"The truth hurts
...
But it's good for you."
-Olivia
A few minutes before the confrontation:
Uraraka was just sitting there, not doing anything. She personally felt that she deserved it; she had only just escaped a horde of reporters raving (right in her face) about 'The Upset Of The Century!' And yes, they did talk in capital letters. The look of shock on their faces would have offended her, if she didn't have the very same look on her own face, that is.
Her quirk didn't exactly scream 'Combat! Die! Murder!' as Bakugo's did. Sure, it was handy and she felt like she could do fairly well in the hero industry with it, but beating an explosive-ludicrously-powerful-genius (For what else could that power, that drive be called as?) wasn't something she saw herself doing even in her wildest dreams.
And yet, it wasn't a dream. (She checked)
It was all thanks to Allen's help. She didn't even know half of her quirk's potential applications before he came along. It wasn't just the quirk, however. He had been incredibly helpful, and nice, and kind, and h-he didn't even look at her weirdly after her little embarrassing revelation (That's not even mentioning her sledgehammer!). Then, in a display of rare boldness, she asked him for help and he accepted.
Even if he was the biggest asshole or murder-happy psychopath on the planet, she would have still been incredibly grateful. With all of the other stuff piled on top... Well, it was safe to say she never stood a chance. She would admit that she had a tiny, just a little teeny tiny bit, of fondness for her American classmate, and would rather appreciate it if he stuck around.
Hence why the news that suggested the opposite of her wishes rightfully upset her.
"If you're trying to talk to Allen, you should probably do it today, Todoroki. Apparently, he's going back to America."
...W-What-
"...Don't exchange programs last longer than a few weeks? It hasn't even been a month yet!"
Kaminari made a few squawking noises that Urakaka hardly had the presence of mind to notice.

"I-I don't really know either, to be honest. I... just overheard him on the phone. Maybe a family emergency?"
The courtyard plaza descended into silence for a few minutes, and Urakaka was finally starting to regain her facilities. There was still a lot of 'W-What?!' and 'Nonononononono' drifting around, but she had, at the very least, regained her ability to talk. But she was still a step slower than the one who had defeated her.
"Do you know where he is, then? I need to talk to him before he leaves."
"Me too!" She sprung up from her spot on the bench, startling both of the prepubescent boys. She fixated an indescribable glare on Kaminari. "I... need to talk to him too. C-Can you please tell me where he is? I need to ask him myself."
It soon became quite evident that it was determination.
"...Well, even if you ask me, I have no idea where he is," She visibly wilted, and Todoroki looked slightly irritated. Kaminari slouched impishly before a harsh sigh escaped his lips. "Look, I'm technically not supposed to know this, but as a safety precaution considering the recent villain attacks, there are trackers on the student IDs. If you could convince a teacher..."
Kaminari watched on as the duo's faces morphed and shifted from surprise, to disbelief, to slight anger and irritation. It was much more subtle with Todoroki, but he wasn't the official spy for nothing. That other kid had nothing on him-, ahem. He would have to keep their worldview pro-school for the time being. The plan wasn't suited for outside variables at the current moment.
"It's certainly not legal, but it makes sense if you think about it. The school can protect us on campus - with some difficulty but they still did it - but they can't protect us off-campus. If these guys have the guts to try and kill All Might, there's nothing stopping them from killing us..."
He had their attention now.
"Or at least, that's probably what's going on here. Regardless, it works in your guys' favor, right? Just... don't say I told you, got it?"

