On a lounge inside the top most floor of a luxurious hotel, a group of four individuals could be seen sitting around a small round table. After a minute of all of them sitting in silence, a tall blond man could be seen entering the lounge while carrying 5 cups of tea in tray. Setting them down, the blond man pulled a chair and brought it next to a young woman with emerald green hair and eyes and sat himself down. After sitting down, the man picked up his cup before turning to short woman with blue hair styled in two long braids as he said:

“Don’t you have any other clothes to wear? Or should I just be happy you’re not wearing your hat inside here?”

“Oh? And why should I worry about what I’m wearing in my free time? After all, the one going out on a date tonight is you and Diana, not me~”

“You’re right, but it wouldn’t be too bad of an idea to wear another set of clothes. After all, despite all these years of us working together, I’m sure we all can count the amount of times we’ve seen you wear a different attire than your mage set in one hand.”

At this statement from Allen, Charlotte simply shrugged her shoulders and said:

“What you see me wearing is none of my concern Allen. You already know that I don’t like to waste my time on stupid things, and the last thing I want to do is waste my time on is choosing what to wear everyday like Diana over there.”

“Hey! I don’t take that long! It’s just you’re the weird one having five copies of the same outfit!”

“I don’t have five copies of the same outfit, I have at least thirty. It’s just that I only carry five with me at the time. Plus, I do have another outfit for when I need to dress formal.”

Deciding not to waste her time on a losing battle, Diana turned over to Edwards and asked him:

“Hey Edwards, why don’t you get your girlfriend another outfit to wear? Don’t you get tired of seeing her in the same outfit?”

At this Allen decided to jump on as well and said:

“Yeah, if you don’t at least try a little for Edwards, he may end up leaving you you know?”

Hearing Allen’s answer, Charlotte simply narrowed her eyes as she put on a sly smile on her face and said:

“Ohhh? That’s an interesting bit of advice coming from someone who’s cheated on their fiancée. Despite the princess trying her best for you, you still ended up sleeping with some other woman. Meanwhile, I haven’t had such problems with my boyfriend. He doesn’t mind what I wear.”

Then turning to look at Edwards, Charlotte put on a smile as she asked in a sweet tone:

“You don’t mind what I wear, right?”

At Charlotte’s question, Edward gave a wry smile as he answered:

“Right.”

Seeing the atmosphere grow slightly tense at Charlotte’s provocative statement, Edwards decided to continue as he said:

“Anyway, let’s talk about what we’ll be doing today. I know you two will be going on a date, but what about you Charlotte? Since we don’t have to begin investigating until tomorrow, do you want to go out somewhere tonight?”

At Edwards question, Charlotte put on an expression as if she was seriously contemplating it before shaking her head and refusing his offer, saying:

“Hmmmm, not today. I want to go and meet with the head librarian and discuss about a few things we left unfinished the previous time I was here.”

“I don’t mind accompanying you there, if that’s okay with you?”

“No it’s fine, I’d feel bad just leaving you there by yourself…”

Then turning to look at Zilva with a mischievous expression, she added:

“Why don’t you go somewhere with Zilva? I doubt she has anyone to accompany her~”

At her provocative suggestion, Zilva simply glared at her before saying:

“Sorry, but I already have plans to meet with an acquaintance tonight. I’ll have to decline your company Edwards.”

Not letting up was Charlotte as she continued to tease her saying:

“Ohhhhh? You’re meeting an acquaintance at night? It can get pretty dangerous for a girl to go by herself, so you should have Edwards accompany you. Unless… is your acquaintance a man? Did you finally get yourself a boyfriend! Ehehehehe~”

Deciding to step in and calm things before Zilva lost her cool was Edwards as he said:

“Come on don’t tease her too much, sorry about that Zilva.”

“Haaa, It’s fine Edwards, it’s not your fault, it’s the fault of that little magician over there”

At her statement about her height, Charlotte's eye twitched slightly but she still decided to let the matter drop as she simply continued to drink her cup of tea.

“So… you’ll be staying here all alone, Edwards?”

Asked Allen to the black haired man while giving a sideway’s glance at Charlotte.

Edwards however, knowing that this was done in an attempt to provoke Charlotte, simply smiled and gave a calm answer saying:

“Yes, though I don’t mind. It’s not a bad thing to just simply relax for a night, especially with all that’s been going on”

Following this, the group began talking about pleasantries as they relaxed a little before they would begin to head out on their own. Since they didn’t have to start their reconnaissance mission until tomorrow, they wanted to relax for the day and not worry about the rather troublesome matters that had been occurring lately.

After about 30 minutes, Allan stood up from his seat and helped Diana to do the same. With this as the signal, the group began to get up from their seats as they bid farewell to each other for the day, before they each went off on their own paths…
