She fell to her knees silently and hid her face in her hands, almost as if to hide from me.
A soft sob eminated from her diminished body.
Uh, um, what did i do?...
My eye slithered its way throught the air and over to her in a nonchelant, yet soft way. I think. It might have looked like a snake readying itself to pounce on its prey, but i hope not.
Through her fingers, i caught a peek at her moist eyes. In surprise, her eyes turned to my eyes with a hint of fear. Her pupils had shrunk, and what i had previously assumed to be love eminating from her gaze as she studied me had turned to fear.
I even felt a bit of shame at this sudden turn, despite not knowing what i was supposed to be ashamed of.
I must have moved my eye a bit too quickly, as she suddently jumped to her feet and threw herself over to the tent, where i now realized a sword was leaning casually against the entrance.
She grabbed the sword with a smooth motion and held its shivering tip towards me.
Hey... Hey hey hey. What did i do!?
She made angry sounds that not even my wierd translating ability could interpret and tried to attack.
However, before the edge slashed my stem in two, it stopped. Not even if we had been engaged in battle would i have been able to beat her...
”W-, Who is you then?!”
She shouted at me, forcing me to flinch.
Um, who, who am I? Well... Thats kinda hard to say, i mean... I dont have any vocal cords or,
ha-, but a wait a minute!
Without even finnishing the thought the roots had already escaped the ground. Two were formed into a large B and one was a big cirkle.

”B-, Bob?...”
My head nodded frantically.
Yes! Bob is me! I am Bob! Hello!
”Åh, öh, I-, called Anette, but... My love-, friends calls me Hansdotter.”
Oh? Oho? Hansdotter, is it? May i call you Hans? Well, i will whether you tell me to or not.
She continued our sudden interregation.
”W-, What is you?”
Hm? What? Well, im a human.
My roots moved almost of their own acord, forming the word...
”Human? What is ”Huu-Mann?...”
Hm. how about...
”Man? You is one man?”
Yes! I is one man!
Nodd nodd.
She nodded as well.
”Why is you one flower?”
Lets see... Rather long word...
”...Rainkarna... ah! Reincarnation!” (heyo, lemmi just clarify. reincarnation in swedish is reinkarnation. similar. yet not quite.)
Yes yes!
She nodded once more.
”Is you... Herrmann?...”
I shrugged.
She pondered for a second with a deep frown.
”Aha! You is only one reincarnation which not knows of its former life!”
Um, no. I know who i was in my past life. I was a friendless loser named Bob whose only companion was a snake named Muffin and i died by sword.
I kept shrugging, but she was too determined.
And so, the conversation drew to a close.

Agenda of the Villainess
As the daughter of a duke, Lady Alicia Senius expected to awaken her latent magical ability during her Blooming ceremony. She was not expecting her connection to the flowers of Fate to awaken memories of a past life, however, and certainly not memories that were somehow inextricably tied with her future. Now, Alicia must find a way to escape the fatal punishment that is the destiny of a villainous noble girl. In doing so, she might even alter the fate of the whole world. This novel is a steampunk take on the otome villainess genre, heavily inspired by the late Victorian era of England and with a system of magic based around floweral circuitry. If that sounds like your cup of tea, why not give it a shot? Updates on Thursday every week.

Impossible Devices
Twenty years after the start of the new millenium, the world was largely at peace. Crime was at an all-time low in most nations. No large scale conflicts between countries currently existed, and the people of Earth had even begun to see hope for the future. In the year 2020, all of that changed. The first occurrences of the interdimensional reality altering zones occurred. Named 'Dungeons' these supernatural and alien existences unleashed monsters and mayhem upon the world. Only after considerable loss of life and adaptation to the new world order did people begin to rally back. The discovery of a strange artificact item in one of the dungeons allowed humanity to develop powers far beyond their wildest imagination. This device worked on principles considered to be impossible. It was not the only one. Items of super-science and magic were discovered inside the dungeons of the world that could not possibly work according to the known laws of physics. Yet, they did. A special school was built to train young people so that they could specialize in dungeon exploration, in the defeat of monsters and the acquisition of the Impossible Devices.
