Chapter 771: [The Tamed Beasts Power (2)]
“... God of Light, I pray thee… blessed thou children and protect them from harm…”
Elena muttered as she started her own incantation.
Elena Balder and Fiona’s incantations reverberated through the air.
Meanwhile, the twin-headed giant monster managed to get its knees under its body and started to right itself.
“You couldn’t stay down for just a little longer?!”
Whether it finally gained control of its anger or it remembered what Grafilia was doing, the giant continued its advance across the great plain.
Qin quipped at the beast in frustration because Grafilia’s magic was not yet ready.
The stronger it becomes, the harder it can be controlled. And Grafilia knows that it’s just not enough for it to be just strong—against the twin-headed monster that can destroy an entire Empire alone in just one night, given the name Destroyer of Worlds, Grafilia’s attacks is yet to be enough against it in its current form.
She still needed time to consolidate all her power!
And Qin knew it.
“I didn’t want to use this in front of so many people, but…I guess, I have no choice!”
A tone of resignation in her voice, she reluctantly leaned down.
The lightning sparks around her flickered and Qin’s Lightning Qirin’s form reverted back to her humanoid form.
A long bushy tail behind her, a single spiral horn at the center of her forehead, she stands over two meters tall, possessing a fair complexion, sharp red draconic eyes, and waist-length silver hair that looks like strands of mercury—she was extremely proud of, saying it was almost similar to her beloved master.
Her body is quite well-built with a slender toned torso, like a person from the Amazon tribe. Perfectly healthy, she possesses a slender beautiful neck and toned arms and legs. Though her current form is humanoid in appearance, she possesses several features that are decidedly more beastly, including sharp-clawed hands, and large furry horse-like legs ending in thick hooves.
She possesses two large pure-white angelic wings that span several times the length of her body as they unfurled on her back.
“Sister Qin!”
Mireya called out.
“I’ll take its attention,”
Qin nodded at her.
“You and Sister Fiona, pour everything you’ve got and protect Grafilia- we need to kill this monster immediately and support the Master as soon as possible!”
“Yes!”
Qin gripped her fist and her expression turned solemn.
“Now, let’s do this,”
Qin grinned coldly as strings of golden lightning forming around her claws. Bright golden lightning crackled around her.
Wooosh.
Bright yellow sparks flew as she charged at the Twin-headed War Giant with reckless abandon. Her speed and power doubling.

"Lightning God's Breath!"
Qin roared and a huge crackling beam of lightning shot at the twin-headed giant.
The monster was startled by Qin’s speed and halted, its two arms holding its axe crossed in front of its chest.
BOOOM!!
The lightning beam flew past through it, vaporizing a long line of trees and plants behind it.
ROOOOAAAAAARRRR—!!
The War Giant let out a painful roar as it felt its entire body gone numb, stunning it.
"Die for my Master!"
Qin suddenly appeared underneath one of the giant’s heads, making the monster widen its eyes in shock. Then, with her body coated with bright lightning, Qin throws an extremely powerful left uppercut under its chin.
“My turn!”
A voice rang out from behind Qin.
Qin smiled and flashed, disappearing from her position. Then, Mireya arrived, replacing Qin and her Wolverine claws slashed in an X-pattern.
Blood spurted along with a miserable howl. One of the two giant eyes of the monster was immediately blinded, but the pain triggered the twin-headed giant’s reaction and snapped out from its numbness. It roared at Mireya and slash down one of its axe, trying to cleave her apart.
However,
“—Come, fiery of volcanic wrath, punished the sinner standing in front of your reign. Dust to Dust, burn my enemies asunder!”
The twin-headed giant slashing down its battle axe at Mireya while cupping its injured eye with one hand, looked up at Fiona as the griffon finished her song spell. Her body coated in blazing crimson flames.
The twin-headed giant tilted its head in disbelief as the female griffon flew in front of its face. Even Mireya and the other people were momentarily stunned by the girl zipping through the air as if she was a blazing war god.
Fiona’s thin eyebrows curved downward at the motionless beast before she unleashed her magic.
“Griffon Flame Lord!!”
CryaaaaaaaaahhhhhhHHH—!!!
From behind Fiona, an enormous figure suddenly appeared after all the flames in her body gathered, turning into a monster of flames, a large griffon-like being.
“For my master’s glory! Burn!!”
The delicate and beautiful face that was revealed there appeared to be faintly holding a somewhat insane smile.
As he watched the smile on Fiona’s face, even the unfeeling war giant trembled coldly.
At the same time, Fiona, standing in front of Mireya violently and instinctively willed the enormous blazing figure of a griffon behind her with a wave of her arms forward.
The Blazing Griffon Lord let out a loud cry that reverberated throughout the entire battlefield, it even caused shock and surprised to the War God Tyr and Pandora who was dawning the persona of Princess Ilse, the princess of the Frost Giants of Niflheim, as they stared at the almost ten to fifteen meters in height, appearing extremely majestic and powerful.