"Gottcha! We won't say anything!"
"We won't tell the teachers."
It was pretty obvious as to who answered with what.
Deku was pretty much unresponsive. He didn't notice of the growing number of eavesdroppers, nor the shocked-with-a-trace-of-triumph Bakugo. Instead, his internal self was busy brewing up an overwhelming concoction of self-hate and regret at the sheer stupidity of his last move. Sure, he had been stressed, but was that really a good excuse? He'd been through many stressful situations before, but it hadn't been enough to mess him up enough for mistakes to appear. He just wasn't the type to let it affect him beyond a surface level.
It wasn't the stress; it was damn carelessness.
Somewhere along the line, he had put his guard down. He could even kinda see why, although it still didn't excuse his actions. Compared to the League of Villains, this little school was heaven. There were no 'superiors' trying to kill him, no raids by a bunch of idiotic grunt villains who thought they were hot stuff, and most of all, no killing. He had used his best efforts to get slotted into a relatively non-combat role, and he had succeeded.
Somewhat. No matter who you were, the upper echelons of the League were required to have the strength to match their mettle.
He managed to get his missions to target the absolute scumbags of the Earth; rapists, murders, etc.
But it didn't change the fact that he was a murderer hunting other murderers. It wasn't very helpful for his admittedly already damaged psyche. So when he got to a paradise where none of these things happened, he must have let his guard slowly rot away. The presence of actual good-to-honest morally upright people must have also put a kink into his varying defenses.
His pupils enlarged and contracted in on itself, as they caught the minute shifting of Bakugo's body. He came back to reality with a start.
It wasn't helpful to drown in his own insecurities at this time. While his actions were incredibly stupid, he still had a multitude of options left in his stack of cards. It was true that there was no salvaging his previous action, but he already had permission to eject himself from his current mission. It grated on his nerves to accept such a thing, but his irritation was of no consequence to the total situation.
'Haaaa...'
Aizawa-sensei, Todoroki, and Urakaka had stepped in on the conversation somewhat late. All because it took them so long to convince the man and the resulting lecture that began when they spoke about the trackers. Still, the brunette could still figure somethings out. It seemed that Bakugo believed Allen... to be someone else? It didn't make sense, and sure enough, it was soon rebutted by Allen himself.
'Bakugo must just be imagining things,' She quietly decided in her mind. 'Speaking of things that don't make sense...'
"...Aizawa-sensei, why are we hiding in the bushes again? Is this really necessary?"
He glared at her, and with a shushing motion, she quickly quieted down on instinct.
"...Something feels off about this situation. So shut up, pay attention, and listen."
She peevishly glared at him (in the comfort of her own mind), before letting her back rest upon the gnarled bark of the firn tree behind her. The silence had stretched out since Allen had let out a stutter of some kind. She wasn't sure of its significance, but she had gotten a bad feeling after seeing the triumphant glow attached to Bakugo's presence. It had gotten worse at the sight of the pale contour of Allen's skin.
When she saw his grim set of impossibly empty eyes, she wanted to scream.
"It seems you've found the answer to the riddle," Her ears trembled at the haunting pitch of demeaning claps. "Congrats, Bakugo Katsuki..."
Lightning sparkled at the tips of his fingertips.
"I'm afraid to inform you that your prize... is death."
She screamed.

The Caring Dungeon
NOTE: I, as an 'author' am on a(n) (indefinite?) Hiatus. Without getting into too many details, the person who convinced me to write, who was my muse and my everything, is no longer in my life. I think about writing and I get physically ill and ache in ways that transcend the physical. I want to want to write, but I cannot find the energy. Life events, combined with apparently thin-skin when it comes to personal attacks on this platform, make it impossible for me. The messages, comments, and reviews I recieve(d) were so detrimental to my mental health that I've already removed one story from this website. This one remains up only because the criticisms located in this work are about my writing, and not personal attacks.I just felt like I should put something out there for anyone who is thinking about starting this story. It is not completed. I don't know that it ever will be at this point. I have lost my muse.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Not everything in this world is natural, and it's only natural to fear the unnatural. Fortunately for Manning, he was natural. Unfortunately, he found himself to be in a very unnatural state. Manning was trapped inside of a gemstone, called a dungeon core. Luckily for Manning, he found himself capable of using his newly found unnatural power to make a nature filled forest. With the help of Cara, his unnatural roommate, and Ash, his nature spirit companion, Manning dreams of covering the continent with the most beautiful and dangerous forest it has ever seen. His only other goals are to protect himself and Cara, and if he could ever remember, recover his memories. This is my first time attempting to write anything. Updates whenever I can find the energy and desire to write.
