《Fantasial Apocalypse》Chapter 30: [ Evacuation ]

In order for him to get accustomed to it, Allen played with his newly acquired ability for a while. Flash of lightning streak one after another, accompanied by roars of thunder.
Lightning, the [ Lightning Mouse ] only looked from a distance as it licked its paws and “Purr Purr” twice, exceptionally meek. It seems like it knows how dangerous that lightning caused by Allen even for it.
After a few hours of tampering, while trying to understand his ability more, Allen got tired and so he sat on his bed. He then carried lightning towards him who affectionately curled on his lap and opened a potato chip.
The small and fat mouse immersed itself in eating right away. While thinking about his ability, Allen reached out to pinch its ears.
“Fate is really on my side. Now, we could be said to have more affinity with each other~”
To his surprise, the little monster cooperated by lifting its head and glancing at its owner. Then it gave a “Purr” sound then it rubbed its head on his stomach.
Allen stared blankly and laughed out.
At this moment,
“Allen!” Aileen’s voice rang out behind the door.
Aileen opened the door and said, “…An evacuation was happening not too far from here!”
“Evacuation?”
“Yes! There are many soldiers with large trucks but they were now being besieged by monsters.”
Allen stood up and looked at through the window. Just like what she says, although he couldn’t see them, he could still hear screams and series of deafening gunshots echoing in the whole place.
“What do you want to do?”
Allen thought for a moment, and then he scoops the yellow mouse and places it on the top of his right shoulder.
“Prepare, we’re going to help them!”
“Yes!” Aileen’s enthusiastic voice rang out in the whole room before rushing outside.
Allen stood up and took the [ PGM Ultima Ratio Hecate II ] that was leaning on the wall and slung the strap over his shoulder. It had a full-length of 138cm, weight 13.8kg, kind of huge size, 50 calibers, that is it uses 12.7mm diameter large size bullet.
From the weapons, he bought from Lucy, aside from the mask, [ PGM Ultima Ratio Hecate II ] was the only thing he took for himself. The [ Flamberge ] would be given to Mia while the [ Poison Arrow ] would be Alicia’s.
[ Intimidating Dagger of Acid ] and the [ XM29 OICW ] assault carbine was both given to Aileen on which she happily accepted.
… Besides, she never touched a gun like Hecate II so she never expresses any dissatisfaction about the item allocation.
Allen’s figure flashed a golden light and like lightning, in a split second, his figure disappeared from his room and then reappeared on the top of the roof.
He could rush there in a blink of an eye but, Allen would never leave Aileen and Alicia on their own accord. The whole city was littered with monsters, and if he leaves them alone and just rushed towards there by himself, something bad might happen to the both of them.
Allen was the type to protect the person beside him first than protecting hundreds or even millions of strangers.
Although this might sound a bit selfish, Allen never cared. Just like Mia had once said, he wasn’t a Hero, to begin with.

Allen appeared on the top of his house roof where it could give him a clear city view.
From here, I should be able to take a sniping position.
Allen took the Hecate II from his shoulder, unfolded the two legs and placed it on the ground. He then lay beside it, belly-flat.
Allen got into his sniping position and placed his face near his rifle's high-powered magnification scope.
He put his right eye against the lens, at the lowest magnification; he confirmed small dots moving in the city. He used his fingers to change the magnification dial. With small click sounds, the Sesame sized black dots became bigger and bigger, eventually changing to monsters and armed soldiers.
Inside his scope, he saw the huge commotion happening not so far away from his place. A wide area evacuation was currently happening. Huge military trucks and heavily armed soldiers could be seen escorting the civilians towards the vehicles.
However, numerous monsters were lying in wait to attack – though they were stopped by series of gunshots.
And then, a giant tiger with orange stripes managed to slip through and jumped in front of one of the vehicles. The civilians instantly panicked and scrambled in the ground.
Looking all of it through the scope, Allen’s right thumb cocked the trigger of the Hecate into a semi-auto mode.
Though he wasn’t really a trained sniper, with his ‘Past’ experience and his [ Equip ] skill, sniping target was a walk in the park. Besides, with a distance of less than 100m, Allen couldn’t possibly miss such a target.
Allen became quiet as his right index finger moved to the large trigger guard.
Thump, thump, his heart beat rapidly as he matched that rhythm while moving the reticle cross hair.
Distance, wind direction, and the target's movement speed meant he would have to target more than one meter to the upper right of it; he moved his finger to touch the actual trigger.
Bam!
A roar similar to thunder almost shook the world.
From Hecate II's front side muzzle brake, a huge flame erupted, the released bullet cut through the gun sound and moved forward.
The recoil shock pushed Allen and the rifle back, his entire body braced as he withstood the impact.
The bullet of the Hecate traveled in a straight line and finally landed directly in the middle of the giant monster tiger’s forehead, piercing through it.
With ‘Poff’ sound, the giant tiger fell on the ground with a bloody hole on its forehead.
Silence…
The soldiers even momentarily stopped shooting as they looked stupidly at the monster corpse. After a moment, their heads turned towards the direction where the bullet should come from.
Looking at his successful hunt, Allen proudly smiled.
I didn’t even need any practice shots. I was able to get a head shot with a gun I never used before~
“I guess I am a genius, after all,~”
… Although it wasn’t even 100 meters away.
“Oh?”
Allen found another on his scope and his right hand moved automatically and pulled Hecate II's bolt handle. With a metallic sound, a huge shell was ejected, which rolled away after hitting the roof.
Only three seconds had passed since his first shot. A semi-automatic rifle can fire continuously, but the bolt action Hecate II could not do that and so he needed to pull the bolt handle again.

