Hello everyone I'm "new" to writing I hope you like this short intro please

World of Legends the newest and greatest VRMMORPG to date. To those that aren’t familiar with the term It is a virtual reality. The game uses a capsule to bring players completely into a new fantasy world. World of Legends was just released and in only two weeks it was claimed to be the number one game in the world. Legends boasts an astounding 90% realism and almost limitless possibilities in game play. Players could take the form of a giant orc wielding an almost equally big axe mowing down humans, to a little pixies using magic to decimate huge fields of monsters. Where a world of undiscovered riches and power await those who have the guts to go out and conquer. The thoughts of such possibilities caused players to come in droves to get a Capsule and join the world of legends.

I also wish to join into this new world. If you must have a reasons it is due to the nature of my family and our…”business.” My family is part of the “Other world” the part that most normal people don’t know of. You think that our world and the virtual world are different, but there are some things you wouldn’t believe. Anyway my family is a clan of Western Magi. Yea you heard me, Magi, the wise wizards, magicians, conjurers, exorcists, holy men, druids… you get the idea. Anyway my family is originally from Central Europe, but we moved around quite a bit, currently we are helping some “old” (300 years old) friends of ours in Japan.

Now you must think that it would be awesome to be part of the “Other world” but I’m not like the other members of my family. I have no Spirit power or Mana. I am just your run of the mill 17 year old kid that is overshadowed by my genius siblings. After discovering my lack of power at the age of five my parents were ashamed. I was the first powerless person in the main family in the last 2,000 years. They started to try strange methods to induce my power to awaken, such as keeping me in a spirit field, forcing Mana into my body, and other more devious methods…. yet to no avail. It wasn’t until my little twin brother and sister turned four and started to use powers beyond a normal magi. Realizing that I was no good, my parents just left me to my own devices and doted on the twins. This made me resent them for a time, but that is just foolishness. I love them, but I still don’t have a good relationship with my parents.

In order to pass my time in a house that doesn’t want me, I drowned myself in the ancient text of my ancestors. Reading scrolls tablets and accumulating knowledge. It was mostly useless except that I learned to create special potions and other alchemical recipes. With the help of the twins we made a great living selling them to other magi. This however was the limit of my ability. I started to dream of what it would be like to have power like the rest of my family. Then it hit me like a brick. There was a world different yet similar to our own. A world where anyone could be anything. Even better it was a world where I could use magic! A small grin spread across my face as i sat there dreaming of what the future held
