《Fantasial Apocalypse》Chapter 167: [ A Joiner! ]

The ghouls immediately rushed towards the group of monsters. Their speed and power are extremely astonishing. In just a few minutes, several severed heads have already flown in the air.
“Ho, undead…” Azi Dahaka’s voice out with some astonishment. “Your abilities are quite numerous…”
“Is that so?” Without hesitation, Allen shot off towards Azi Dahaka again.
“[ Insect Morph; Beatle Armor ]!”
“[ Beast Morph; Titan Ape’s right Arm ]!” Allen right arm suddenly turned humungous and ‘Bam!’ he smashed his fist towards Azi Dahaka. A crater was formed underneath the three-headed Dragon’s feet, still, he was still able to catch Allen’s transformed arm with his bare hands and stop it.
“[ Origin ]!” Allen’s arm reverted, transforming into lightning, Allen instantly appeared under the three-headed dragon’s gaze and, “200 Million Volt Spear !!”
As Allen opened his palm just inches away from Azi Dahaka’s abdomen, a ‘Bzzt!’ sound echoed and his arm flared with electricity.
From his open palm, a Lightning came out that looked more like the classic thunderbolt, hissing energy that made the hairs on anyone's scalp rise, and ‘Boom!’ the Lightning Spear, passed through Azi Dahaka’s body, and went struck the broken buildings behind him, incinerating and destroying everything in its path, as if a meteorite had just fell.
“Ugh!?” Azi Dahaka let out a painful groan, but Allen wasn’t finished. Transforming again into Lightning, Allen as if teleported, appeared on the three-headed dragon’s back. He raised his hand in the air, attacking once more when,
- Something snapped inside his head and a chill ran through his spine.
Allen’s eyes widened as his instinct was ringing inside of him. "Sh*t!?"
Upon the warning, he flipped around, but he was already too late. A white light spear pierced through his shoulder, stabbing Azi Dahaka’s back.
“Geyaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!”
“Aaaaaaahhhhh!!!”
Along with Azi Dahaka’s scream of agony, Allen let out a painful shriek as he felt his head wanting to explode. His entire body was screaming in pain as if something was burning his organs.
Allen was about to lose consciousness because of the pain. He never felt as much pain as this was before. It feels like he will die if he didn’t bite his teeth hard.
What is this?!
As Allen was having doubts, he suddenly heard Azi Dahaka who was also pierced together with him.

“What is this?! The Spear of Light?! How did…!?”
Spear of Light?
That sounds familiar…
“Hahaha, as expected of the great Azi Dahaka, you recognized it?” Suddenly a voice spoke above them.
Allen looked above him while stepping backward. The Spear of Light came out from Azi Dahaka’s back and Allen fell to the ground, panting. His face distorted in intense pain.
A beautiful man around mid-thirties with blonde hair and blue eyes. He has a black pair of wings on his back and he was wearing a white holy-looking robe.
Still, Allen recognized him.
“Bataliel!?” It was the fallen Angel; Bataliel!
Bataliel was a member of the Demon Army, one of the Demon Generals who wanted to reign over the world.
Angels have classes. The lowest are the Angels, then Archangels and lastly the Rulers. From what Allen know, the middle class are Angels of Powers, Virtues, and Dominions and the highest class were the Orphanim, Cherubim and number 1 ranked, said to be serving as the caretakers of God's throne, the Seraphim!
As far as he can remember, it was said that before Bataliel became a fallen Angel, he was actually one of the Angels of Powers, warrior angels, who also oppose evil spirits, especially those that make use of the matter in the universe and often cast evil spirits to detention places. However, he fell and became an evil existence – Though that was only hearsay.
And although they already were fallen, they still some of the power of light including the ability [ Spear of Light ].
It was one of the most destructive and effective against dark powers especially Undead. And Allen as having demonic as well as dark power inside of him, he was extremely vulnerable to it.
Osiris and his Devil Constitution made him extremely weak to holy powers.
“Aaaaaaaaaaah!”
Allen screamed as he grabs onto the spear, trying to pull it out.
His whole body goes through intense pain.
BURNS.
“Ugaaahhhh!!”
The sound of his flesh burning.
Hot! The palm of his hand that is holding onto the spear gets burned.
“So it was extremely effective, not only to the Monster King of demise but also to the newly enthroned King… what a pleasant surprise,” Bataliel spoke in a condescending tone.
“I actually thought you are a human but it seems like you are also tainted by the power of Darkness… looking at your appearance, a human turned demon?”

