Mr. Yeon stayed sitting in front of the door where the supercomputers lay. The scientists and techs looked at him worried.

Mr. Yeon: Crono at least allow us to have access to monitor and control the player capsules and data.

Crono: ...Fine they are of earth so it is fair to leave them in your hands. There you have access to player accounts and video feed as long as you get permission from them.

The CEO just nods and gets up slowly and walked off defeated.

Baal PoV

Its been a week since Dok has begun tutoring us in more advanced studies. He tries to be relentless but for me and Lilian we absorb this material like sponges. After a bit more explanation from us our minions also start understanding. Ever so often I would see a screen saying my intelligence or wisdom increased for understanding the new studies.

With each need book it got easier and soon we both left the minions in his hands and only have him tell us what to learn and we do a test to see if we really learned it.

I can safely say my magic power raised by leagues after understanding the phenomenon behind the spells I cast. For some reason it also became much easier to understand how to make magic circles after understanding the phenomenon. Even so they were still quite large but the glyse on the outer part got more organized. I think it was because I saw Dok draw one.

Life here has been getting boring really. The training keeps me on my ties but I’m getting used to the intense beating I get from Rachet so it’s still boring. I’ve been wanting to fight someone worth fighting but sparing with Lilian is boring because it we stopped half way.

Since I’ve had more time during study sections I’ve also been reading up on who I should take care of a city and I quickly noticed a few problems we are facing. Though us in the castle can get food from our hunt in here the city populace had more trouble. The monsters were already really strong to the point only those who live and fight in the castle can survive. That said I began thinking of what is should do. My main thought was to have farms set up. Crops would feed the populations but it would take a while so I though of training hunters but it would end with them being guards then.

It’s annoying thinking of asking the foreigners for help since 80% of those here are cocky idiots. Those who aren’t are only craftsmen who ventured here not caring who lived here just because of the prospect of getting at demon leather which is a good material.

I didn’t know how to go about it and my companions who have been making their own small tribes came in. Kitsu by himself had stayed with me but Rook had conquered the demon rabbits and had dug under the castle and a demon rabbit warren. He still visited often and could easily move through the dungeon. He had ranked into a Higher Demon Beast: Lesser Demon Trihorn Drill Rabbit. He was about half the size of an elephant with ash colored fur with deep red lines on his back which most demons get when they have magic abilities. His original horn was as half my height in length. It had a grove spinning around it that went from the tip to the base and like the name says it was a spinning drill horn that was monstrously hard. While his two other horns which were just above to both sides of the main one. All the horns had a blackish red color but he was capable of using earth magic as well though the affinity didn’t alter his appearance.

Kitsu on the other hand was now a High Demon Beast: 5 Tailed Demon Fox and was as big as a full grown horse with 5 lush tails and he radiated power. He had chosen to stay with me instead of making some pack because demon fox are solitary animals it seems.

Kitsu: You seem in deep thought master.

Baal: Hmm well. I was wondering what will I do to improve the town.

Kitsu: In what way?

Baal: They are starting to lack food. They can't hunt any longer in the castle because the demons are getting too strong for them.

Kitsu: Hmm I see...Why not plant crops.

Baal: Wouldn’t that take long?

???: Nope

I looked at the voice and saw Dok.

Dok: Depending on the crop it will grow in less than a week some in a few weeks a most. Remember what I said about this world right.

Baal: Ah I see though the demons don't seem to know proper farming.

Dok: Catch.

Without looking I catch the book he through. “Methods for Farming”

Dok: I noticed the lack of farms that did proper farming so I learned the methods from my world and made a book with all the info I found.

He says that and walks out. I look at the book and open it and start reading. Kitsu come over and read with me. It details a few primitive tools that make use of bull to pull a plow to organize the fields. Rotation of cultures to maximize the soil and replenish its vitality by using plants that use one mineral while returning another to the soil. It talked about fertilization of the soil with dung as well as other different kinds of fertilizers.

I choose a basic method easy to implement to have a quick result and later on as the town grows I will introduce others. Just the field, a three crop rotation system and plow are enough for now since it will allow to make excess amounts of food if we do it right.

With Rachet’s help we went to town and we began recruiting a few who would accept doing the farming. We also got a few blacksmith to make the plows that will be used. While we waited for them to make it we taught them the farming method. They didn’t argue and actually looked at it in wonder.

It took 2 days for enough plays to be made and then we had them start making the fields. We didn’t have bulls so our alternative was the demon rabbits which were all single horn rabbits but all much stronger then a bull.

Rook: Good use for those weak minded fools.

Kitsu: Says another weak minded fool.

Rook: Grrrr

Baal: Stop playing around guys. We need to prepare the seeds.

I spread my wings and fly low over most of the stores and houses. The two were behind me jumping over the buildings but never crushing anyone or anything.

We reached the castle grounds soon enough where Rachet was training everyone. Lilian was reading in the corner and practicing with magic circles. Around her she had several papers with pictures of spells she normally uses such as Light spears, Ice lance, Light Impact, Guardian’s Blessing, ect. But I also notice new ones I haven’t seen. All of them were draw up by Dok after we showed him the circle without activating the spell. He spotted tons of faults in them and fixed them for us. It improved the power of our spells by twofold and it decreased the mana needed because a few spots on the circles were causing mana leaks.

Baal: Hey guys I’m going to go to Hasona. I need to get seeds for the farms.

Rachet: Is that so. Be careful. I’ll have the human manage the farm implementation and the preparations of the soil for when you return.

Lilian: Your leaving?

Baal: I need to go to the capital to buy enough seeds to have stock for a while incase the crops don't grow properly. Small villages won't have the stock we need. Can you stay here. We are both leaders of this town so at least one of us should remain.

