《Fantasial Apocalypse》Chapter 148: [ Dungeon ]

The moment he found out the trading system in this place, he immediately hunted some games, of course, enough only for a few days as this was only used for bartering.
He can store them in his storage bag and they wouldn’t rot since time was frozen inside it.
The only thing that made Allen didn’t know whether to laugh or cry was that, since this city can be considered a backwater city, it didn’t know the value of a Monster Core, when Allen showed it to them.
Fortunately enough, they have never hunted Lv5 and above monsters yet so they have no opportunity to see it.
“How about some pomegranates?”
“Grapes?”
“Nah, I’m fine for now.”
Several people also called out but Allen refused and continued on his way. He was going to the forest again and tried looking for that said monster.
But for some reason, Allen couldn’t just find it…
Where the heck is that monster hiding?
Clack! Allen stepped a branch and made a sound of broken sticks.
It’s been a few days since he started his search but he couldn’t find anything. If not for the fact that monsters activities in this area were indeed unusually high, Allen would think that he was being pranked on by those playful Beauties…
With no luck, he found his way again to the enchanted waterfalls…
It was still the usual day… not any different.
- is what Allen thought when suddenly,
Shk, Clang, shk… he heard a sound.
Fighting…?
Allen heard some sounds of fighting… the distance would be, about half-miles away.
Allen was curious.

Upon arriving, Allen surveyed the battle from his position on the tree.
He saw that there was a man engaged in a bloody battle with a human-like figure wearing tattered clothes.
The man was in the early twenties to mid-twenties. Black skin, bald head and holding a huge axe that was burning in flames.
While his opponent was…
Red eyes, it has long claws and a tongue that almost like a snake, so long and whipping and lashing at the man.

Just with this Allen concluded that it wasn’t a human but a monster.
Looking at the monster, Allen’s crimson eyes glowed and he could see dark shadows enveloping the monster.
Undead!
And not just an ordinary undead… it was a ghoul!!
A ghoul is a monster or evil spirit in Arabic mythology, associated with graveyards and consuming human flesh.
In terms of undead monsters, Ghouls are above that of skeleton warriors and Zombies. They are much faster, stronger, possess high regeneration abilities and much more bloodthirsty!
Although they are still weakened by sunlight, it actually deals very little damage.
But why a Ghoul in this place?
Allen frowned. It’s still broad daylight and besides, why is it inside the forest. Ghouls are commonly seen in Graveyards...
As Allen was thinking suddenly, his eyes were attracted by something.
Under the bushes, between two huge trees, was an opening. It was dark so he couldn’t clearly see anything inside.
Don’t tell me…
A Dungeon?!
Dungeons are common elements in fantasy literature, mostly related to fantasy novels and online games.
In reality, it is a strong, dark prison or cell, usually underground and usually found in medieval castles. But in RPG terminology, Dungeons was a closed environment, usually full of enemies and loot.
Caves and ruins are among the most common forms. In some less open-ended games, outdoor environments might be considered dungeons as well.
In this transformed world, Dungeons also existed.
At first, people called it Magical Space, a place where you can fight monsters and find treasures.
It was called magical space because; it looked like another space, another world. Since monsters can’t leave the dungeon they were in, it looked like another world, a world for them.
However, later it was then changed into Dungeons… mostly, because it sounds cooler.
And for additional information, Dungeons are very popular. It was called Magical Place for a reason!
Like in Games, Dungeon monsters dropped something…
A part of the monster, gold coins, Yeah Gold Coins!
Not only that, if you are lucky, they will drop items and skill books! -- Although their dropped rate was very low…

