《Breaking Limits: A DBZ Fan-fic》Chapter 23

Their adventure was nearing an end. They had but one dragon ball remaining. Of course that meant Pilaf would soon be introduced. Which also meant that it would be a full moon in the night. Sarada was staring at the sky as that thought entered her mind. Kakarot can be careless so she'll make him wear the glasses. Maybe she'll wear her own. She liked the way they looked on her and she liked to watch the night sky. Especially with a full moon. It was beautiful. She was already planning the night. They would defeat Pilaf, maybe destroy his entire castle. He might summon the dragon. He might not. Either way she would be summoning the dragon. She had something in mind. Actually she had two things in mind. She could either ask the dragon to grant her and her entire family control over their ape forms. As it was, Sarada had zero control over the form. She was sure Gine was in the same boat since she was not a fighter. Obviously Kakarot lacked control. He never used the form. She didn't know if Raditz could control it or not though. Or she could ask the dragon for a Senzu garden. She found that wish to be very practical. She realized that there was never enough Senzu in the canon verse. Apparently Yajirobe had eaten an entire pot of the beans. Korin had been saving them for years and Yajirobe practically ate them all. The senzu plant was very delicate. It needed magic touch, which she had. But it was time consuming. It takes one full year for the tree to produce ten or something. Sarada wasn't sure about the amount, but she did know it took a full year. So if she had a garden full of the stuff it would prove to be very handy.
She also realized that the beans were scarce for plot reasons.
In the end she decided that both wishes had their values for her and the future Z fighters. The first more so for her family of saiyans.
There are of course other wishes could be made. She could ask Shenron to increase the earth gravity by one every year. That would be very profitable. If the gravity continued to increase the humans would have to adapt and grow stronger. But of course if the gravity increased the planet would die. Everything would change.
Let's start with the effect on the earth's orbit around the sun. An orbit is a delicate balance between gravity, which pulls a planet toward its star, and the planet's velocity, which tends to carry it away into space. A sudden change in gravity disrupts the balance, resulting in Earth moving into a new, tighter elliptical orbit. At its closest, Earth will pass about 9% to 10% closer to the sun than it usually does.
That should be enough to trigger catastrophic climate change, leading to widespread famines and probably the collapse of the global economy, but it might not kill everyone
But then again things might work differently in this world. Maybe the rules of science are different. Maybe they are completely ignored. Maybe the gravity could increase and nothing out of control would happen. Ya never know when it comes to the realm of dragon ball.
Another wish was to make all humans age as the saiyans do. It wouldn't be bad. Everyone would look young for the age of fifty something or around those numbers, plus they would be stronger and could work longer. Of course it would majorly benefit the Z fighters seeing as they are just humans and can be put out of collision faster than the saiyans.

Another wish is to grant humans zenkai boosts. They would grow faster. Get stronger and might actually keep up with saiyans some what.
There is so much she could wish for. So much she saw benefiting the planet and herself. But she had one wish. Which should she choose.
She could also wish to make the earth immune to ki attacks. The world gets blown up so many times in the future that Sarada found it unfair for the humans. If the earth was immune to ki attack such things might not happen. Maybe the earth would just obsorb the ki and put it to good use. It might use it to help the plants grow faster and better. That means more oxygen and food. Maybe eating those plants will be good for people. Maybe it helps with their own ki. Keeps them healthy.
There was so much the dragon balls could do. Sarada found that they never met their full potential in the anime or manga.
Chichi would always complain about money. She would force Kakarot to get some stupid job just to earn money, when they could just gather the dragon balls and wish for money.
Canon Bulma was worried about growing old and such. She could have wished for eternal youth. She could have wished to age like the Saiyans.
That is why Sarada was proud of the Bulma she got to know. She was more practical. She understood that aging like a saiyan would be beneficial. She understood that being a saiyan would make her stronger in the long run. She understood the saiyans or at least she was trying to.
Sarada liked this version of Bulma and would always be proud.
Another thing. Vegeta always wants to surpass Kakarot. The fool could just wish to be stronger than the hero. Of course his saiyan pride would not allow that. Sarada understood. But his saiyan pride didn't mind the idea of being immortal. Wish for that or something. Maybe he gave up on the idea because he had a family.
