-The Dungeon Break(4.2)-
-Unbeatable Enemy-
Roxe kept lying on the floor without moving an inch. He wasn’t naïve enough to believe that it had died with just a single move from his part. Besides that, the system had yet to notify about the quest completion.
It means, that thing was still alive.
Suddenly one of its armored hand twitched. Before long its whole body moved and it stood up, although clumsily. There was a dent formed on its massive amount of HP, but still, it was fine overall. An HP’s above 24000 was not something to scoff. As if it was trying to taunt him, Roxe wiped his armored torso like one would do when clearing the dust off it.
‘Not even a scratch!?’ Kenshin screamed in his head seeing its spotless armor. The sturdiness of the armor was really mindboggling. Suddenly it lifted its right hand to the sky, conjuring a huge amount of purple light above its head. The light then slowly took shape, forming a two-meter-long sword. After that, more lights gathered, forming two more such swords. Three swords formed above Roxe’s head out of pure energy, swirling around according to its will.
Roxe then lifted its right hand and pointed towards Kenshin. One of the swords floated towards Kenshin at astonishing speed, leaving behind a purple blazing trail. It targeted his heart. With all his concentration, he waited until the last moment and sidestepped to avoid the sword. It missed him by a hair’s breadth and embedded itself in the wall behind him.
BOOM!!
The energy sword detonated, wiping out a huge chunk off the wall. Kenshin’s scalp numbed at this. Thank god, he hadn’t blocked it.
As if getting impatient, Roxe, lifted his two hands and pointed towards Kenshin’s direction. Heeding his command, the remaining two swords flashed towards Kenshin. One targeted his head while the other one his heart. The swords were arranged in such a way that; one of them will Pearce his body no matter which side he leans.

Sidestepping was impossible!
Kenshin’s eyes scanned his surroundings, trying to find an opening to jump. As these energy swords couldn’t be blocked, the only way was to dodge it.
‘There!’ he found an opening. The two swords had a time lag of 24 milliseconds. The one on the right was slower than the one on left by 24 milliseconds. Using his Highspeed Movements to the maximum, he jumped forward just as the left sword was about to touch his head. Making a roll on the floor, he successfully avoided both the swords.
Boom!
Boom!
The two swords impacted the wall behind him and exploded upon impact.
[Ding* Skill Highspeed Movements Leveled Up]
These movements he did was so intense that his passive skill leveled up.
‘This monster…! It will be very difficult to defeat it…might be even impossible for the current me. I need to find a way out!’ Kenshin began thinking about what he can do in this situation. At the current moment, he was unable to defeat this monster. Let alone defeat, he can’t even go to the offensive anymore. Not only its general stats were higher than his, but also it had a shockingly high HP even for a level 50 monster.
His eyes shifted towards the cave.
‘Maybe Core knows a way!’ Kenshin began thinking. The core was a dungeon core, the same as this monster. If anyone could tell him about it was only him. But the problem was this monster. It seems to aware of his intentions and was preventing him from entering the cave.
Kenshin looked at his stats and found that his MP had more than half filled. His title buff also had enough time. He retrieved the medium potion he bought earlier and downed it in one go. Within a few seconds, his MP was filled to the brim again. As for his stamina; it was constantly regenerated by his Passive Regeneration.

Standing up, Kenshin swirled the massive three meters long scythe around him and ran towards Roxe. By now, his Scythe Mastery had also gained a level, enabling him to use it even more fluidly.
This time Roxe didn’t underestimate him. It brandished its two-meter-long sword and stood in a defensive pose.
Maintaining enough distance from the monster so that his scythe could reach it; Kenshin used his right leg as a pivot and rotated around himself. The massive scythe formed a beautiful arc around him, cutting the very air molecules in its path. It approached Roxe in an instant.
Due to his Highspeed Movements skill, his reaction time enhanced to 2% of a normal person. With it Kenshin accurately saw when his scythe touched Roxe’s blade, at that particular time, he unleashed a fully concentrated Flaming slash. While simultaneously he used Explosion Ring he copied from Maria. From the well-calculated impact, Roxe was sent flying again.
Unlike with Maria, his casting speed was instantaneous due to the system. A red ring formed above his head, using his unused left hand, he sent it flying towards the flying Roxe. The ring expanded before Roxe could stabilize itself and surrounded it. Within a second it detonated.
BOOM!!
[-2900]
Another huge damage value floated above Roxe. Without waiting to see the results, Kenshin speed towards the cave. All these were mere distractions. He hadn’t tried to defeat it with those well-coordinated attacks. His target was the cave all along. Within seconds, Kenshin traversed the distance between him and the cave entrance.
Just as he was about to enter it, a purple crescent moon shaped energy blast flashed towards him. It was the same skill Roxe used when it met him first. But Kenshin didn’t stop, he couldn’t stop. Life of thousands of people was at stake here, besides his own life was also in danger. Making a forward roll, he vanished inside the midnight black cave.
Just after he entered the cave, a red curtain formed in front of the cave opening, just in time to block two more crescent slashes from Roxe. The curtains seemed sturdy enough to block such powerful attacks from that monster.
Sitting on the ground, Kenshin took deep breaths to stabilize his rapidly beating heart. Every interaction with that monster had felt like walking on a thin string above a deep trench to him.
‘So dangerous!’ Kenshin couldn’t help but thank god for his well-timed skill gains. If he hadn’t copied Maria’s skill then he couldn't have masked Roxe’s vision. If he hadn’t gained Highspeed Movements, maybe he couldn’t keep up with this monster.
All these things were so surreal that Kenshin began suspecting hands of fate behind all this.
“Kenshin! You have come” a very chirpy voice was heard inside the otherwise silent cave, bringing Kenshin away from his thoughts.
