The next day, Cheng Yu left the lecture theatre as the lesson ended. He started walking towards the school’s cafeteria and messaged Zhao Rong to meet him there so that they could investigate the rumors.

“Look it’s Cheng Yu!”

“Cheng Yu! Can you sign this for me!”

“Cheng Yu can you take a picture with me?”

While walking towards the cafeteria, countless fans recognized him and swarmed around him as they demanded for Cheng Yu's autograph and picture. Cheng Yu obliged with the requests from numerous girls, as he had about an hour before Zhao Rong was released from class.

When Zhao Rong arrived at their designated meeting location, he saw a long line of girls queuing up to take a photograph together with Cheng Yu.

“Haha, as popular as ever you f*cking nut.”

“You’re finally here. I waited so long that it became an autograph signing session.”

“Don’t f*cking message me and expect me to arrive in one minute you dumbass. Hahaha! Forget it though. Since we’re both here now, let’s go.”

Cheng Yu and Zhao Rong headed for the classroom in the rumors, leaving an entire line of disappointed fans behind.

In the gloomy classroom, Li Rou held a bottle in her hand and the three talent imbuing tablets in her other hand. She then swallowed all three tablets in a single gulp.

She then prepared to test how effective the tablets were by singing once again.

As she sang, a soft and melodious voice rang out. Li Rou was stunned in disbelief. “Is this really my voice?”

As the duo burst through the classroom door to see who the singer was, Cheng Yu was immediately taken aback.

Cheng Yu was flabbergasted that the person who was singing beautifully was also the mysterious long-haired student that he had purposely toyed with.

“Please leave.” Li Rou coldly chased them out.

“Hey Cheng Yu it seems we aren’t welcome here, did you do something?” Although Zhao Rong could not see Li Rou’s face, he noticed that Li Rou’s body was facing towards Cheng Yu.

“Let’s go. I need to time to think.”

“Sure, you better tell me what you did instead of keeping silent this time.”

Cheng Yu was internally conflicted. Cheng Yu previously had intended to listen to the singer's voice but she had turned out to be the mysterious long-haired girl he had intentionally caused trouble for. As a result, LI Rou had chased him out forcefully.

Cheng Yu was not one to think about the consequences of his actions as he had been gifted with everything. But after finding out that Li Rou had such a soothing voice, he felt guilt-ridden.

Zhao Rong noticed Cheng Yu's dilemma and agreed to leave with him for now. Zhao Rong intended to probe Cheng Yu for answers later.

As the troublemaking duo left the room. Li Rou sighed a breath of relief and tried to calm her erratically beating heart. She was originally caught off guard by the two of them when they barged into the room.

But the moment she saw Cheng Yu, she was immediately annoyed by Cheng Yu’s mere presence. He was the one that caused her the most amount of pain back when she was a failure.
