《The Bad Guy Always Wins》Chapter 7: New Enemy

Me, Luna, and Solar walk to my room. I feel incredibly tired. As we arrive in my room, Luna turns back into her human form. Solar gasps. Oh no, he’s going to cause problems again.
“How can you trust this human enough to show your humanoid form!?” I sigh. I’m really too tired to deal with this. I flop onto my bed and Luna gets in. I grab her tail and the darkness was finally overtaking me. Well it was, until loudmouth started talking, again.
“What is going on here!? You said that you weren’t doing anything with my sister but I come all the way here and this happens?!” he yells. I start to get a headache. At the moment, I’m seriously considering killing him. On one hand, I get some peace and quiet. On the other hand, I lose a general. Maybe killing him will be worth it but I’m pretty sure Lluna won’t want me to kill her little brother.
“This is unacceptable!”
Oh my gods, is he still talking? I seriously want to kill him. I’ve literally never wanted to kill something so much in my small life. I sigh as I have to accept my fate. Losing a general would place me further away from my goal of conquering the Doomed Souls. I do my best to just tune him out. With Luna’s tail in my hand I start to doze off again despite of the constant blabbering of my new general, Solar.
NEXT DAY
“You got another one?!” my Mom screams. I sigh. Man, I’ve been sighing a lot lately.
“I swear if this wolf turns into another naked girl then we’re going to have problems young man!” she says. My dad again didn’t really say anything about it. I don’t think he hates another naked beautiful girl walking around. Although my mom had to have Luna’s clothes custom made because of the tail and ears, she rarely wears them. She still walks around the manor naked sometimes.

“Relax mom, this werewolf is a male. This is also Luna’s brother, Solar.” I say to defend myself. My mom looks happier but still sceptical while dad seems a little disappointed. I laugh at the reaction in my head of my parents. Although they can be a pain sometimes, they really care about me. I really love them.
“C’mon dad, it’s time for training.” I say, trying to escape from my mother’s constant questions and yelling. Dad gets serious as he nods. Whenever I mention training he get serious and losses all playfulness until training is over.
“Luna, Solar, you ready?”
“Yes Master.” Luna says while Solar just nods his head with a growl.
3 YEARS LATER
I’m now 8 years old and I’m starting to get paranoid. I’m now level 81 and it takes me 7 kills for just one level up. Luna and Solar are both level 65. It seems that there leveling is slowing down. Probably because their to high of level for any of the monsters in my woods. Unlike me, they rely on exp. RIght now I’m running through the woods with Luna and Solar and our pack right behind us. If somehow a monster escapes our carnage, the pack tracks them down and finishes them off. We arrive at a clearing in the woods. I stop knowing that some of the pack needs rest. I check my stats.

I’m getting stronger. Wait, in the middle, there’s something there. It has it’s back turned to us. As I continue to look at it, a shiver runs through my spine. What is that?! It’s pitch black and it’s skinny and malnourished looking. It has pointed ears like a goblin and its spine seems to be deformed and it’s hunched over. I can feel my Psychopath perk activating. This must be serious. That perk hasn’t activated since I fought with Luna and that was years ago. Nothing in the forest is supposed to even be close to my level but this one thing is activating my perk. The thing turns around, facing us. It doesn’t have eyes! I mean, there’s eyes sockets, but there is nothing in them! It also has claws and fangs like my wolves but I can see something purple coming off them. Poison maybe? It just stands there. Like it was watching us. Can it see?

I look around to see my pack shivering and backing up. Even Solar and Luna are having a hard time trying to stay next to me. THis thing is trouble, I can feel it. I use observe on it.

The Saga of Geir Røshjert
"His name will never be sung, son. Skalds and bards like me will never tell his stories to the mass. But only us and us alone will keep telling his story, his actions, his saga. For he is the man who started all of this." This is a story no man in Lumenter will ever hear, no man except for an Arnesen, for his stories are dull and generic to the ears of the masses, except for us, because he is the very reason why our people traveled this far east, why kingdoms in Erisgi fell and rose, why I... even existed in the first place. He is Geir, son of Arne, called 'the Stranger' by the people. But what he truly is, is a fiery red heart that beats inside every Eyklandian, Arnesen, and me.