Did anyone ever think to get rid of their enemies with the dragon balls. Of course they could not wish to kill anyone for it was not within Kami's powers. But during the saiyan arc they could have just wished for Vegeta and Nappa's ships to explode. Saiyans cannot breathe in space. They would die. The same could go for Frieza. Why didn't anyone think to wish the alien to a nearby star? Even if he could breathe in space Sarada doubt he could survive near a scortching star. The star would pull him in and he would burn to death. There. Problem solved. No lives needed to be lost. The same went for Cell.
And Majin Buu. That pink abomination. Sarada always thought that Dende should have wished to make Kakarot stronger than Buu. He would have clapped those cheeks. But it probably wouldn't work. Dende was not as strong as Kakarot so the wish could not be made by him. Maybe if Kakarot were to make the wish himself.
What about the heart virus. When they found out Kakarot was sick, couldn't they just wish it away with the dragon balls?
Couldn't future Trunks travel to planet Namek in his timeline, wish everyone back to life and restore the planet to what it was before the attack of the androids?
Stupid.
No one ever thought of these things and it was never said that they could not be granted.
"Hey Sarada"
The young saiyan glanced at Bulma, who was watching the road. She started to remember what her system had said. She could make Bulma a saiyan, but how would she explain it to her? Maybe she could just tell her the truth. It was just an ability she had. Would that even work? Should she just pretend that she wished for it?

"What are you doing after this whole thing? "Bulma was thinking about that a lot. Kakarot would go off to train under the turtle hermit. Maybe she would as well. That left Sarada. She hadn't said what she would be doing after the whole dragon ball situation.
"I'm setting off again" Sarada admitted. She saw no point in keeping it a secret. She would have to leave at some point.
Kakarot leaned forward at that. Why was his sister setting off for space? "Why? "
"There's something I need to do" was Sarada's answer.
Bulma frowned. She's saying that again. She didn't like when Sarada said that. It meant she didn't plan on telling what she planned on doing until it was the day she had to leave or after she returned. The last time she refused to take her with. Would she let her come along this time around? She's stronger now, isn't she?
"Can I come with you?"
Sarada raised an eyebrow at the question. "You want to come with me? "
"Yes " Bulma nodded, determined.
"What about your training with master Roshi?" Sarada was sure the girl planned on accompanying her younger brother.
"It can wait"
"You don't even know where I'm going. What if the planet has overpowered monsters? Storms that can make the strongest shiver in fear? You think about that? "
Bulma glared. "You know if you dont want me to come along you could just say so"
Sarada blinked. It seems she may have come off the wrong way. She sighed. That was not her intention.
"Sorry, I didn't mean it that way" Sarada apologized. Before she could say anything else something impacted their car and sent them flying in an explosion.
Sarada sighed as she spotted the robot standing over the totaled car. Pilaf.
With a flip she landed on her legs and slipped her hand in her pocket. She was relieved to find she still had the one capsule within. The dragon balls were held within it. She had seen this coming and had asked Bulma to hand the dragon balls to her.
Bulma landed next to her and glared at the robot that was rumaging through the remains of their totaled car.
Kakarot looked on in confusion
"What are they looking for? "
Apparently the robot didn't find whatever it was it needed and looked towards them. A mechanic finger was aimed at them and a voice sounded through speakers.
"Hand over the dragon balls! "
Bulma said nothing as she casually raised a hand an generated a ki ball. She was annoyed. Who the hell would just pop out of nowhere and blow up a car? Someone could have died. The ball in her palm reached the required size and was aimed at the robot.
Whoever was within it was smart enough to dive out of the way. It was a near miss. The ki attack snipped the shoulder of the mecha and hit a massive mushroom, blowing it up completely.
"What was that?! "
Another ki ball was aimed at the thing and it got hit. Smoke emitted from it before it burst into flames. Someone screamed and the hatch in front flew open. Out came a short humanoid dog. Shu, if Sarada remembered correctly. He stumbled on the sand before making a break for it.
"I can't do this! Mai, come get me! "
The three just watched him disappear around a corner. Sarada sighed. That was underwhelming.
"Seriously? "Bulma reached into her pocket and pulled out another capdult. With a press of a button she threw it on the ground and watched another car appear. Without a word she hopped into the vehicle followed by Sarada and Kakarot.
