《The 8th Day》Not a Chapter: A (tentative) Two Day Break

I was looking over my notes, word count, and all those good things earlier, and I think where the story is at HERE, would be a good place to say that ARC 2 is ending, and ARC 3 is beginning.
I'd named ARC 2: Exploring the School so it'd have a tentative title while I was working on it, but now it seems as if it'd be better being called ARC 2: Finding the Blade.
As i'd did when I finished up chapter 27 for Arc 1: Entering the New World, I want to take a little time to update my notes, go through and do a little editing and polishing of things, and basically tidy things up before proceeding forward with the next segment of the story. (Which I suppose will tentatively be called ARC 3: The Race, for now. )
If you know of any place with typos or errors which you think I should address, kindly point them out to me.
If you're looking for something to do in your downtime, while I go through the edit and note gathering phase for ARC 2, feel free to take a moment and hop over to main page to rate and review the work. Be honest: I'd rather have 0 star reviews that help me find places that I need to go back and clarify or work on, than just a click for a 5 star review rating simply because it's easier. (Not that I don't appreciate those 5 star ratings, mind you. They help give validation and let me know that there are some folks who like the style/pace/characters and whatnot. ;))
Of course, if you don't want to bother with clicking to the main page, feel free to post your concerns, feedback, questions, rants, and raves here as well.
As always, I appreciate all the feedback you guys offer -- both good and bad -- and I simply hope you're enjoying reading the work as much as I'm enjoying writing it.

The Orb Weaver Chronicles
"The Orb Weaver Chronicles contains several major and unique events that may or may not unknowingly intertwines with one another. The author of these chronicles is unknown, although some have hinted at the symbolism behind its name..." - Year unknown, location unknown 9 February 2022 Update: Welcome to the companion short story compilation of my novel trilogy The Shadow Paradigm. This compilation features prequels, sidequels and sequels to the novel's major plotline, as well as featuring a wide range of characters, new and recurring. Prior knowledge of the novel is not necessary as the Orb Weaver Chronicles' short stories are standalone. Once called The Arkesyyan Chronicles, I've deleted quite a few of its old stories. Due to the new avenue and revision, oriented toward more mystery and film-noir ambience, that I took my stories into, I've removed all aliens and overly sci-fi aspects of the whole TSP lineup, so I've updated the Orb Weaver Chronicles accordingly. I hope you enjoy them, and in time, a revised version will also be updated.
