Greetings everyone who's still kind enough to follow this story.

I realise it's been a quite a few months of radio silence so I'm dropping an update so you all know how things are going.

In between studying/group projects I've still been writing (thankfully) and I'm discovering my weaknesses as a writer such as not putting enough consistent detail into the setting, character develpment and other things. As such, I've been taking the opportunities when I go out to look carefully around me and try and put into words the atmosphere and emotions that places give me and also trying to get into the heads of my characters.

As for the characters themselves, there are a few that I originally intented to be supporting characters that have grown on me and, further down the line, I've relooked at and decided to flesh out a bit more as I'd grown attached to them while writing them and want them to be more than a few character traits, something I might not have been able to do if the chapters had been posted already. As for Kira, I'm trying to let her true personality shine through the shell of this hard worker with a specific goal, and figuring out how she behaves around different people in different scenarios has been, and still is, an interesting experience.

For those interested in the numbers, I've got about 12-13 chapters completed but of which, at least 7 need editing due to character adjustments and at least 3-4 chapters that are still fairly raw. I know I said that I didn't want to start posting until the arc is finished, but seeing as, plot-wise, I'm only about a third of the way in with what I want to cover, I might be able to post a chapter (tentatively) every month, just to to give me enough time if I end up making any major adjustments. It's up to you guys, however. If you're happy with waiting till I finish the entire story arc, that's also cool.