Bataliel chuckled after he sees him trying to pull out the spear.
“Give it up, a being tainted by darkness cannot pull that spear! To dark beings, lights are intense poison. Just touching it will make you burn—”
But before he could finish, Allen was already slowly pulling it out from his shoulder. Allen gnashed his teeth as he endured the excruciating pain coursing through him.
Bataliel’s eyes widened and he couldn’t help but sigh in amazement.
Azi Dahaka looked at Allen’s suffering and indifferently extended his arm. Grabbing the spear of light, his hand immediately emitted out a smoke but with his Godly strength, he successfully pulled it out from Allen’s shoulder.
Allen, liberated from the pain, kneeled on the ground, breathless.
“Ho, as expected of the great Monster King of Demise~” Bataliel whistled.
The three-headed dragon’s hand was burned and even bones can be seen through it but his expression only fell for a moment before it reverted back to normal as his wound starting to immediately heal up.
“What is the former 12th Watcher of the 20 leaders of the 200 fallen angels mentioned in the Book of Enoch doing in here? Even rudely interfering in our battle?” the six ruby eyes of the three-headed dragon asked coldly while glaring at Bataliel.
“Enoch, what a nostalgic name… However, I have already changed my name and became a new existence. Right now, I am Bataliel, the Monster King of the Fallen,” Bataliel curtsied.
“Then, what’s the reason of you sneak attacking us?” Said the right head of Azi Dahaka.
“Haha, it’s just a greeting~”
“A greeting? You call that a greeting?!” Allen screamed as he gritted his teeth and endures the pain. “You have no taste, brother…”
In his bloody hole, the blood was gone. If one looks closely, the puddle under his feet was slowly climbing through his body going to his wounds, as if cleansing it with water, it covered his wound and where the huge hole had been, was closing with an unbelievable speed.
As Allen watched, it turned into a small scar and disappeared. Instantly, he felt better.
Allen took a deep breath and slowly stood up, glaring hatefully at Bataliel. He will kill him! His mind screaming!
“Hehe,” The three-headed dragon chuckle at Allen’s words. He’s starting to like this guy.
“Hey, Bataliel, you didn’t forget about the tradition, don’t you?” Azi Dahaka spoke with a grin. “The tradition was made by the Kings’ Court, you can’t actually forget it? After all, you pledged…”
“…?” Allen looked at the three-headed dragon doubtfully. What is he doing? Of course, Allen knows what Azi Dahaka was talking about, after all, it was what he had done 3 days ago… but he actually said it himself…
Is he helping me?
Bataliel snorted. “Of course, I remember, that greeting doesn’t count. Here,”
Bataliel flipped his hand and a fist-sized obsidian-like stone materializes. He then throws it towards Allen, uncaringly.
Allen, of course, catches it. “What is this?”
“Some Dark arts… you might find it a bit useful…” Bataliel answered indifferently.
“You’re giving a skill to me? Do you know that I want to kill you?” Allen narrowed his eyes flashing an intense killing intent.
“Hahaha, then do it if you can, my new adopted brother.” Bataliel spread his arms wide as if emphasizing something. “Monster Kings are like family, you know, we treat each other pretty nicely in some weird ways. However, killing is different.”
“This is this and that is that…”
“Killing me or me killing you, is different from that, am I right? Azi Dahaka?”
“Hahaha, indeed…” The left head of the three head dragon answered. The right head then continued, “Just like in family conflicts, brothers’ killing brothers, sisters killing sisters, of course, lusted after siblings is completely ordinary…”
“What a complicated family I have then,” Allen snorted by his newly adopted family. It’s extremely barbaric and chaotic…
“Even though we call it family, it’s just nothing but a front. It was nothing but a gathering of special beings. Although our purpose was to maintain the balance of nature, keeping the Monster world in check but we are also Monsters!” Bataliel said coldly. “Our nature!!”
“Our ancestors, feeling pleased and satisfied with that nonsensical duty and responsibility had forgotten that fact… that we are MONSTERS! Our nature as special beings!”

Caught in a clash of empires and high tiers, they will do what little they can. They will step up and do their best. One way or another. The Infinite Labyrinth is a slice-of-life litRPG adventure set in a real historical setting. It's a hard, crunchy litrpg. Expect blue boxes everywhere, and the system itself is very mathy. It started life as a serial. I prepared some proper worldbuilding, with enough details and background for lots of different potential story arcs, but as I wrote, I realized the main story needs to have a definitive end. So, there are four books in total, for a bit under 1500 pages, plus additional side stories, and even maybe a sequel one day. The Gore tag was added as a precaution because there are a few scenes with some light gore.
