As I’ve unexpectedly disappeared a few times in the past due to medical issues, I wanted to keep everyone in the loop better this time so they won’t have to worry I’m running off and abandoning this story. Yesterday was “Doctor’s Day”, and I got my yearly Flu shot. Today, I’m fighting off the “half-flu” that it gives to help build resistance against the full fledged flu, so I’m just sleeping and drinking a lot of fluids right now.

Releases will probably be paused for the next several days, until I kick this “krud”, so how about you guys take a little time to post a review on this story while waiting to read more of it again? Feedback is a nice thing to have for any author, as it helps us find and improve our work, and I’d love to hear from everyone about how they feel regarding this one.

Regardless, I hope everyone is enjoying the ride so far, and — for now — I’m back off to bed with a box of tissues clutched tightly by my side. ;D