Even the heat that had covered the entire Asgard was like the heat of the sun in close range. If all of them were at least normal people, they would have been incinerated into ashes in an instant just by feeling this heat!
“How is this…?!”
“This power! It had already reached the power of the Initial Mid God Fire Deity!”
“This is incredible!”
Shock and awe spread in the entire Asgard. Even the high-ranking Demons that were fighting Allen and the others felt intimidated by the Griffon Lord that had appeared.
Lord of the Sky!
Conqueror of the Heavens!
King of Beast!
It’s as if, at this very moment, the Flaming Griffon Lord was displaying to each and every person on the battlefield, why in the Ancient times, Griffon stood on equal ground with the proud dragons, given the title of one of the Mythical Sacred Beast that was hailed as the King of Beast!
The Flaming Griffon Lord rushed towards the Twin-Headed War Giant, who was still in shock. It was running in the sky, and with every step it takes, it’s as if it had burned the air that fireballs appeared on its tracks.
However, this beast running towards it, like a dog that had seen a bone, caused all the hairs on the Twin-Headed War Giant to stand erect.
The Flaming Griffon Lord let out a loud roar the shook the entire Asgard and pounced at the panicking Twin-Headed War Giant like an enraged dog.
When it was about to reach the giant monster, the raging Flaming Griffon Lord abruptly began to riot. The Flaming Griffon Lord bit at the neck of the struggling War Giant and immediately afterward, it swelled up and closely following this ——
——An uncontrollable, world-shaking explosion reverberated through the empty air.
“Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaang—!!!!”
A destructive like energy spread out from the spot where the Flaming Griffon Lord and the War Giant had been. At this moment, waves of ripples surfaced in the empty air. The ripples spread and passed through the towering peak of a mountain in the clouds not far away.
The peak of the mountain suddenly burst apart and the part where it cracked off from the main mountain was as smooth as a mirror. Even the dark clouds in the sky caused by Qin and the other lightning powers cleared up into a beautiful clear blue sky.
The entire forest and Asgard shook and the monsters and Asgardian alike were blown away and even the buildings and the City Wall cracked from the shockwave. Fortunately, it was just physical impact and so the barrier was just left barely unscathed. If that kind of power hit the barrier head-on, Asgard would have been destroyed long ago.
“AAaaahhh!! Sister Fiona’s too crazy!”
Lightning couldn’t help but mumble in complaint as she hurriedly held on towards Caseus, the Golden Holy Cicada Dragon that had managed to catch her safely.
“Safe!”
Caseus muttered as she covered Lightning within her wings, keeping her from the impact.
Caseus Golden Holy Cicada Dragon was the evolution of the Golden Dragon Bug that Allen had gotten from Alkrasha when he was still in China.
It has now evolved into a Dragon-Bug Specie, following Allen loyally.
She was a wasp-like insect roughly the size of a Ferrari with a brightly colored, highly resistant exoskeleton, which is covered in spines and knobs. She has a barbed stinger at the end of her abdomen and flies using three pairs of golden wings.
Just like an insect, she has six legs; the foremost pair is armored and weaponized for combat and a pair of collapsible golden wings. Her real head is hidden beneath a large, armored canopy that extends far beyond the rest of her upper body. She has a pair of compound eyes and powerful slicing mandibles, that can tear apart even the hardest vibranium and can chew Adamantium like it was a cheap cookie.
However, although her strength and speed were not among the strongest of Allen tamed beasts, and even though it was a Dragon Specie, it was the weakest among the Lesser Dragons, but, Allen treasured Caseus greatly.
Not only her holy and healing powers stronger than any of the High-level Celestial Healers he knows, Caseus secreted metals that are much harder and stronger than Vibranium or Mythril of Elves after devouring any metal substance. Well, even without it, Allen was greatly fond of Caseus due to it being the first present of Alkrasha to him.
However, Allen’s metal works increased in proficiency by leaps and bounds because of Caseus who can process metal substance inside her belly after consuming it, causing incredible metals with specific properties; whether he needed a hard and tough metal or flexible and hard metal, to be within reach.
In addition, among Allen’s tamed beasts, Caseus was one of the gentlest, reasonable, and protective to all of her siblings; especially the little ones like Lightning and Grim. Probably due to her innate characteristics as a Queen of her race, she was quite noble in many aspects of her personality.
“Jeez, and even though Master told them to take it easy…”
Lightning sigh inside Caseus protective embrace.

