Chapter 0112
The Weapon Pavilion spat Tempest out of its sacred hall like yesterday trash.
“It was only three dozen weapons. No need to be harsh about it.” Tempest grouched to the miser then patted away the ache in her behind as she landed quite harshly on it.
After Tempest nabbed all of the weapons with weapon spirits who wanted to leave the graveyard, Tempest continued on her shopping spree, tossing any weapons that caught her eyes into the space ring.
When she touched her fiftieth ordinary weapon, an array activated, sucking Tempest into it and spitting her outside.
“What a haul!” Tempest gleefully smiled. 62 ordinary weapons and 36 weapons with weapon spirits piled into two giants heaps inside her space ring.
The portal opened when she touched her 50th weapon, but between the time it fully open and she was sucked out, she was able to grab 12 more weapons.
Tempest smile grew wider as she thought of all the money she can get for selling the weapons.
“I can definitely redeem them with the money I will get.” By now Tempest smile was a full blown out Cheshire cat like grin even, scarier than the Bride of Chucky. She’s scarier than Chucky even after he was thrown into the fire in the first movie. Chucky is presumably a male doll and comparing Tempest to Chucky is sexist. Her spirits is all about political correctness.
You look like a deranged monster from the pits of hell when you smile like that. Or not.
“Hey!”
As you like to say, ‘Truth hurts. Live with the pain.’
“Are you comparing a little beauty like me to a monster?”
No. Just your smile.
“What difference does it make?”
You look like a nice, normal kid. When you smiled that weird smile of yours, even devil would want to jump back into hell.

“Ventus, you have no sense of beauty! My smile makes me look like an adorable child, pure and innocent like jade. When people see me, they’d think I’m a beautiful princess out of a fairy tale. They can’t help but love me.” Tempest added a little blush to her pale white cheeks by pinching it, then she stretched out the kinks in her tiny body and pose like a sweet innocent child.
One had to admit, Tempest looked like a sweet innocent child when she wanted to be. She opens her clear bright eyes wide when she wants to be childish. A tear would form at the corner of her black eyes due to strain she places on them, making her look like a crying little white bunny. With soft skin only a child could have, big pouty lips any human on Earth would think she had them done, and a small button nose, Tempest was the picture of cute.
Until she smiles, that is.
Then she looked like a deranged patient who escaped from the psychiatric ward. She is a deranged patient who escaped from a psychiatric ward. Tempest still doesn’t like the comparison.
Cardis incoming, two minutes.
Tempest wiped away her cute faced and put on a sad face.
Tempest does have a sense of right and wrong. It may be skewed but it is there. Tempest knew taking the weapons from the Weapon Pavilion was wrong. Cardis was kind enough to let her choose her weapon. It was wrong to take more than one. She wasn’t an ungrateful child who bites that hands that feed her.
She couldn’t help herself. It was torture for her see all the goodies placed before her and was told to pick only one.
“The weapon spirit asked me to take them out.” Tempest righteously justified her plunder before affecting her sad face.

Even though Tempest knew right from wrong and she did feel a tiny bit guilty for looting the Weapon Pavilion, she’d still take the weapons.
She wasn’t in the clear yet. She has to get pass the hurdle name Cardis.
Tempest knows she isn’t crafty enough to outwit the thousand year old sly fox. She wasn’t even going to try. Her plan was simple. Admit she stole… ahem, took some weapons out of the Weapon Pavilion but fudge on the amount.
It was going to be obvious to anyone with eyes. Tempest had a lot of weapons on her. Even if she sells a weapon here and there and give the weapons away, the amounts of weapons coming out of her hand would more than a small kingdom entire treasury.
Tempest had enough knowledge to know how hard it is finding a weapon with a weapon spirit. For her to hand them out like candy… well, she has to prepare a suitable explanation before hand.
Claiming the weapons were family heirlooms is a possibility, but it can’t account for the number of weapons Tempest intends to send out. At least five. One for each of her sisters. Nepotism at its finest. Huh? Is it nepotism when they aren’t related by blood? Hmmm… favoritism at its finest then. Would calling it favoritism be denying the sisterhood? Are we sisters in the this life? Does the bond of sisterhood transcend life?
These questions are one Tempest can answer. “Only they can define our relationship. Let’s let them decided.”
Setting aside Tempest’s plan for them, the weapon spirits themselves want to be set adrift in the world. They want an owner. Tempest holding on to them is another form of torture. She may tease and taunt Ugly and intend to give him to the devious silver hair nut but it is in line with their desire. The silver hair nut might actually be the best person to disperse the weapons.
Best person or not, Tempest knew better than to do it. She gets the feeling it’ll come to bite her in the butt. Karma has a way of getting to you, one way or another.
Poor Xing Zhi Hui is living proof of that.