"That was sad" Kakarot mused as he got comfortable in his seat. "He really tried to take our dragon balls"
"Which means there are others out there that know of the things" Bulma said as she checked the radar. The last ball was nearby. "I have a feeling we'll be running into that guy again"
"He might have some friends. Didn't you hear him can someone? " Kakarot said.
"Doesn't matter" Bulma started the car and stomped on the gas, jerking the car forward. Kakarot almost flew out of his seat.
"Bulma, don't do that! " he yelled as he quickly strapped himself in. He did not understand how his older sister could just sit there with her feet on the dashboard as if the car wasn't moving as if it was swept up in a tornado.
"Do you think that guy has the last dragon ball? " Bulma asked.
"Most likely"
"I'm guessing that since he found us he must also have a dragon radar "
Sarada nodded.
"What will we wish for once we get the last ball? "
Sarada shrugged. "We'll cross that bridge when we get there"
Bulma nodded with a hum as she kept her eyes on the road.
"Hey, um Sarada? "
Sarada hummed in acknowledgement.
"Do you not want me to come with you? "
Sarada went quiet for a moment. It was her fualt Bulma started think that she just didn't want her to tag along. She sighed.
"It's not that. Space is dangerous is all and I would rather you not get hurt"
"But I'm stronger now"
"Yeah you are and I'm pretty proud, but there are creatures out there that outclass me and if we ran into such a snag it'll spell danger on serious levels "
Bulma said nothing. Sarada had a point. There was a lot out there. Even if she was stronger she wasn't even close to Sarada's level and there are creatures stronger than her. She wouldn't be able to protect herself and end up holding Sarada.
"Fine"
Sarada glanced at her for a moment. She really wanted to come with. She was obviously upset with the fact that she couldn't.
Sarada sighed again. Damn.
She didn't like an upset Bulma.
"You can come along"
Bulma immediately brightened and had the biggest grin on her face that she put Kakarot to shame.
"Really? "
"Yeah, sure. If we ever run into some villain I can always protect you. I doubt we'll meet a monster on our trip"
Bulma had to punch the air in excitement. She was going to space. Sarada was allowing her to come.
"You're the best"
Sarada laughed at that. "Am I, now?"
"Don't start or I'll take it back"
"No you won't "
"Yes I will"
"She probably will" Kakarot added.
"No she won't" Sarada said confidently as she reclined in her seat.
"How are you so sure? " Kakarot asked.
Bulma raised an eyebrow, asking the same question.
"She loves me too much to ever take that compliment "
The statement made Kakarot burst into a fit of laughter and Bulma almost crashed the car in shock.
"Don't say that! " she yelled as she hit the laughing Sarada.

The Bronze Players of Recreation
The world of Creation has seen a recent explosion of what can only be called an adventurer’s culture over the past few decades. People who were once looked at as nothing more than lower class mercenaries rose to the ranks of heroes and legends as adventuring became recognized as an idealized lifestyle of overcoming hardship and finding triumph. With the establishment of a guild-based government system on the continent of Terramania, adventurers were soon legitimized and adventuring became a phenomenon universally accepted around the world. Redlette had retreated from this world to live on Earth for the remainder of her years, having been born and outcast by the gods of Creation. However, upon meeting a friend that she treasured dearly, she found herself longing for a return to her world—she wanted to experience it properly and go on adventures with someone whom she holds dear. Putting a plan into action, she meets with her friend, an awkward, nerdy boy by the username of Herring who she’d only known through years of playing online games with him, and invites him to go on this fantastic adventure with her. An adventure in another world had always been an impossible dream for Herring, but when he suddenly found himself with the opportunity to embark on one, he knew it wouldn’t be as simple as books and shows made it out to be. Redlette was notorious for rushing into things without thinking them through, and he was flighty and weak. In the games they played together, they rarely grasped victory. They were losers through and through, both in hobby and life. Despite this, though, he takes the leap and sets off with Redlette into the world of Creation. Together they only had one goal: to have fun and go on the adventure of their lives. This time, they’d establish a guild of their own and be free to take on whatever exploits their hearts desired. This is the story of the founding of their guild. Author’s Notes: -My writing style is largely based off of the absurd amount of light novels I’ve read and anime I’ve watched, so it may come off as cartoonish or exaggerative at times. If that isn’t your thing, I’d steer clear of this story.-Not an MMO story.-No numerical stats.-Relatively slow pacing.-Posts are between 2000-5000 words weekly after Chapter 1.
