Book 1 did awesome. Not awesome awesome, but it went even better than I hoped. It gave me great hope for the future and a somewhat reliable profit, allowing me to safely transition into full-time writing. I've signed two more series with the same publisher too -- the Crab Fighter, which some of you might have read, and Good Guy Necromancer, my ongoing series. All in all, things are going amazing, and I owe this to all of you. Without you, I would have never stuck with writing...so, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

An arrow pierced the air, beelining towards the young man. A malicious gleam revealed itself in his eyes; he unsheathed his sword, a long, curved blade, and deflected the projectile, spiking it into the ground. The archer's eyes widened before being split in two. He died suddenly and indignantly. The group backed away; their former confidence diminished greatly by the invisible counter. It was then that the young man sighed, his voice full of lament and self-pity. "Being a saint truly is difficult, even the world cannot understand my righteous actions." Sorry for the random tiny chapters. I structured and uploaded this as a series of scenes, some of which just didn't need to be very long. I could probably attach the "sub-scenes" to previous chapters, but that'd only be covering it up, so I'm not sure its worth it. Anyway if you find them annoying, let me know, and I'll put some more thought into it. I did, at least, make a point of always posting at least a thousand words on any given day (after I noticed the problem), which hopefully mitigates the problem.
