《NEET Re:Quest High School》Chapter 10: Self-Venturing In The Swimming Pool

On their way over, Sora and Airi did not speak at all, let alone share any words or sounds. The only exception was whenever Airi would nod or point towards the right direction and not before long they finally reached the third floor. Sora managed to pass by with his newly provisional granted access for the swimming lesson coming up ahead with his phone, scanning it in similarity to the second floor access one.
“You have been granted provisional access”, it read on the side monitor as Sora scanned it. Sora and Airi continued to walk for a couple of minutes more before they had arrived at two separate doors, only clearly indicating the female sign, ♀, and the other would then be the male sign, ♂. This is where the two of them split, hence it was the locker rooms. Airi went quietly in ahead while Sora gulped and prepared himself mentally for what was bound to come. First Sora had to change into his “swimming shorts”, like he called them as they reminded him of shorts but were made to be worn underwater. Second would be to eventually walk into the landscape of not a pool, not a regular Physical Education lesson, but one filled with nothing but girls and him being the sole male. On top of that also participating alongside them in the Physical Education lesson without being embarrassed of his poor physique.
Nonetheless Sora sought comfort in the fact that the girls would share a large portion or the equivalency of his embarrassment through being seen by a regular male such as himself. Inside the locker room, Sora managed to find the locker with his name tag on it and the swimming shorts that were promised in the phone tab which was read on the instructions. The shorts laid there waiting for Sora, one pair of black shorts, nothing of the ordinary which would make him stick out more than him being the sole male in there.
“Let us do this?” Sora gulped and attempted to encourage himself while approaching the door and slowly opened it.
When Sora opened the door, a vision came before his eyes, and a ray of light signaling the mid-day has reached its peak that successfully managed to shun his eye-sight alongside the newly profound view he would come to eventually find appreciation of. On Sora’s first step into one of the school many balconies, the swimming pool. Girls already began to distance themselves and a whole majority that were still on land attempted to hide the most appreciate part, Sora assumed on their upper body, their bosoms with their arms crossed or towels.

“So it is true he made through some hidden additional quest here?” A few girls in the distance whispered.
“I do not want him here,” One mentioned.
“Shush, he will hear you, none of do, he is a male, look at his lecherous eyes,” Another followed up the previous comment.
Sora sighed, condemned on first sight, although he could not disagree that his eyes did indeed attempt to betray him and scout as much data they possible could.
“One ought to think the feeling of discomfort would lessen since the first time I stepped into the school cafeteria, but I guess I was wrong, this is worse,” Sora cracked a smile and laugh at himself and his hopeless yet oddly satisfying situation.
As he walked by the poolside, it got way further than a generalization of the two genders should have been, he was solely isolated on the left side, while every girl gathered at the right site of the pool. Even the pool lanes were split that they would rather share three, sacrifice one and leave the far left out of the five for him to use alone. The sacrificial lane was so no one would be too “close or tainted by Sora”, or those were at least Sora’s thoughts on the matter. Repulsed a bit by the situation Sora attempted to move backwards and further himself from the swimming pool as he suddenly felt something collided with him from behind, in which collapsed both himself and the yet to be identified smooth and fragile figure. To Sora’s surprise when he turned around he found the fragile being was something he recognized immediately, Yui.
“I am sorry, we need to stop meeting like this, bumping into each other all the time,” Sora half laughed and tried politely to extend a helping hand with a friendly smile.
Reminiscing briefly about Yui’s previous behaviour got Sora thinking how long his hand would be willing to wait in mid-air, surrounded by the glares of the females to unify on the pre-emptive theory Airi had on him bullying Yui. It gave off an awkward and discomforting feeling of a short few seconds which made Sora fear for the worse before Yui decided to reach for in spite of her personality and being male-phobic. Sora was astonished by both the bravery and the improvement Yui had made, then came to a logical realization that her embarrassment of being looked at by the others amounted greater than the fear Yui harbored.