And also like in Games, Monsters killed will spawn in later time. Dungeon reset always happen after a week, a month… depends on the Dungeon’s level.
In addition, the higher the class of the Dungeon, the stronger the monsters inside…
From what Allen knows, Dungeons are divided into F – A class. As for A and above, it should be difficult beyond imagination.
Experts presumed that it was a Dungeon with zero survival rates. It was only for Superhumans that had reached King rank and above. Though such Dungeon had never seen or heard…
- Probably have in this wide world but the discoverer doesn’t have any chance to tell it to someone before they die…
But still, Dungeons are extremely important, especially for grinding levels and skills….
That is why Dungeons are always monopolized. If someone found any Dungeons, they would likely be hidden from others…
It’s a treasure…
And so, if Allen wasn’t mistaken, then that small opening was an entrance to a Dungeon.
As if confirming his guess, another ghoul crawled from the opening, and then stopped not too far away from the entrance.
So this place is also still a part of the dungeon…?
There were Dungeons like this. The monster can exit the dungeon but only for a certain distance, other than that, they can’t go outside as if there was an invisible barrier. If not locked in a battle for a certain amount of time, they will just return inside the Dungeon.
The bald man was strong. Allen gives his kudos.
He was swinging the huge axe in his hand as if it has no weight at all.
Allen guessed that this bald guy-no, a warrior went inside the Dungeon, aggro a Ghoul then rushed to the exit making it go outside to fight it.
Truthfully that was a good plan. Ghouls are nocturnal creatures; they hate sunlight because it hurts their eyes, so it actually weakens it a bit.
“Burning Smash!”
He slashed down the huge axe on the ground and a couple lines of flames came out from the axe and run through the ground, burning the two Ghouls.
The Huge Axe is certainly a Magical Weapon, and it’s a flame type one.
A double-handed Magical Axe.
The Ghouls shrieked and rolled on the ground. Ghouls are known to be weak of fire.
The Bald Guy rushed towards the two Ghouls. His speed was extremely fast for someone holding that huge as* axe that seemed to weigh a ton.
The axe was swung and decapitated one of the Ghoul. The Bald Axe Warrior turned his body and faced the second Ghoul, still squirming on the ground.
When he finally killed the second one, the Bald Axe Warrior relaxed for a moment, but suddenly, another Ghoul leaped from his side.
A third one?!
The Bald Axe Warrior was surprised for the third Ghoul’s sudden appearance but he immediately raised his axe in front of him, trying to block the monster’s claws.
At this moment, when the Ghoul was already a meter away from him, Bang!
As if there was a bomb inside it, the Ghoul suddenly exploded.
It was then followed by a blue colored fireball, hitting the Ghoul and burning it to cinders.
“Who’s there!?”
The Bald Axe Warrior cried out.
He surveyed the surrounding with extreme vigilance.
“Hey, there~” A black-clothed youth came out from the bushes.
“Who are you?” The Bald Axe Warrior asked, narrowing his eyes while letting out killing intent.
Sadly, this bit of killing intent was like a small glass compared to Allen’s entire washing basin.
“You can call me, Magwayan…” Allen answered with a curtsy.
“Magwayan? I don’t think that’s a name.” He frowned.
“Indeed, it’s not my real name but, I don’t think you’re qualified enough to know my real name…” Allen taunted while wearing a faint smile.

Exuperius [DISCONTINUED]
Terravest. The northernmost continent of the world known by many names of legend, but is most commonly reffered to as Athora, has, for eons, served as the land of exiles. Human criminals, dark elves, grayskinned orcs and dwarves that preffer mining with machinery over the traditional pickaxe alike, have come to call this half-frozen hellhole their home. It is a land of great strife, calamity and crisis, where one legendary tale ends only to begin the next, heroes fall down and villains find themselves thrown into lava. Around seventy years ago, a legendary figure appeared out of seemingly nowhere and conquered three human nations, forming a kingdom worthy enough of being called a small empire. However, at the eve of his heirs ascension, the legend breathed his last, leaving this same bloated, chaotic realm without the pillar that kept it together. Already, the carrion nobility, still spiteful for being denied their "rightful" place below the sun, rise up and gather at the court, each eager to consolidate their own power in these troubled times. Tempers flare, power is exercised without restraint and no one expects the hedonistic prince to succeed at keeping the realm together. Alas, as is often the case with such tales, not everything seems to be as it might at first appear and the vain lords of the realm may yet come to regret their carrion will. --- The Content Warnings are there for a good reason. ---
