I wasnt sure how to describe it at frst, but after a moments hesitation, i decided to act on my first impression.
It looked like a teenager.
That anorexic form, that crooked hunch of a back, that larynx, indicating its male sex and body...
Indeed, most definatly, a teenager.
Everything about him screamed it.
Exept the fact that it was only the trose and thighs of a teenager. And that the rest of his body was pretty much a huge slime. And that this slime, inclusing his body, had a warm, yellow-ish sheen to it.
Only the most basic things were that of a human. The rest were most definatly that of a monster.
Hm.
This form looks somwhat... Familiar.
I havent seen anything like it, except...
Myself...
My own body, only barely resembeing that of a child (little girl)...
His could be called the same, to an extent.
However, my thoughts were cut short by a deep, almost growlig, yet also fleeting and uncertain, voice, both veverbating through the cave as well as shrinking away into the tunnel behing it.
”Ummm, d-, dhudd, plehz, donnt”
”Huh?”
Hans made a strange sound and looked at me.
”Isnt that... Isnt that the same language you speak?...”
”Might be... Try speaking...”
I coughed, and prepeared to speak like fifty words more than id actually like. I think i might be getting a bit too used to speaking only one or two words...
”Ehem. Hello there, hello hello. What are you? A fellow?”
”H-, Huh? Yoo spikk ingrish two?”
”Um, yes. Is-, Is your tounge a bit sore?”
”No, z two begg”
”Ah, i feel you. I felt the same when i first humanized. Ah, good times...”
”Sooo... Wiel eet gett betr?”
”Um, yes. Youll get used to it. Though i presume you dont know swedish yet. Am i correct in this presumption?”

”Ummmmmm, i gues so? I dunno dudd.”
”Ill take that as a yes... Well, on the other hand, why did you trabsform only now and not earlier? Actually, forget that. Are you human?”
”Wha-, ummm, like... I couldn’ befo? a’ ye, im hoomn.”
”Couldnt? But i saw your screen thing... You should have-,”
”My dood, i only lernd dis now. And by skreen, doo yoo mean mei Status?”
”Status? Im not sure what youre saying, but... I suppose so? Then again, ive got no reason to doubt you except that you made an attempt on me and Hans over here’s lives.”
”M-, Mei dood! I was blind! Wiffh raggae!”
”Rage, huh? You sure it wasnt a rational decition?
”Ye!”
”Right, right. Well, whats stopping me from just absorbing you right now to put you out of your misery?”
”Aim hooman! Promis! Was only reincarnated ass slajm!”
”...Reincarnated?...”
”Ye! Buss hit me, mann! I ded!”
”...A buss? So... Youre from earth, then?...”
”Y-, U2!?”
”Um, yeah... So... Youre really human, then?”
”Ye!”
”Well... I hardly think stealing carrots is all you can do with this new chance at life. Right?”
”...Right...”
”So... What will you do now?”
”I got no family, mann... No hoom...”
”So... What will you do now?”
”Ca-, Can i... Go with you?...”
”With us?”
”Y-, Yeah, i mean... Until i find another place to settle down, that is...”
”...Right... Well, i-... I... I sure would like another friend... S-, Sure! come on along!”
”R-, Really!? May I!?!”
”Hans!”
”W-, What is it, Bob?...”
”He join!”
”He?... Who?...”
”Slime! He join! Go! With us!”
”Um, what”

At The Precipice
Defenseless. Scared. Alone. That describes the life of Brock Carter as of late. Following his ‘death’ at the hands of a vicious magpie, Brock is rescued by the machinations of the newly instated, all-powerful System and thrust knee-deep into a brutal world catered only to the strong. Fluctuating between two states of being and trapped within a city ravaged by time, he is told to either seek out the mysterious ‘Source’, or die trying. He just hopes he can do it without scuffing his expensive suit in the process. ***** Honestly, I've just always wanted to write a story. I had a crack at it a few years back, but the entire thing fell apart before it even began. At The Precipice was originally written as a way for me to destress and play with System elements and characters, but eventually I decided that if I was gonna write, why not post it too? Writing's just a hobby of mine, so don't expect this to be at published novel level, I guess, or even anything of relative polish. Updates every Mon-Tues-Wed-Thurs-Fri Average chapter length is 2000 - 3000 words ***** What to expect: - A semi-comedic/light tone, mixed in with a gritty world and brutal survival (not ever grimdark though) - An MC that thinks about what he's going to do and why he'll do it, even if his internal logic is lacking. Is a rather rational person, not often influenced by his emotions, but can be in extreme situations. - A plot heavily focused upon the MC, but one that will branch off to envelope the other characters in the world at times. Often, it's just other people's perspectives of him. - A story of power growth. While the MC is certainly going to be powerful, even over 100 chapters in from what I've written, he still isn't the strongest being on Earth, let alone the entire Multiverse. - Lots of gore, vivid fight descriptions, and often times deaths of people, some even somewhat important to the story ***** Things this story will never have: - Harems - An edgy, villainous MC - An MC that does jackshit about things for 'plot reasons'

Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia
"Why are my hands getting warmer?" As far as Alicia was concerned, she was the daughter of a rich businessman attending high school. Then, she feels off and at the same time, she's not. One week later, her best friend brought her to another world(s). This is Alicia Bell's tale. 1st book written in the Wizards of the Otherworldly series. Wizards of the Otherworldly Court is a fantasy story about the Otherworldly Court, an inter-dimensional (or world-hopping, you get the idea) organization made up of people of all ages, gender, and race from many parallel or different worlds. They are granted elemental-like magic powers and called themselves 'Court Wizards'. They are tasked to watch over the many worlds they come across and step into these worlds on 'missions' to preserve the balance, life, order, anything to make said worlds better places in the shadows but may reveal themselves if necessary. However, these missions may partially or even fully oppose their nature, personal interests, and ideals. Yet, most of the Court Wizards are aware and willing to complete even the worst missions that would shatter their true selves that they will never cast aside regardless, either growing or regressing because of it. Basically, it's isekai to multiple worlds but each book after Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia focuses primarily on one world while also discussing its lore in detail. Book Alicia is the introduction containing the essential worldbuilding of the Otherworldly Court universe you need to know while shoving in as many characters and worlds as I can. Also, each book will have a different main character, sometimes more than one in a single book, like Jojo. Crossposted with Wattpad, WordPress, Sufficient Velocity, and Rainobu.
