《The Tragic Tale of a Zombie Survivalist》Ending...Beginning...Continuation

Chaos spread throughout the battlefield, but there was no doubt who belonged to which side. Like when dealing with the Undead, the people of Andrew’s Clan cut the heads off of the Avatars. Since every single Avatar had a Skill, people were getting stronger left and right.
Skeletons were changing and Zombies were evolving. The BOSSes stayed out of the fight but sent in their personal forces instead of their army.
Because Ron did not know of the whereabouts of the Undead Clan members, he had no idea they were moving to intercept him. What he should have done was wait for a bit, try and tag team with some of Andrew’s enemies, maybe get some information.
Instead, he recklessly charged forward, overconfident in himself.
Unfortunately, he did manage to run away, but most of his army was destroyed, almost 450 people were found from the enemy side. Ron had to give detailed orders and he wasn’t even in his right mind. Because of this, the Avatars were not being put to good use.
Ron went into hiding and was almost never heard from again. Andrew and the Undead Clan went on and fought the allied forces of Ron and the old military, winning but losing several people in the process.
This was over the course of several years, and by that point, Andrew and Rebecca’s daughter Leah was born. They had a son named Bartholomew, or Barry. Sarah became a Healer and Lucy became a Hunter. Spot and Jane had twins, both a son and a daughter, while John and Clara got together. Unfortunately, Clara suffered complications and could not have children.
Instead, they helped take care of Sam who ended up taking control of the entire Castle.
Many decades passed, and Andrew had taken control of everything above the Panama Canal, as long as it was connected by land.

Leah and Barry were born as Demons and Undead, so they could live for a while, however, Lucy was getting old. The others had long since passed, with many of them wishing to become Undead and stand beside Andrew on his quest to take over unite the world.
But…when Lucy passed, she wanted to rest with her parents. Andrew held a magnificent burial for her and vowed to never raise her from the dead. But, he couldn’t bear to burn her, so he built a beautiful garden and had a crystalline coffin built for her.
It reminded the old people of Snow White, as Lucy looked as if she were merely sleeping.
Throughout the next week, a massive celebration went on and on.
After that, Andrew and his crew set out to dominate South America. Sarah passed as well, but she decided to come back to her mother and stepfather.
Several more decades passed and the entirety of the Americas belonged to the Undead Clan. They set up communication to the eastern hemisphere, finally, and produced trade. Over time, the Humans grew old and died, their offspring changing their viewpoints.
Gradually, the Eastern Lands that belonged to the Humans stopped trading with the Western Lands that belonged to all manner of Monsters, Beasts, and Undead.
The islands were usually populated by creatures and Monsters as well, but large islands like Australia became the Waste, a lawless place filled with criminals and all sorts of ruffians.
The Eastern Lands forgot about the Western Lands and set out to discover more land, as after several hundreds of years, Humanity was back on track.
The System had created separate Guilds for both sides and split them into different Factions. When the newbies set foot on the Western Lands, they saw the Monsters, Beasts, and Demons for the first time. War had come back to the peaceful Western Lands, as they tried to convince the Eastern Lands to stand down.

A large source of Tragedy was on its way.

Ah yes, we have finally reached the end of the first ‘BOOK’, if you want to call it that. If it felt rushed, it was meant to be. When I come back to the point of Ron and the military joining up, I will try my best to let you guys understand.
However, we have the alternate future. I debated for a long time about this and decided on a sufficient enough plot device that I liked that would leave room for a second path. Why?
Try on this Preview of what the next BOOK has to offer.
=======================================
A cloaked figure stood atop a mountain overlooking a valley that had a massive spider walking around. On its back was a masterpiece of a Castle, like a beacon in the night.
‘Come in, Spacer, are in you in position?’
“Affirmative, HQ. Proceeding with the Quest.”
‘Good luck.’
In the next moment, the figure disappeared, reappearing in a beautiful garden filled with colorful flowers. When he entered, a large oppressive force immediately targeted him, covering him in perspiration. He rushed over to the glass like box and touched it before disappearing away again. The glass coffin was taken as well.
A large hideous wail could be heard all the way from the Castle, and that night was what sparked the Great World War.

