Chapter 408: [ 2nd day War starts (3) ]
The emergence of the giant Titans startled the people standing at the top of the City wall.
The number of Titans had doubled that of yesterday as there seemed to be dozens of Titans right now. Even several Nephilims could be seen following the Titans at the back, flying and beating their black feathery wings.
"……Lord Rajmund, things aren't looking too good for us! If that fellow meets some kind of mishap, our chances of winning this war would plummet! We'd better go help the young lord immediately!"
“Is that something needed to say…?” Lord Rajmund chuckled. “Everyone! What are you still doing here?! Are you just going to let an important guest do all the actions!? That would become a shame to us that would never be forgotten!!”
“OOoooooohhhhh!!!!”
“Let’s move!!!!”
“Chargeeeee!!”
Lord Rajmunds words woke the people up from their daze due to Allen’s performance and yell one after another.
Never before were there this many strong monsters gathered together for a reason, and he was going to take them all on.
Suddenly, Lord Rajmund raised his hands.
"We are just starting. Archers and Magic users, prepare to fire!"
Lord Rajmund walked towards the group wearing magical looking robes and Archers waiting on the rear of the group since the start of the battle. There were over fifty thousand arrows available for their bows. The Godkin and High human Archers pointed their bows askew at the sky and waited for the Lord’s command.
Even magic users that know long range spells started chanting one after another.
After a few minutes, Lord Rajmund’s eyes narrowed and; "Fire!"
Woosh.
Shooo!!
Shooo!!
Wooosh!!!
This was the first arrow attack since the battle started.
"Do not stop."
Then, it was then followed by hundreds of others and even magic attacks such as fireballs, wind slicer, fire arrows and many kinds of magic completely covered the sky. The dozens of arrowheads and magic sparked amidst the Lightning Storm that was still raging across the battlefield.
The monsters immediately relied on their tough skin and carcasses to block the attacks.
Awwwoooohhhh!!!
Aaaarrrrrhhhh!!!

Rooooaaarrrr!!!
With arrows landing everywhere, the monsters and demons cried out in pain, especially those who were standing in the front foremost.
Allen didn’t move as he watched the rain of arrows and magic. Explosions rang out around him but nothing could be discerned from his expression. Only a slight smile as if enjoying everything.
After a few minutes of raining down arrows and magic –
“For the City!!!!!!”
“For Gloryyy!!!!!”
“Aaaaahhhhhhh!!!!”
“OOooooohhhh!!!”
Dozens of people kick the wall and jumped from the wall. Some even flew into the sky in every possible means; flying with magic, generating wings, or jumping extremely high using only the physical strength. Nevertheless, they began to mobilize.
“They looked extremely excited though –completely different from before. They look as if they are going to their own funerals before but now look at this people…” Allen muttered helplessly.
“Well, that should be thanks to you~”
Allen turned his head and saw several Elders at his right side engaging with enemies. Even princess Anahita was there –though, she was surrounded and seemed to be strictly protected by several Elders and Servants… including Aytan.
So, she also knows how to fight… huh…
That’s a news to me~
“Me? No way,”
“Hahaha, don’t be so modest young lord. The young lord’s impassioned speech struck a chord with everyone, lighting the flames with them.” One of the Elders laughed as he sent a monster flying away. “And now with that incredible performance, even I myself felt ashamed…”
“… …”
Allen’s lips curled upwards as he shook his head. Whatever…
“That’s why, please be careful, young lord! In this war, your existence holds a special meaning to all of us. Please don’t be so reckless…”
“Hahaha,” Allen couldn’t help but laughed while dodging through the continued attack of the monsters and was progressing rapidly across the battlefield. Every monster he had passed, all were killed in an instant by beheading or by blasting it away.
Regarding his elegance in movements and dodging abilities that were much better than anyone while care freely laughing nonchalantly, the other people who saw it did not feel any surprise about the young lord’s omniscience anymore and could only conclude that there were things in the world that could not be explained with normal means.

“Well, this is not a matter of winning or losing for me anymore…” Allen softly muttered. It wasn’t loud and was easily covered by loud roars and explosions. It’s more like he was only talking to himself.
He continued; “For me, the important thing is right now… this is my battlefield! I haven’t had a battle this exciting since I had come back…”
Although there were many depressing things happened in his previous life but… “That was certainly an enjoyable world…”
Really… I never thought I would still be able to fight like this once again in my life…
To be able to step forth onto a battlefield again… hehe, what a joyous event.
I had always suppressed myself up until now… but now… “I don’t have to do that anymore… right?”
I can’t feel ‘Allen’ existence as if he doesn’t exist. The connection within us had seemed to have severed apart since he had broken free from his binding.
So now, I can let loose…
“Entertain me more…!!!”
Allen felt his feelings soar in his chest and unconsciously raised his right hand up high.
The Lightning storm that was raging across the entire battlefield and was slowly getting weaker had apparently stopped for a moment before it suddenly gathered into one location.
Above Allen’s position, an extremely dark as ink thick clouds accumulated and,
BANGGG!!!!!
A huge streak of lightning bolt struck Allen from above. This sudden scene attracted the attention of every creature and under their stunned gazes, a ball of golden light emitting electric sparks appeared from Allen’s hand.
Holding the ball of light, Allen smashed it into the ground beneath him. Booooommm!!! A deafening explosion rang out and the ball of light struck the ground.
At that moment, a shockwave that was filled with electric powers spread and became snake-like chains of lightning, running through the ground and swept across the entire battlefield within a blink of an eye.
The circular array of electricity devoured everything within a radius of 30 meters.
Unlike the explosion of normal magic power which could be defended against with shield or thick steel –like skin, the lightning was impossible to block with simple protective gear. The monsters couldn’t evade properly because it was too crowded.
And even if they were to run, the only place they could go was into the sky but for those who couldn’t fly, they didn’t have any choice but to wait for their bodies to be electrocuted and be burnt alive.
It was certainly a very dangerous attack but for some reason, the people who were fighting suddenly realized that although at first glance it might seem to be a random and indiscriminate flurry of attacks, but in actuality, it wasn’t.
The evidence could be seen from how the human warriors and soldiers who had a panic attack just now after seeing Allen’s attack were still able to continue fighting without suffering injuries when the lightning sparks touched them.
In comparison, the monsters and Titans who had received the direct attack had started to tremble and fell down one by one, emitting burnt smokes.
What a very wonderful control of power…!!
“OOooooohhhh!!!”
Someone’s shout, like an introduction, was responded by more people and it soon created an uproar among others. At first, only the warriors within the battlefield responded with loud shouts, but later even those standing in the City wall could not help clenching their fists and cheered loudly.
They were watching the battle with heated gazes.
Allen patted his black coat over the shoulder in a leisurely manner as he glanced at the Titan group that was rushing towards him. In response to his every movement, not just the Titans, but even all the monsters too trembled and step back.
At his feet were several dozens of defeated monsters. The scraps of flesh lying around were from the rabid monsters that he had torn apart a while ago.
There was probably a no good explanation for this unknown creature. Even Lord Rajmund and the other Elders, stood dumbfounded and marveled at his nonsensical abilities. His power and abilities alone were really out of ordinary God descendants.
It’s as if he was a primordial or even a real High God…

Gaming on a MUD is difficult.
This is a story based on my characters background and journal that I played on a mud (Multi User Dungeon) over the course of several years. Dozens of people play a text based command line game at the same time. I figured I'd try to turn in into a story to see if anyone found it interesting. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think. This is my first time so not very experienced. It is a story about how going into a multi player game expecting a typical RPG experience turns into something else because other players are involved.