While loading the next round of ammunition, Allen shifted his rifle slightly to the right, the second target; the one-horned Ape man rushing towards a group of soldiers was within his scope.
Allen pulled the trigger.
Bam!
Another roar. From Hecate II's merciless finger released a bullet that cut through the atmosphere and flew away.
As expected, another head shot. Although at this time, unlike the tiger from before, although the Ape man was shot on its forehead, it had still enough strength to rush – albeit only a few meters before falling down. Dead.
“…Hmm, what should I say in this kind of moment? Wait, that one… I am a single bullet. It has no heart. Therefore, it does not think. It just flies straight towards its target.”
Allen playfully thought while looking at the Ape man’s lifeless corpse.
“Allen!? Where are you? We’re already ready!”
“Hm, did Mister Allen go ahead of us?”
“…I think so. Should we leave now?”
Allen heard voices from inside the house. His right hand moved unconsciously, reloading the next round, his finger returning to the grip did not go to the trigger. “Aileen, Alicia I’m still here!”
“Ah! Allen!”
“Wait for me to get down~”
'Fuu~', Allen heaved a sigh and got up, changing the magazine of the Hecate which could normally hold 7 bullets, but didn’t have much left.
Then, he placed his rifle on his right shoulder and glanced at the direction where the evacuation was taking place before, with a flash of light disappeared into thin air.
---- ---
Allen, with Hecate on his right shoulder and lightning clutching on his left, rushed outside. Aileen and Alicia followed after.
Allen and his merry friends, run like the wind, never stopping.
Though the two girls had to run with all they had before catching up to the black clothed youth in front of them. To put it simply, their speed was completely different.
There were buildings and obstacles appearing on their way, and Allen seemed to have memorized them as he quickly dodged them or leaped over them. He would often turn his head around to match their speed, which made Aileen all the more unhappy.
Why are their specs so different? Aileen complained inwardly.
However, that can’t be helped; Allen was currently a Lv2 existence while she was only Lv1. Their difference was almost like heaven and earth.
Even so, it was because of Allen’s help, running in front of them and pointing their paths that were easy to move through, that they were able to pass through the city without problems. Furthermore, Allen was in front of them and whenever a monster popped out like a ghost, Allen immediately killed it with a handgun without wasting any second.
After a few minutes of traveling, Allen and the group finally arrived at the destination. Several monsters were gathered and encircling the whole place.
“We will begin after this explodes,” Allen muttered while calmly pulling out a grenade from his pocket.
Allen ordered Alicia to make some distance from the monsters as much as possible and never engage an enemy. After giving his orders, Allen immediately threw the grenade into a group of monsters.
The explosive hit one of the monsters bounced off on it, and then landed in the center.
Boom!!
With an exploding sound, a group of monsters was blown away, creating a clean path.
“Go!” As soon as Allen signaled, Alicia and Aileen immediately rushed towards the soldiers. Aileen pulled her carbine and aimed at the monsters I front of her while running.
Just like the monsters, the soldiers and civilians were also in the state of shock. Who were these people?
However, the first to gather their senses was, unfortunately, a monster. Looking at the two girls running towards the armored vehicles, one tiger-like monster leap towards them.
Graaarr!!
But, the moment it jumps up, its eyes were blinded by the light and in that moment, a figure flash in front of it before feeling its entire body go numb.
Dong.
The huge tiger monster fell on the ground together with a black clothed youth. Golden sparks flashed all over his body.
“That’s a no-go you know. Bullying girls isn’t my forte, so you should choose your own size~”
The two girls; Aileen and Alicia finally managed to regroup with the soldiers who were looking at them in shock while Allen stayed on the spot beside the dead monster. His actions remained nonchalant even though he was being surrounded by several monsters.
Graar!!
Grooaarr!!
Monsters growled as if they were threatening the black clothed youth.
All the people present, including Aileen and Alicia, felt anxious looking at him calmly standing in the center of the monsters.
“Silence.” A voice echoed.
Hearing this, all the monsters who were growling in hostility immediately shut up and began back in fear. They look like dogs cowering against a monster.
Allen narrowed his eyes and looked around him and saw how he intimidated the monsters. Although it seems like he didn’t do anything, in fact, he knows that this was because of his class skill.
It wasn’t clear but he had a feeling, or more like, it should be called intuition. This was [ Monster King’s Prestige ] skill he had heard he acquired when he used the Lord Class [ Monster King ].
When one obtained a class, they would instinctually be able to know or use the skills he had gotten as if it was the most natural thing in the world.
Allen was the same. He knows what skills he had gotten and he was able to use it naturally like it was his own limbs.
“If you don’t want to die, then beat It.” his cold voice ringing on the whole place.
The monsters fearfully step back but then one of the larger beast type monsters courageously leap towards Allen while baring his fangs.
Looking at it, Allen only smiled coldly and then he disappeared.
Under the watchful eyes of the people present, the black clothed youth just disappeared into thin air after they saw a flash of golden light as if it was lightning.
And then all of a sudden, the youth reappeared beside the monster which was hanging in mid-air.
“[ 30 Million Lightning Volt ]!”
Bzzzt!!
As soon as those words fell, on the tips of the youth’s hands emitted an electric burst. A discharged of blue colored electricity rushed towards the monster and electrocuted it.
Bam!
The monster fell from the air to the ground. Its corpse black scorched and was even smoking.