Thief of Time
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Book 1: The Legend of Tot Synopsis: Claud Primus, a self-declared master thief, has a simple goal. To live forever. It's a rather easy task, for miraculous objects called lifestones are able to extend one's lifespan. These lifestones are best found in the treasuries of nobles, lovely resorts that Claud pays a visit to every so often. Unfortunately, one of those nightly visits go awry, and Claud is forced to escape with just a single lifestone and a box in hand. Normally, that's when things die down. The guards yawn, the gates close, and the night continues. But this time, the night isn't that forgiving. A dozen schemes result in the murder of someone important, and with a convenient scapegoat — Claud — at hand, it doesn't take long for him to be framed as a heinous criminal, wanted for the indirect murder of someone high up...and it just gets worse from there. Book 2: The Moon Lords' Rise Synopsis: As ordered chaos sweeps across Licencia, Claud leaves for Julan Barony, intent on making some profits there. Accompanied by the erstwhile heiress of Julan, a fellow member of the Moon Lords, the two plot against the barony's wealth...as well as a promise to bring about its downfall. Meanwhile, back home, the Moon Lords have busied themselves with digesting their gains. Eyes, however, are beginning to turn to this proverbial fish in a small pond. The fishermen are coming. When they cast their hook, what will Dia and the others do? Book 3: Murders under the Moons Synopsis: In the sleepy town of Nachtville, where Claud and Lily are forced to stop at, a set of nasty murders occurs. Victims scream out in fright, before a spear falls from the sky to end their suffering. Cowed and cautious, the master thief and his partner slink in the shadows, their objective that of home... A new task, however, has fallen on Dia. With a trusty helper at her side, she has to set off towards Nachtville itself, to solve the mystery Claud had abandoned. Faced with an enemy whose sole skillset is geared towards killing, how will they succeed? And what dark secrets will they find? Book 4: In the Dark of the Moons Synopsis: The year has ended. The four months of the full moons will soon be followed by two months of the new moons. Duke Istrel's ascension is around the corner. Amidst this political upheaval, Count Nightfall, Licencia's strongest defender, has been called away. The Moon Lords' largest task yet — to protect Licencia in the absence of its ruler — has begun. And yet, trouble is unrelenting. A distinguished personage, one that Claud fears, has been found dead in the county, his brains dug out and his body disemboweled. The inquisitors of the White Church have been dispatched to investigate and apprehend the murderer...as well as the person behind this puppet. Tormented by a call to fight, Claud directs his eyes out of the city, looking for the puppetmaster. Skulking in the shadows, the master thief will soon confront his greatest foe yet. A foe just like him. Book 5: Moonlit Tides and Darkened Seas Synopsis: A new era has begun. For the privileged, the sands of time dribble away for every passing moment, counting down to the arrival of a entity of mythical proportions. The night now harbours shadows and fog, and operatives of the Moons and the Dark clash in shadow. Claud, as usual, is investigating a spate of nasty disappearances in the city, but little does he know what these disappearances truly mean. And yet, a tide is coming. When it finally breaks, what will he do? Book 6: Secrets in Shadow Synopsis: The person behind a strike that would enter the annals of history flees his home, bringing with him the person closest to his heart into a new land and into a new world. Having left Istrel for the first time in his life, the two of them attempt to settle down in foreign lands, only to be caught in the middle of hostilities between two mighty powers grappling for dominion. Yet, none of that has anything to do with him. Following his desires, Claud eventually makes his way to the fabled Celestia Ruins, a fragment of another world. Bearing witness to truths he cannot yet comprehend, he returns from his exploration, a small break away from the machinations of destiny. One thing, however, is for certain. Destiny will not wait for him. Book 7: Reddest Rage Synopsis: Destiny churns on, heedless of mortal machinations, and Claud watches as the battlegrounds between the Moons and the Dark are drawn up. With the forces of the great Dark occupying Lostfon, Claud comes to a startling realisation — that he may have very well be a murderer of heinous proportions. Grappling with that realisation, he struggles to prepare for his Second Tutorial... Back in Istrel, Dia finds herself confronted with a perennial truth. Even in a time of writhing destiny, the machinations between nobles never cease to end — and unfortunately for her, the group once known as the Moon Lords are forced into dealing with a petty squabble between two counts. What they didn't account for, however, was the startling discovery they would soon make... And the shadow of the Red God's Holy Son behind it all. Book 8: Darkness Descends Synopsis: Nightmares haunt the horizon as Claud sinks and awakens from a seeming dream. What was once illusory begins to play out before him, in a way he cannot imagine. Dia, forced to wield arms, begins and ends a battle that opens her eyes to the vast dangers that lurk in this sundered world. Under the banner of humanity and divinity, she beholds the silent, forgotten protectors of Orb...but there is no forgetting the battle between the divinities. The Dark descends, the Moons writhe, and the horns of war blow once more. But this is not their battle. Not yet. Book 9: Moons Muster Synopsis: As more and more events fall into place, Claud finds himself desperate. Not for himself, but for the person who has turned into his world. Armed with the knowledge of a certain future, he approaches the only person that could possibly help him in his time of need, trading information for a promise of help. With that as solace, he returns to the grim task of understanding and seeking, revisiting an ancient, shattered fragment of another world...unleashing changes that he never knew was possible. Back in Istrel, Dia and the others must now navigate around a familiar spirit, who seeks to investigate the death of his master's Bearer. With them as prime suspects, the Seekers of Life must move carefully...but the Coloured Gods are not the only divinities eyeing them closely.
