A/N
I finally finished a detailed outline, so I'm not sitting there working on a whim when I write book two.
So now that book two's outline is finished, I can start writing book two. I plan on doing a chapter to week to start with, just like I did with book one.
There will be a break as of May 28th-June 11th as I'm going on vacation to visit family and friends on the East Coast.
So without further ado, here's Book Two : Earth Bound
Prologue
Kale laid back on the park bench staring up at the sky. He missed his realm, he missed being one with the air. As it was, he could float up into the air, and he'd done that often since he'd been dropped on Earth. He could live in the sky, as he could still give the clouds some form, but they migrated, and he needed to stay where he was. Hadn't even been twelve hours and he was already regretting everything.
He felt the air ripple and something stand beside him where a second ago there had been nothing. Alekzandor stood looking down at him with a grin. "How's it hanging?"
"A limb and to the left at the moment. How's the brat? She's what a month old by now?"
Alekzandor laughed. "Two weeks thank you very much. We wouldn't have made you wait that long."
Kale shrugged. "Only been about twelve hours here. My math as to how time differs in the Divine realm is off. Two weeks huh?"
Alekzandor grinned and sat down on the bench, which had been Kale's legs till he sat up. "Yup, and both mother and baby are doing great. She rolled over all by herself last week. I was really impressed."
"I didn't know Alyson couldn't roll over." Kale said looking shocked. "Wow, all of those years and she'd never mastered such a basic skill?"
Alekzandor punched Kale's shoulder. "I would like to get back to them as soon as possible, so let's get on with this shall we?"
Kale nodded. "Yeah, the sooner I get home the better."
Alekzandor materializes a packet and hands it to Kale. "Inside is everything you need to know, where you'll be staying the account that will have your funds for you live off of while you're here, and what your occupation will be.

"While you're main objective will be the occupation in the packet, Hektor also wants you to try and locate the other forces the demon said he saw during his time in this realm. From what we gather, there are mermaids, fairies, elves, vampires, witches, and werewolves. Creatures like that. There's more, but you get the gist of it. You're merely to locate them, not approach them unless you have no other choice. The witches we know will be easy as they can hide in plain sight, but do try to avoid causing a war with them will you. Hektor wants to hold off the introductions for someone more diplomatic."
"So not you then." Kale said opening the packet and looked over the list of the people. He froze, but Alekzandor had missed the changed in the air as he was still laughing. When Alekzandor finally sobered and looked back at him, Kale glared at his cousin. "No. I won't do it. If I find them, I'm liable to kill them. Again."
Alekzandor sighed. "I heard about what happened in the past. I'm sorry that you had to go through that, but yes they are on the list of clans we need to find. It's your choice if you don't want to complete the task, but if you don't, you'll never be able to return home. To your realm. Which I'm taking good care of, and Alyson's seeing to it that all of his creations are being looked after."
Kale smiled a bit at that. He had never things that he'd brought to life in his realm that was nothing by sky. He had worried about whether or not his children in a sense were being well taken care of. "She's a good woman."
"Why did you insult our family the way you did? Clearly you don't feel that way about them?" Alekzandor asked.
Kale looked off into the distance and sighed. "Hektor told you that I was here on a mission, not a punishment, but didn't tell you that he asked me to fake it. That's just like him. He wanted me to act like I hated all mortals, and mortals who turned into Divines so I could be banished and put here for an extended period of time to do a job. I don't think he knew about the demon, but he had sensed that something was wrong, or that one of us will be needed in this realm for awhile. I understand that our grandfather has a greater plan, and whatever changes I need for my future, I'll find them here."

They stared up at the sky for awhile, both lamenting on the fact that their grandfather did have secret plans, and they weren't aware of them until they were literally smack dab in the middle of it. Eventually Kale stood and waved at his cousin.
"Thanks man. I better be heading home."
As Kale walked away he thought about what Alekzandor said. He'd horribly insulted his family, hurt his mother, and his father lost all respect for him the moment he did. But it needed done. He was needed here, and all of it was in the packet. No, in truth he didn't hate mortals. At least not all of them. Just a clan of witches who called themselves the Noir. Many centuries ago, when he was still a child, he'd come to the mortal realm to play in the sky, and he became fascinated with a little girl he saw playing int he moon light. But because she came into contact with a Divine, the clan "purified" her. He hated the Noir after that, and anyone who supported them. Now he was going to have to face them again.
He had no doubt that the other creatures and people he was supposed to locate would welcome an alliance with the Divines and the chance to live out in the open, but the Noir, they would be a problem.
