“Useless!!” Azazel roared in anger and a huge power surged from him, creating a shockwave that hit the surrounding tornadoes, blowing them away.
The force blows Qin, Baishe, and Dakna a few meters away. Even Allen and the Monster Kings were not spared. However, unlike Qin and the others, Allen and the other Monster Kings nullified the force with their own auras, completely erasing it.
They didn’t even budge.
“As expected of a Fallen Angel turned Celestial Demon, even with three Bishop Class opponents, he was still unmatched,” Echidna said in amazement. With that power just now, they had felt Azazel’s real nature.
“But even so, those three women are not bad as well. To be able to contend equally against a fallen angel from the Celestial Realm, their strength is undisputed.” Dorack nodded in praise. He then turned to Allen who was watching attentively. “New King, you have good servants~”
Allen smiled. “They’re not my servants but family…” He only replied before returning his eyes to the battle.
“Hmph, arrogant,” Ashetarah snorted in anger. She really hates Allen’s guts. “What do you mean by undisputed. They are still too weak… look, Azazel isn’t even showing his full power yet.”
“Mah, mah, even if they lose, to be able to fight against a lesser deity Celestial Demon, they are already worth of praise,” The Dryad Queen; Fauna said amiably. Her voice ever so gentle. “However, although this is indeed good experiences for them, you should really pull them back before it’s too late.” Fauna told Allen seriously.
“Azazel wouldn’t care about their lives…”
Allen shrugs. “I know,” In fact, he was already prepared to pull them back the moment they fell in danger. He had already prepared in advance. Still, he turned towards Fauna and nodded, “Thank you…”
“No problem,” Fauna gave a beautiful smile that had almost charmed Allen. Fortunately, he has quite high resistance to charm…
“Ah, right, I think I had still not introduced myself…” Allen turned around and bowed like an aristocrat. “My name is Allen, Allen Bando… the Monster King of Envy. However, humans call me either Thunder Emperor or Beast Emperor, It's a pleasure to meet all of you…”

“You have so many titles; extremely arrogant,” Ashetarah glowered.
“Please don’t make any offense, she’s Ashetarah, known as Flame Empress… she’s always like that.” Fauna said with a bitter smile. “Anyway, my name is Fauna, Queen of Driads as well as protector of nature spirits. It’s pleasure to finally meet you, King Allen. I heard so much about you from niece, the Queen of Elves, Falis.”
“You know Falis?” Allen asked in surprise.
“Yeah, she’s my niece in the name. She’s a good girl… though, she just too inflexible regarding the rules… please don’t blame her,” Fauna sighed. It seems like she knew Falis and Allen’s vague relationship.
“I never blamed her… not even once. Although it’s a pity but she has a path she had chosen herself… it’s just unfortunate that her path didn’t include me…”
Allen showed a sad look and this didn’t bypass Fauna’s attention. At this moment, her impression on Allen increased.
“Hmph, so you are that womanizer… disgusting for a King,” ‘Piteoy!’ Ashetarah spat out in disgust.
Allen magnificently ignored her.
“Sand King, Dorack,” Dorack bowed slightly. His expression amiable.
“King of the Titan Ogres and protector of the West Sea, Celiptian… it’s nice to finally meet you, new heralded king…”
“Mother of all Monsters, the name’s Echidna…" She then paused for a moment as her eyes narrowed. "I believe we had some things to discuss, King of Envy or should I call you, King Solomon?” Echidna walked– no slither towards Allen. She has a beautiful face, green hair, and black eyes.
However, similar to Baishe’s earlier transformation, her lower part was that of a huge tail of a snake with glistening bluish-pale colored scales.
Allen smiled. “Although I would never refuse a woman’s invitation, especially that of a beautiful woman, but, can I know about these ‘things’ that needed to be discussed? I beg your pardon but, I have no recollection of such things.”
Echidna’s smile didn’t disappear, “Glib lips as the legends say. However, have you forgotten your small interlude with my son? Even now he was eager to meet you again,” She was smiling but Allen can feel the chillness radiating from her.