Several people in large white coats stood around the body of what appeared to be a corpse of an elderly lady. She was preserved using magic so her body was as it was when she died.
One of the white-coated figures spoke to another.
“Is the process going smoothly?”
“Indeed. She should not remember her past.”
“Good. And how old are we going to make her? An adult?”
“No, we need to have the current Heroes led by someone their own age. We shall make her sixteen.”
“Ah, then that’s too bad. We can’t have her getting into any relationships. Who knows what might trigger her memory?”
“Nothing should, I told you already. The Moderators gave us this Quest and we will complete it. Those Monsters shall finally learn their place under the Gods.”
“Yes. They shouldn’t have thought to stand against us, isn’t that right?”
“You’re rambling again, focus. If you slip, the magic may weaken.”
“I know. Here, she’s waking up.”
The pretty dirty blonde haired girl slowly opened her eyes, as if she was waking from a dream.
“Where…where am I?”
The two figures looked at each other and nodded as if it was a cue for their part to act.
“Damn, it seems she lost her memory. You are here, in our lab. We worked hard to bring you back. How are you feeling, Aralia?”
“Aralia? Is that my name?”
“Indeed. You are our Hero.”
“That…that doesn’t sound like me.”
“Trust us, you are amazing. You have what it takes to defeat the Lich King!”

Synergy
Dear Inspector, Please accept this letter as my formal resignation from being a Player. Hey! Laugh all you want, but I had to try. With no rules down here, who's to say that I can't resign? Anyway, my reasons are simple: I'm neither a gamer nor a hero. You got the wrong person for the job. Sure, the pay is decent and I could pretty much live like a king if, you know, I wasn't so busy trying to survive. I have major concerns about the demonic dagger bound to my soul too. Come to think of it, I've never asked to be transported to this fantasy land either and would like you to return me home, thank you very much. I don't want supernatural powers, I don't want to complete quests after quests, and I don't want to be your test subject anymore. What? I'm not whining, you're whining. Stop making excuses and let me leave already. Thank you for your understanding, and I hope you'll find a better replacement after I'm gone for good. Sincerely,Randel, the Mad Painter What to expect from Synergy: --> Some GameLit elements are presented subversively. If you want the protagonist to “play the game” properly, this might not be the story for you.--> No filler chapters; the story's structure is already plotted out. It's going to have six story arcs.--> Character development happens slowly, over many chapters. Don't expect a perfect protagonist right off the bat.--> Some romance, but it will never be the main focus.--> Humor and dark elements in equal measure, but not to the extent that I’d label this story as “Comedy” or “Grimdark”. ... and lots and lots of Author's Notes. See you on the other side of the portal!

Shades of the Moon
I'm rewriting this story! I have taken down Arc 2 and Arc 3 already to avoid spoiling my new novel. The only reason I'm keeping the first 10 chapters is nostalgia; the writing is awkward and the story is not plotted out properly, but it's here if anyone wants to compare it to the new one. If you'd like to read a more professionally written version of this story, I highly suggest checking out my Synergy. Synopsis version too-many-to-count: “I see,” Kiona said. “But . . . you’re changing once again, aren’t you?” The entity considered her question, lifting a clawed hand towards the night sky. They observed the back of their hand idly, watching the glowing orange veins pulse alongside their pitch-black exoskeleton. The wind picked up right then, and Kiona shivered—just as much from the cold as from the savage grin on the creature's face. “That’s right,” the entity said, clenching their hand slowly into a fist. They let out a quiet laugh, staring defiantly at the Moon as it rose from behind the clouds. “We are shades, yet not exactly. Not like the others. Here, in this world, we've become something more. We are the Shades of the Moon.” There was a heartbeat of silence, during which Kiona joined the entity in their skygazing. The light-green Moon loomed over the city, shining like the entity's eyes. It promised otherworldly knowledge and terrible secrets. It promised progress. It promised change. In that moment, Kiona couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful. “Shades of the Moon, huh?” she said, smiling a bit. It had a nice ring to it.

And will those very same answers she's found be enough to not only break her free from the loop, but to also protect the people she holds dear? (A-and from what, exactly ...?)
