While he slept, Mark dreamt. He was in the lab, and there was a voice calling out to him, “Help me!” It repeated over and over as he ran from room to room. Every door screamed as he opened it, and all the lab techs were always standing in his way. They were blocking him from getting to the one that needed help. He could hear the voice calling out to him, it was angry now, demanding his help, but the lab technicians in their blood-red clean-room suits just stood there, not letting him pass. He pushed through them and opened another door that cried out. More of the techs stood in his way.

When Mark woke he was sweating badly. This whole thing was clearly getting to him, and it was no wonder. He had seen some unbelievable things last night. How much of it was brought on by his own paranoia? Should he just calm down and stop worrying so much? It was, after all, just a lab, right? But then there was still the floor marked “E”, and the basement. What if the answers he was looking for were there? Could he just let it all go without finding out what was happening?