“Thank you,” Yui hushed quietly for only Sora’s ears to hear and nodded with gratitude.
“No problem, do not worry about Yui, it is my fault for bumping into you again,” Sora continued to slightly laugh away at the problem first hand.
“How do you know my name?” Yui stuttered, embarrassed to hear her own name out loud by a boy.
“Ah, I memorized the entire school catalog within my phone,” Sora grinned and pulled up his phone to point at, which he hid in the towel that he discovered in the locker inside in addition to his new swimming shorts.
“Wow, that is amazing,” Yui replied with awed and sparkling eyes.
“Not really,” Sora responded promptly.
“Can you stop bullying Yui?” Airi asked as she emerged from the side of the pool.
“Aaaa… Airi,” Yui stuttered. “He helped me regain my balance back up!” Yui bravely intervened by forcing herself to step in which was clearly expressed in her anxious face of the growing tensions.
“You would not be on the ground if he had watched his steps, correct?” Airi countered Yui.
Sora sighed as he looked at both of them, Yui in her blue suit, casual looking, nothing of the ordinary nor fancy, it just really fit her style. However Airi on the other hand made Sora gaze intensively for a second, she put more on a daring outfit that exposed more skin. Sora noticed how it more closely was a tight fit to put forth a better display of both her bosom and bottom.
“Whaa…at are you looking at? Airi now stuttered instead after she had first taken notice of Sora’s intense gaze.
Sora nodded and slammed his left fist into his right palm.
“I will give you a 10 out 10 attire wise, job well done I must say” Sora complimented and gave Airi a thumbs up with a smile.
“You think I am happy being complemented by the likes of you?” Airi blushed and began to slightly curl her the left side of her hair with her right hand as she turned away from Sora.
“So you can be cute when you want to, interesting,” Sora laughed and made Airi blush and turned further away leaving her back fully exposed. “And in the pool you go!” Sora yelled and shoved Airi in.
A brief shriek echoed in the balcony, and after a moment’s notice a resemblance of a loch ness monster surfaced with anger residing in her eyes.
“Sora do you have a moment?” Airi gently and slowly spoke with a crooked smile and a ticking eyebrow.
“I will have to pass on your offer and say no, as your voice and words do not match your actions or emotions,” Sora gritted his teeth.
Airi leaped up from the pool with a converted power from her anger, pulling her up from the poolside to begin the chase and hunt of Sora Nagai. Yui moved to the side and shivered to put forth an effort to encourage Sora.
“You can do it Sora!” Yui muttered with an arm held up to the sky to strengthen the encouragement.
“Thanks,” Sora smiled back in response and made Yui crouch and attempt to hide herself in embarrassment, in the meantime Airi was gaining distance on him.
Sora thought back that his endurance and physical abilities were low in the first, and the body is lighter in water, therefore he sought comfort in a solution of a new escape path.
“Got you!” Airi swung her arms and missed at the same time as Sora leaped into the pool, narrowingly escaping the inevitable and her grasp.
“Catch me if you… can… I will… never… give… up,” Sora tried to talk through all the water coming in his mouth as he sunk deeper into the bottom of the pool.
A thought came to mind, “Ah right, I never took the liberty to learn how to swim except in games” Sora ironically thought to himself as his consciousness began to fade.

Allister Hale's Story Graveyard.
You've tried to write a story yes? So have I, Many times. I get a good vibe going, type a few pages worth of content then reach the point it gets the tiniest bit hard. Thing is, some of those stories are good, the kind of good that gets people excited and then disapointed when they cut off abruptly and without warning before fifteen chapters. So content Warning, none of theese little stories come to any kind of conclusion. A couple are just different attempts at the same idea (some with the same characters no less)They are also raw and uneddited, and no i wont be fixing them.I don't think any of them deserve any additional content warnings, as I'm not interested in writting those sorts of stories, but please read with caution.