Allen remained calm, “Son? I don’t recall such thing… have I threatened him before?” However, even though he was denying it, he has an inkling– no, he already has his suspicions as to who her son was…
“Then should I ask this question, perhaps it might help you recall what I was talking about –where did you get your title as the Monster King of Envy –my dear brother…?” A cold chill flashed her eyes.
As expected…
Allen sighed. “So he’s your son… quite charming, isn’t he…?” Allen recalled that huge Kraken–like creature that had almost killed him. Yeah, extremely charming that anyone who saw him would certainly faint to death.
“… Thank you,” Echidna showed a satisfied smile.
“Do you have some time… after this?” Allen tilted his head and immediately acted cute.
??
“You see, I’m looking for a possible date under the beautiful moon, drinking wine while reminiscing the past… of course, we can discuss things, very, very slowly… we don’t need to be so violent over this… am I right?”
“… …” A cold pair of eyes was the only response.
Allen was stumped. “Fine, that was certainly my mistake…” so he could only sigh. “But can’t you give that to me as a gift for my enthronement…?”
Echidna sighed. “As you wish… however, I will be waiting for your visit, King Solomon…” A beautiful smile returned from her face before she turned around and walked away.
Allen wanted to wipe his sweat when the all familiar King Oceanus, walked over and with a gentle expression, he stretched his hand at Allen. “Oceanus, Monster King of the Sea… though I get this feeling that we had met before…have we?”
“Is that a pickup line?” Allen frowned and a playful smile appeared on his lips. “… However, it’s unfortunate to say this but I’m not a woman nor was I interested in men. I’m straight and my only interest belongs to women,” Allen’s replied caused Oceanus to redden his face.
He was about to say something when Allen continued with a mischievous smile; “Of course, especially to Pacifica… In fact, I’m currently looking for a wife. I’m confident in myself, gentle, handsome, kind and extremely filial… of course, my only demerit is that I’m just too perfect. So what do you say, father-in-law~?”
“Get lost!!” King Oceanus raised his leg and kicked at Allen which the latter only easily avoided it while laughing.
“Father-in-law, you can’t just murder your valuable prospective son-in-law~” While laughing, Allen cried out.
“Father-in-law your face!! This is the end! I’m going to murder you, you bastard!!” King Oceanus snapped and he angrily rushed towards Allen. However, he was suddenly kicked by Sun Wukong at the side.
“Why you!!”
“Calm yourself down, you idiot…” Sun Wukong smiled wryly. “He’s just messing with you…”
When it comes to his youngest daughter, this amiable and strict king would immediately become an idiot.
Allen landed in the golden cloud. Staring at King Oceanus that was glaring at him, Allen felt some kind of satisfaction. This bastard… he had hidden several things from him in the previous life… and even though I treated him as a friend, a brother, he didn’t help me in the war…this ungrateful daughter-con bastard!!
“If you dare taint my lovely angel, I’m going to kill you bastard!!”
“Heh, a monster king and not even a Christian was calling his daughter an angel… man, grow up will you, daddy. Daughters are meant to be married off…”
“You dare!!”
Allen laughed while looking at Oceanus.

The Animo Saga
Before history was well-recorded in the world of Ulakam, primordial animal spirits adopted humans, provided protection and developed deep spiritual connections with them. Millennia later, humans now host animal spirits and are split into tribes named for the species they host. Ulakam is slowly being consumed by a decades-long war pitting the main tribes against the smaller tribes and a group of bandits calling themselves "the resistance". Callida Animo was born into this world. Coming from a mixed family of generational soldiers, Callida joined the family business at a young age. In her words, she was practically bred, born, and raised to be a soldier. And she's good at what she does... which inevitably attracts attention that makes her unambitious self extremely uncomfortable. Love, loss, influence and growth. This is her story. Written episodically, this story focuses on relationships and character growth through a series of mini-arcs that connect to make a greater whole. (Honestly, the story would lend itself well to a TV series.) "Episodes" range from 3-7 chapters (at least so far), and average about 4 or 5 chapters. Author's note: I'm always thrilled to receive comments, follows, ratings/reviews, messages.... All forms of feedback are welcome and encouraged. However, I have no interest in begging readers for more engagement to get better visibility. I tried that with my last story and found the game soul-sucking. So! This constitutes my only self-promotion request. If you are reading this story, let me know what you think! I love engaging with my readers. We'll see if growing the readership organically is even possible. Thank you! 😘 Release schedule: Weekly on Wednesday afternoons
