guys). If you have any questions, suggestions, constructive criticism, or just because you feel like it, feel free to leave me a comment below the respective chapters! For every positive and serious review or rating, I am infinitely grateful! ;) I am a creature of few words and the beginning is therefore a little faster than I would have liked it now in retrospect. Please do not expect huge paraphrases and descriptions of the environments, but only what is really necessary to get into the scene. Cheers and hopefully see you in the comment section.