She reluctantly nods.

Lilian: Then take this. Dok made me an book that better details the hardware of the machines in his world. It has helped a lot cause he details things well.

She handed me a large 500 page book. I take a quick look and it does look promising so I store it and thank her.

Baal: I should get ready to leave. Some spices, pans and such. I’ll be going with Kitsu and Rook Their the best bodyguards I can have against anyone lower leveled then me.

Rachet: Why not take Lona in case you meet high leveled foreigners?

Baal: I’m going to disguise myself and those to. It will make me look like a beast tamer than.

Rachet: I understand. You guys prepare the stuff of Baal. I need to give him the details of his training while he is away.

My elites nod and fly off inside and Rachet started to explain what he needed me to practice. He had a small manual that showed the postures. I was shocked to see he could draw so well. The manuel was just as detailed as Doks book.

When the elites returned I grabbed the bag they prepared with a sleeping bag some pans and lots of spices. I gave my regards and left mounted on a disguised Rook with Kitsu behind us. I simply made his horn turn to the natural horn rabbit color, which is a yellow color, while his fur was turned into a light brown. This was the look of a normal Drill Rabbit so I used that. For Kitsu he himself hid 4 of his tails and make the 5th smaller and was now looking like an oversized normal fox. With me in my human form I really did look like a strong beast master who has trained his pets to advanced levels.

When I did the count of levels removing the rank up which resets our levels I would be level 430 (4 rank ups + 40 level in this form) Rook would be 365 and Kitsu 380.

We would fall under high leveled human adventures or foreigners. Though considering my training I would be around 40-60 levels higher in stats I think. I haven’t been with Rook and Kitsu for a while so I can't judge their power but I can tell they aren’t pushovers. All three of us were far above our level thanks to the traits we gained. I gained the trait “Dungeon Boss” which doubles my power when inside the dungeon while permanently makes my health over 40000. The other two got MinI Dungeon Boss which has similar effects and gave them large amounts of vitality. I was sure they were stronger than the other two minI bosses that appeared in the 5th and 8th floor.

We leave the town with cheers from the towns people who saw us off. Riding Rook we sped on the dirt road at speeds far surpassing a horses and I could see that the time we would take to get to Hesona would be greatly reduced.

Lilian PoV

*sigh* Baal left without me. Though I’m sad he left just like that he went to get materials to make the town grow so I can't get hung over this. I gave Baal all my notes but I still had a copy of everything. Even after I gained followers Baal still feels stronger. When we spar I always stay on a slightly more defensive side so after Dok began teaching us about his worlds technology I started researching and improving my spells.

Today I was flying with my elites near the forest around town. We got wind of human bandits making a base in the forests and ambushing any traveller going to our city. I’m sure if they were stupid enough they would attack Baal if they could catch him on top of Rook, which I find impossible. That rabbit has a 200 meter jump distance and he covers it in 2 seconds. I find it impossible for someone with horses to keep up. I’m amazed Kitsu can keep up but thinking about it, a horse sized fox which is the animal that should normally hunt rabbits if it didn’t keep up it would shame his race.

Anyway I’m with my elites looking for the base. I had planned to test out a new formation. I talked with Dok about this and he drew up the magic circles for me. Its called Layered Magic. As the name says, I make multiple magic circles above the enemy which then fuse and activate a new spell.

We had trouble finding them because it seems they found refuge in a mine. Put simply they were cowards so to draw them out I had Flow fire an arrow with a flash arrow which would cause them to go on the alert and draw them out to look for the enemy.

Just like I suspected it drew out a good number of them.

The spell I was weaving was going to be my test run with layered magic circles. Its just a double circle spell but I needed time. Because we were in the air they didn’t notice and I had the four archers fly high and strike them keeping them scared.

After a minute I was ready. I had my hands clasped together so when I let them go I pointed then upwards and as I did so two large magic circles. The smaller one was light yellow and had an 8 meter of diameter. The one above was larger and a bright red color with 10 meters in diameter.

Each circle had been checked by Dok to have little mana leak and to use less mana though doing this spell still took 3000 mana my max was 9000 so I could do this spell three times.

I feed the spell my mana and a pillar of light linked both spells and slowly a bright orange ball began appearing on top of the red circle.

“The Sun and Stars that Judge the Sin, Fall and Purge” [Heavenly Shower]

The ball launched straight into the sky and slowly arched forward above where the bandits were searching. As it reached its peak it exploded and released hundreds of small light shards. When the bandits noticed the spell it was too late. The shards of light and fire rained down on them without mercy and killed all those who left the safety of the cave.

(This spell i modeled after Grand Chariot from Fairy Tail. Its similar in that hundreds of small shards of light fall down on your opponent but the casting is like Draco Meteor from Pokemon)

Lilian: Hehehe big success.

I made V sign to my elites who started laughing at my gesture. Because we took out most of the bandits their activities will decrease or stop all at once so we returned to the castle with great results.

Lilian: Ehehe with magic like this I have make up the distance between me and Baal by being a mage instead of close range fighter

I gleefully flew back with the news of my successful new discover.

Near the ground while Lilian was flying away she, or to be precise, no one noticed the figure cloaked in an old ragged black robe and cloak with his face covered. His hand holding a long old staff with a green emerald to channel his mana. His hands completely bare of flesh and was only clean white bone.

???: Ohhh what do we have here? An angel that knows the lost art of Magical Circle Formation. He power seem strange for a normal Angel it feels...different. Like I’m near a demon...a demon like Lucifer. Lets see where this child goes.

The shadowy figure disappears into the shadows following Lilian without her noticing.
