"Oh, no problem. I've told them to come here. We can wait for them here," Bassel replies with a smile.

"Alright," replied Alex.

They waited for a couple minutes for the other members to arrive. They talked while waiting. Alia's attitude has warmed up while they talked. Both of them knew each other from earth. They trained in the same martial art dojo and became Defenders around the same time. They have been working together since the F-rank. Even though there was no party system in F-rank, there were people who worked together to kill the creatures. All the system cared was who performed the last hit. The system would then give the kill count to the Defender that performed the last hit.

Their conversation was interrupted by the arrival of the other members. The two new members are a pair of man and woman. The man seems to be a Chinese guy, while the woman looks to be South American.

The Chinese guy has an average build, around 170-180 cm tall. He has long dark hair that he tied into a ponytail. His two eyes seem to permanently be in a downward curve while one corner of his lip seems to be slightly raised compared to the other corner. His appearance gives one an uncomfortable feeling at first glance.

The South American woman stood at around the same height as the Chinese man. She has the same perfect proportion as Alia. Although Alex feels that Alia is more beautiful, this woman who has what people might describe as an innocent looking face holds her own charm. She is not shy about displaying a wide smile even as they meet for the first time. She gives the exact opposite feeling one might get from the Chinese man.

After they have gathered together, Bassel who seems to be the leader starts his introduction.

"Welcome to our new member. My name is Bassel. I'm usually the melee fighter in a party. I have two main skills, the E-ranked {Steel Muscle} and {Flaming Punch},"

"Hi, I'm Alia. Bassel and I are from the same hometown. As you probably can see from my weapon, I'm a long ranged fighter. I usually act as the scout for the party. My two main skills are the F-ranked {Detection} and the E-ranked {Lightning Enhanced Arrow}," Alia introduces herself next.

"I'm Song Huo. I met Bassel and Alia earlier today and agreed to form a party with them. I'm a melee fighter with two main skills, the E-ranked {Wind Step} and {Wind Blade}. This is Carina. I met asked her earlier to join us and she agreed." the Chinese man introduces himself as Song Huo.

"Hello, everyone. My name is Carina. This is my first time in this E-rank area, but I promise I won't drag anyone down, so please bear with me. I guess you could say I'm a long ranged fighter. My weapon is throwing daggers. I've only learned one E-ranked skill, the {Shadow Bind} skill. And I guess the F-ranked {Fireball} can still be useful here," Carina introduces herself with a wide open smile.

"Oh... A newbie," Alia and Bassel responded at the same time.

Their wide-open eyes looked at Song Huo at the same time.

"Ah, don't worry about her. Her {Shadow Bind} should be quite useful when hunting creatures," Song Huo defends his recruit.

Carina puts her hands together in front of her face that shows wide-opened eyes and starts begging.

"Plea... Please don't kick me out. I pro... promise I won't drag you down."

"Haha... relax. We won't kick you out. We were just joking earlier. Your {Shadow Bind} skill will be useful for our party," Bassel calms her down with a teasing laugh.

"Ah... Haha" Carina replies with an awkward laugh.

"So Alex, have you decided whether to join us or not?" Bassel turns his attention towards Alex.

Alex takes a look at the party composition. This seems to be a balanced party. They have two melee fighters, one scout and another one who can disable the opponent. He still doesn't trust them, but he also won't be able to trust the other Defenders in this area, so it's a moot point to consider. After thinking for a bit, Alex decides that he will join them. He planned to join a party anyway, and the composition of this party seems to be good.

"But, I'm also a newbie. Is that okay to have two newbies in your party?"

"Oh... You're also a newbie?" Bassel's eyes open wide once again to show his surprise.

"Buy, you have decided to join us?" He continues asking for confirmation.

After hesitating for a bit, Alex answers firmly.

"Yes."

"Then, it's okay. We can start slow to let the both of you get used to party hunting. Welcome to the party," Bassel extends his right hand which is met by Alex's right hand.

"Okay then. Please introduce yourself to us."

"Alright. I'm Alex. You can say I'm a hybrid fighter as I can do long range or melee. I have two main skills, the F-ranked {Detection} and the E-ranked {Lightning Strike}. I don't have melee skills, but I was born with a strong physique and was lucky with the {Evolution Potions}. I have higher physical stats than others," Alex introduces himself.

He only told the half-truth about himself. He said he has better physical stats through natural born talent and lucky evolutions to hide his mana-enhanced state from the {Energy Manipulation} skill. He also didn't tell them about his E-ranked defensive skill {Ice Dome}. It can be a life-saving skill for him if things go wrong. Besides, a newbie possessing two E-ranked skills is suspicious.

"Welcome to our party, Alex. Let's link up our [Magic Chips] first so we can form an official party recognized by the system," Bassel shakes Alex's hand with a wide smile on his face.

The others also welcome the two new members with handshakes. The five of them then forms a circular formation and put their hand together in the middle. The link-up took a few seconds.

"You have formed a party with four other Defenders: Bassel, Alia, Song Huo, Carina," Fay's voice sounds in his head.

The others also heard their respective fairy's voice to confirm the forming of their party.