Thankfully, he didn't have to worry about all of that right now. There was a bigger objective. After being possessed by the demon, Rick went on a rampage and killed several people. Only the murders hadn't stopped with his death. Another had popped up, after Rick had been pulled through to the Divine realm, and this one, hadn't been killed by Rick. From what Hektor couldn't tell, only three had been killed by Rick, the rest had not. It wouldn't have been a matter for the Divines had they been able to immediately see who the killer was. But they couldn't. The killer was one of the creatures that cloaked themselves from Hektor, and Kale was supposed to start his mission with this one. Find out who he was, and why he was doing this.
What better way to do that than to be a part of the search for the killer?
Kale walked into the station looking like he knew what he was doing, when a cop stood to stop him from going any further, Kale held up his own badge. "Detective Kale Divins, I'm here to help with the Heartless case. The Chief is expecting me."
~~~***~~~~
Back in the Divine realm, Alekzandor sat in one of his chairs that over looked the beach while his grandfather sat in the other, playing with Alyss.
"What a cutie you are!" Hektor said he tickled the babies cheek. He looked at Alekzandor. "She's going to favor her mother, but she'll have you're coloring."
Alekzandor smiled. "I know."
"By the way, I'm glad you got rid of the blue." Hektor said looking back Alyss. "You're black hair suits you better."
"Alyson agree's with you, she also seems to think that it will be better if Alyss grows up seeing she has her fathers hair than wonder where the blue came from." Alekzandor said with a grin. "We decided once all of the children are born and old enough we'll start changing our hair to different colors again."
"So not for a couple of centuries huh?" Hektor chuckled.
Alekzandor nodded. "Pretty much yeah."
"Ask what's on your mind my boy."
Alekzandor shook his head at his ever knowing grandfather. "Why didn't you look for these creatures before?"
Hektor sighed. "I didn't know they were here. I only suspected. I thought they had fled to other realms when I closed the borders. They also have the ability to cloak themselves from me. I think it's because they aren't human and they didn't pledge their souls to my order like the humans did. Had I known they were forcing themselves to live beneath their means, I would have stopped them. I would found a way to make sure they could be with my people and all would be well. I fear they fled thinking I would kill them, but I have no such desire. In any case, if this works out, and they start living in the open, and the world knows them for what they are, then humanities days are numbered. For once the mix breeding begins, we'll have a whole new manner of people on our hands."
Alekzandor shook his head. "Ever the ulterior motives."
Myth of The World's Trees
And Simon answered their call with a single statement that nobody understood "Et super mos absit hoc hodie!" "Yah!" "WWWaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!" "AAAlllllaaaaallllaaaaallllaaaa!" "EeEEellllleeeeeelllllleeeeeeuuuuuuu!" I, too, yelled a battle cry at the top of my lungs. I had no idea what Simon had just spouted but from Camilla's giggling, I could guess that Simon thought that spouting nonsense was his way of getting out of the earlier predicament. "I forbid death upon this day," Camilla said. "What?" I answered a bit at a loss. "Ancient Latin," she replied smugly, "He said 'I forbid death upon this day'." I laughed aloud "Then he is gonna be really disappointed in everyone here," Camilla did not reply and instead took a deep breath. I did the same, zoning out everything in my surroundings. The environment became a world of electrical pulses traveling across several networks. I perceived the world through my lightning and sped my heartbeat to inhuman levels. I was present now, at this moment, at this point in time. I could feel the electrifying air saturating my lungs, the electrified ground vibrating at the rhythm of the approaching enemy. Then I took a step forward, everyone followed in tandem. Camilla the first, and then the others. Then I took a second step, and this time everyone followed simultaneously. Third step… Fourth step… Fifth step… Then light jogging… Speeding up… Running … Running faster…. Then suddenly, everyone disappeared into motes of light particles that re-constructed itself hundreds of feet above the horde, dozens of miles away from our initial position. We were literally 'diving' into battle.-------------------------------------------------------------------Despite a rough childhood in the slums, Omari had everything a guy could want - a loving girlfriend, an understanding sister, a wonderful teacher, and his dream job. Letters from a Dying World
Times historic are often penned after the fact in the lifeblood of the pitiful, forgotten masses. That roiling, uncountable crush of humanity, they who held the pikes and they who threw down the tyrants. Their veins opened by gazes academic, sharp and cruel, and pecked away at with quills, written out of their own story. The Second Dark Crusade was a time of such poignancy. A time when the light of man waned and flickered, choking in the acrid smoke of its own inadequacy. As befitting of such an age it has been covered more than a capital whore, and so I attempt not to tell that story again. That story of dull, unfeeling analysis. Neither here will you find the browbeating, propagandistic screeds so common in the hands of men, the light of youth still burning behind their eyes. Nay, here I shall attempt to cover fresh ground, not tread on the grave dirt of long dead authors. Here I shall attempt to tell the story of the small lives caught, unbeknownst to them, in the great and torrential downpour that we now call history. Here lies the true story of The Second Crusade. - Loremaster Ip'Qal
