《Dimensional Paradise》Chapter 149 – E-39 (1)

After they packed most that they would need in Aleen’s space ring, Aleen and Aya were brought by Leona to a peculiar place.
The first thing Aleen and Aya saw when they exited the portal was an enormous ring. It was a giant metallic ring of immeasurable size. Aleen could even see mountains and seas inside the ring, as though it was an entirely new world.
What came to Aleen's mind when he saw the ring was the famous videogame about a spartan. It made him wonder if this place also had the Flood.
“Welcome to Artificial Satellite E-39, one of the greatest engineering accomplishments ever created by the United Dimensions.” Leona said with a voice full of pride.
“… What is this place?” Aleen asked after taking a while to recover his senses.
“E-39 is one of the most guarded secrets of Dimensional Paradise. The coordinates of this dimension are unknown, even for me. Only a few level-six know about it.
“It was created to protect a very special space-time singularity. Only a few people know of this place, so the fact that you were allowed here is very impressive.”
“Why were we brought here?”
“I told you before, don’t I? It’s compensation due to what happened in the last game. Actually, what happened is far from enough to bring you here, but as Miss Claire is the owner of the Eternal Flame, we want to avoid a situation where she felt that she was treated unfairly. Now that we were unable to punish the level-six responsible for her situation, we believe that bringing you to this place is more than enough as compensate. Now, come with me.” Leona gestured to Aleen and Aya to follow and started to walk.
Aleen and Aya followed after her. In the way, the saw many other people. Most of them were dressed like Leona, or wearing sci-fi-like suits; but a few of them were like Aleen and Aya, using out-of-the-place clothes.
After walking for another ten minutes, they reached to a metallic door. Leona then touched it and a strange keyboard-like panel appeared. After pressing a few things on it, the metallic door opened.

Inside, there was a small room. The room was very simple, with just two beds, a small bathroom, and a small cabinet to guard their things.
“This will be your room.” Leona said while pointing to the small bedroom. “You will stay here for one day before being taken to the singularity.”
“Miss Leona, we still don’t know what we are doing here.” Aleen looked at Leona and asked with a doubtful expression.
Leona nodded. “Let me explain. In the middle of E-39 lies the entrance to a very special singularity. This singularity is a naturally created sub-dimension that failed to form correctly. Due to this, the laws inside it are disordered and chaotic. Besides, some of the living beings living on it possess fragments of laws inside their bodies. You just need to kill one of them to catch a glimpse of the laws.
“Once you are there, you will notice that the mana inside is very abundant. Furthermore, due to the chaotic laws, it’s many times easier to break through there than in the outside world. For someone like Mr. Aleen, who is just one step away from breaking through the next level, this place is ideal.
“There are many other incredible things inside that sub-dimension, some of them comparable to Eternal Flames. But it will depend on your capability how much you get from there.
“You two will be sent inside with another group of level-two. You were allowed only one month of time inside, so you better take advantage of it.”
Aleen’s eyes shined when he heard Leona’s explanation.
From the moment when he failed to get his second skill, he had been longing for it. He could not forget the feeling of power he felt when he wielded that sword of lightning.
Simply the fact that this place could help him to break through the next level was more than enough to make him excited.
Leona saw the excitement in their eyes and smiled. “Incredible right? For your knowledge, you normally need to make a great contribution to the United Dimensional Planes or get a score above your level in Dimensional Paradise to get sent here, so you better appreciate this opportunity.”

“A score above our level?” Aleen asked.
“For level-two, their score goes from 1 to 10. So, if your general score surpasses ten, you can ask to be sent to this place.” Leona looked at Aleen and explained. “If you are level-three, your score needs to surpass one hundred to get this same opportunity.”
Aleen and Aya nodded in understating and asked a few more questions, and Leona answered patiently.
Then, when Leona answered everything they want to know, she waved her hand. Instantly, two things appeared on it.
The first one was a sword. The sword was very similar to Dark Night, the former sword of Aleen, but it seemed sharper and stronger. Aleen’s eyes were glued to the sword from the moment it appeared.
The second thing was a small bottle. Aleen recognized it like the body-enhancement drug.
“This is…” Aleen asked.
“Take them.” Leona said, passing the sword to Aleen and the bottle to Aya. “You lost your sword in the last game, right? This one is a bit better than that. As for miss Aya, this is a bottle of body-enhancement drug. Mr. Aleen knows how to use it.”
Aleen and Aya put on surprised expressions, unable to comprehend why miss Leona was giving it to them. Leona saw through that and smiled. “Consider these as a part of the compensation. Actually, you two will need them if you want to have a better chance inside the singularity.”
Aleen and Aya looked at each other before finally nodding. Leona made a satisfied expression seeing it. “Very well, I’m leaving then. See you tomorrow.”
Once she said it, she left.
…
A few minutes later, a man appeared before Leona.
“Leona!” He greeted her with an enthusiastic smile. “Did you bring the two youngsters?”
“I did.” She replied. “They are resting in their room.”
“Oh. I heard about them. I can’t believe they got this opportunity just like that. Was it truly necessary to do so much just because they are related to the Eternal Flame?”
“That is not the only reason.” Leona shook her head. “The boy… He showed the potential to create a pseudo-divine skill.”
“!!!” The man opened his eyes wide with an aghast expression.
“It’s true.” Leona continued seeing the expression of the man “It’s the reason because Dimensional Paradise agreed to bring him here. If he can awaken a pseudo-divine skill, then we will have another irregular with us. Actually, even now he can be considered as a pseudo-irregular.”
“I understand now.” The man shook his head. “You are right, if he can become into an irregular, then bringing him here is not a problem. However, do you think he is strong enough to survive inside the singularity? Even if he has the potential to become an irregularity, he is not one yet. If he dies inside, then it will be a shame.”
“It doesn’t matter. The road towards becoming a powerhouse is filled with thorns and difficulties. If he dies inside, then it means that he was never fated to become someone great. Besides, it’s not as he is the only irregularity.”
“You are right. After all, even in this batch of people, we got five irregularities. And one of them… He is truly a monster.”
“So strong?” Leona asked in surprise.
“Very strong. Moreover, he is a member of the Titan race, so his future is truly bright.”
“Is it so? It looks like this time it will be truly exciting inside the singularity.”

The Head That Wears The Crown
It's a tale as old as time. Boy goes to funeral. Boy gets sucked into a different world. Boy has to lead a settlement. Boy has to lead a settlement? Boy has to lead a settlement. This is a story about that settlement, and some other stuff. Maybe. Disclaimer: Not sure if it qualifies enough for a gore tag. There is a description of someone's death somewhere in this, but I don't think it is descriptive enough to justify a gore tag. Disclaimer part deux: I initially started writing this as background for another story but got so into it I just ended fleshing it out a bit. Disclaimer part tres: People love reading disclaimers don't they? It's why I've included so many. They're just for you. Disclaimer part four: I know, this is getting egregious. You're starting to find it less funny. Just wait till the twentieth disclaimer, it will start being funny again. Disclaimer part five: I'm kidding, this is the last one. I don't promise I'll read every comment or message, but I certainly welcome your feedback. Disclaimer part six: I lied, it wasn't the last one. I wrote this story without breaking it down into chapters. It just goes, that means that the chapter ends when it ends, not when there is a convenient break in the story. That means that it's very annoying for you as a reader since chapters can end mid sentence. Hah! Sucker! Disclaimer part seven: Get ready for slow updates. Who knows when this will continue. Toss it on read later and come back in fifty years. Disclaimer part eight: Cover Photo by Arthur Ogleznev on Unsplash
